Luke went to Elsa and said something to her in a low voice.
After hearing that, Elsa adjusted the mission again and handed over most of the investigation work to the three rookies. She teamed up with Selina and began to interrogate the five most suspicious candidates.
Luke stood quietly behind them and didn't ask any questions. Instead, he observed their reactions.
When the last person came in, all three of them greeted him. "Hello, Todd."
This was Todd Travis, the second most important person in the crew.
He was the screenwriter and the first assistant director of the crew.
Other than Pierce, he was the one with the most power in the crew.
Producer? Sorry, Director Pierce is also the producer of this film.
After a few minutes of questioning, Todd got up and left.
Elsa waited for a moment before she turned around and looked at Luke. "Did you find anything?"
Luke walked up to them and said, "A little. But tell me what you found first, in case you're prejudiced by my words. "
Evidence was needed to convict a murderer. He could identify the murderer, but he couldn't use it as evidence to close the case.
Selina thought for a moment and said, "I just recalled that the prop master and his two assistants weren't in my line of sight during the shoot."
Pondering for a moment, Elsa shook her head. "Luke said that the murderer used a trap to kill Sarah, and didn't necessarily need to be there. Maybe that's what the murderer thought, which is why he did it. Because you and Luke are the best alibis. "
Luke nodded inwardly.
Nobody knew why Sarah had fallen into the trap, so it was impossible to identify the murderer, since Sarah might not have fallen into the trap at the same time as when the murderer had set it up.
Elsa said, "Even if the murderer never left your line of sight, he's only a little less suspicious, and the trap might have been set up before you arrived."
Selina and Luke both nodded.
That way, it was more likely that the trap would be discovered by someone else, but it would be harder to trace it.
Elsa looked at Luke and asked, "Can you tell us what you found now?"
Luke said, "Todd is the most suspicious."
Both Elsa and Selina were stunned. Elsa asked curiously, "Why is it him?"
He was the scriptwriter and assistant director. He was always with Pierce, so many people paid attention to him.
Luke had already found an excuse. He spread his hands and said, "Because it's hard for him to find the time to commit the crime."
Elsa understood. "So, he used a trap to kill people because he couldn't leave people's sight for too long?"
Luke nodded and added, "Secondly, he's the screenwriter and assistant director. He's one of the few people in the crew who can easily control Sarah's movements."
Both Elsa and Selina understood what was going on.
Although Sarah was just a third-rate actress, only Pierce and Todd could suppress her in the crew.
After all, this was a low-budget horror film! She was the biggest star in the movie.
Of course, Pierce had the advantage in this regard.
Even if he asked Sharan to strip naked and stand on the trap, Sharan would obediently do it.
But Pierce had no motive. His every move was being watched, and his scent was not on either of the ropes.
Luke's Sharp Nose was similar to data collection.
As long as he listed the locations and the scents on the tools, it would be hard to hide the murderer's identity.
Nobody had been to the area where Sarah died today, but Todd's scent was still there, and it was the same scent as Sarah's.

If Luke hadn't been dragged here by Jennifer, Todd might have been able to get away with it.
"If it's Todd, what's his motive?" Selina was confused. "He's the scriptwriter and assistant director. What's in it for him to make such a big scandal?"
Neither Elsa nor Luke could give her an answer. There were too many possibilities.
Elsa, however, didn't think too much about it. She simply said, "I'll have Billy and Simmons continue the investigation to distract everybody. Everybody else will investigate Todd. I don't believe that we can't find any loopholes. "
Naturally, Luke and Selina had no objections.
It was best for the three female detectives to pry information out of the crew. It would be easier for them to communicate with the female detectives who weren't as aggressive.
After all, they weren't the main suspects, and being too nervous wouldn't help.
After another round of questioning, both the detectives and the crew were exhausted, but no one complained.
It was unknown whether or not the crew could continue to exist after this incident.
The crew had to rely on this movie to survive, and the detectives wanted to solve the case as soon as possible to avoid any negative repercussions.
An hour later, Elsa returned with the other two women. She gathered with Luke and said, "There's something wrong with Todd."
Luke didn't say anything and waited for her to continue.
Elsa, however, didn't say anything. She took a bottle of water from Y 'lisabet and gestured for her to speak.
Y 'lisabet gave everybody a bottle of water and said, "Not everybody, but based on what we know, Todd and Sarah are close. It was Todd who recommended her as the lead actress."
Luke didn't say anything and continued listening.
"However, it's said that Pierce isn't satisfied with Sarah's acting skills, and is thinking of replacing her," she said.
Luke was confused. "We've already started shooting. Won't we lose a lot of money if we replace her?"
Y 'lisabet said, "Yes, but this is just a low-budget horror movie, and filming has only been going on for a week. Also, because Pierce isn't satisfied with Sarah's acting, less than a tenth of the movie has been shot. If we replace her and reshoot the movie, we'll be able to save a lot of money. "
Luke nodded to show that he got it.
If Pierce was satisfied with Todd's acting skills, they might be able to save a month or even several months, which would be even cheaper.
