Chapter 368

This Evil God was like the amalgamation of all the monsters that Elwyn had seen on the murals in the temple. Its huge round body had all the characteristics of those monsters.

Rather than calling it a god, it would be better to call it a complete monster.

These fallen horsemen must have gone mad, to actually worship such a person.

Flesh and blood converged towards it, but it was still unable to fill it up. The Evil God's silhouette swelled outwards, its diameter almost the same as the huge cloud vortex above the Moon Temple.

The body that was already covered in flesh and blood began to tear open, the desolation spreading everywhere. These cracks seemed to be countless, endlessly opening throats.

Very soon, the area above its dark green round body that was surging with shadows was completely covered by the dark clouds of despair. They seemed to have merged into one.

On the platform, the fallen horsemen were crawling on the ground, their mouths muttering something, they didn't even dare to raise their heads. Only Elwyn and Ugart were still standing there.

Ugart took a step forward, but immediately stopped.

Suddenly, rain began to fall from the sky, the raindrops becoming heavier and heavier.

These raindrops were all dark red, they looked like dried blood.

The raindrops fell on the obsidian temple, the ancient and unchanging rocks were suffused with bloody foam, they were being corroded by the boiling, losing their previous luster.

A layer of green film began to appear on the ground, it looked like green moss that had grown several times taller. Strange plants began to emerge, they rapidly grew wherever the rainwater touched them.

The wriggling tentacles of the Evil God were like the roots of a tree, taking root in the huge stone statue and the Moon Temple, cracks began to appear on the hard stone.

"What do we do now?" Ugart muttered.

The powerful centaur warriors seemed to have sunk into despair, this Evil God was simply undefeatable.

Elwyn didn't reply, he was currently concentrating on finding the source of the magic. Following the appearance of the Evil God, the magic stone that Gryffindor had left behind was rapidly losing its magic.

Currently, the entire platform of the temple was filled with restless magic.

This spell had already been completed, no matter how many fallen horsemen were defeated, they wouldn't be able to stop it.

The remaining methods were either to find the wooden statue that Ugart had mentioned, which was the root of everything, and destroy it to put an end to the Evil God's descent, or to once again seal the Evil God according to the spells used by the ancient Warlocks at that time.

As for whether or not he wanted to defeat it head-on …

If it was possible, the ancient Warlocks wouldn't have just sealed it, instead of destroying it once and for all.

He did not know where the Fallen Centaur had hidden the wooden statue. Elwyn tried to find it by following the path of magic, but it was as if he had entered a surging deep blue ocean.

Perhaps, in front of the Evil God that was about to descend, all of his efforts would be in vain.

But Elwyn did not give up. There must be a way.

He did not know how Ugart had resealed the Evil God in real history. Although he was brave, the trouble that appeared before him was completely beyond his ability.

Of course, this was not the real world, after all. This could also be Gryffindor's bad taste, and he increased the difficulty of the challenge without permission.

In any case, everything in this illusion was too real. Elwyn felt as if he had really returned to the bitter centaur civil war eight hundred years ago.

In the sky, the Evil God's enormous spherical body slowly stretched forward, its lifeless red eyes looked down, coldly looking at Elwyn and Ugart.

An unfamiliar voice resounded from an unknown place, reverberating in the centaur tribe.

"Human Wizard, in front of a grand existence that you are destined to never know, you actually still dare to resist." It slowly spoke. "Truly laughable. According to what I know, the most ancient and strongest emotion of humans is fear, and the most ancient and strongest fear is the unknown."

Elwyn ignored it, concentrating his mind.

He had previously carefully researched it, it was the same as the fellow he met underground. The echoing and whispering words were actually magic that affected the soul, able to draw out the most negative emotions in a person's heart.

He had already made preparations for this.

"Summon Guardian!" He shouted loudly, waving his magic wand to summon his Guardian God.

The previous two experiences reminded him, the Guardian God Incantation that emitted positive energy and could resist all negative emotions was not only effective against Soul Catchers, it was also effective against these Evil Gods and Evil God creations that came from the void.

Looks like he had to re-research this magic when he returned.

He focused his attention, thinking of the things that made him the happiest, as well as the emotions of protecting Hermione and the Hogwarts.

The little cat made of silver light quickly circled around him and Ugart, finally lying on his shoulder.

A milky white energy barrier appeared out of nowhere, blocking the Evil God's power from penetrating.

"Weak human Wizard, you are just like your ancestors, making a useless resistance. I have already shown you the most benevolent thing in the world by not destroying you immediately."

The Evil God's enormous body continued to move forward, coldly staring at Elwyn.

"My companions and I came from the darkest corner of the world, the tentacles of human Wizards had just touched that place, and were shocked by the true scene that they saw with their own eyes." It continued to speak, "That is the present of our world, and also the future of your world. Under the vast and boundless ocean, there are countless secrets … "

Elwyn increased the output of magic, and his voice became intermittent.

As the Evil God penetrated, the energy barrier in front of him was full of cracks, and could shatter at any time. The Guardian God lying on his shoulder also seemed to have fallen asleep.

Elwyn clenched his fists, his entire body was covered in sweat.

After obtaining the powerful magic from Slytherin's locket, he had never felt that the magic in his body was insufficient like now.

"Do you wish to explore the mysteries of fear?" The Evil God's voice sounded again. "You seem to be fearless, but in the face of true fear, you only have two endings. You can either be driven mad, and become my worshippers like these centaurs, or you can escape, like your ancestors, escape from the light, escape to a new dark era to seek peace and safety."

"Found it, it's over there!" Elwyn finally found the source of all the magic gathering.

He shouted to the centaur underneath him, but Ugart did not even move.

The centaur stood there quietly, as though he was petrified, or perhaps his existence was fake, like this endless illusion.

"Damn it!" Elwyn waved his magic wand, and jumped down from the centaur.

He did not know what trick Gryffindor was playing, could it be that he was so focused on acting as the Evil God that he forgot to control the centaurs?
