Report

Elwyn gripped his wand tightly, trying his best to stare at the dark tunnel ahead.

He wanted to see what was coming, but the lack of words in his head could not accurately describe the three monsters that were approaching him.

Elwyn could only use a more direct method to describe it. In front of him were three five foot tall giant red crustaceans.

In terms of species classification, they were probably closer to fungi.

Accurately speaking, they seemed to be a mix between a crustacean and a fungus.

They buzzed, and their slender bodies were divided into many segments like insects. Their exposed scaly skin was covered in thin, uneven folds.

In front of their bodies were six pairs of sharp claws covered with barbs, curled up together as though they were protecting something, occasionally squirming irregularly.

Behind them was a pair of gigantic crimson wings made of flesh. The surface of the wings was already rotten, and the flesh on it was slowly falling off.

Very quickly, large amounts of yellow worms crawled out from the wounds. Together with the mucus, they dragged the falling flesh back up and restored it to its original position.

The entire process was too disgusting, Elwyn could not help but swallow his saliva.

Fear was like a slender viper, coiling around the oppressive atmosphere, waving its scarlet tongue as though it was about to suffocate him.

Ugart did not move, neither did Elwyn.

He raised his wand high up, borrowing the dim light, he could see the heads of the three monsters, they were exactly the same as the horrifying statues he had seen before.

Their heads had green whirlpool shaped elliptical lumps, like a randomly trimmed shrub, it was filled with holes of different sizes.

These creatures were the monsters Elwyn had seen in the murals along the way, they were not figments of the centaur's imagination, no matter if they were summoned from the void or created by magic. In short, they had now appeared in real life.

"Creation of the Evil God." Ugart muttered softly, his voice carrying obvious disdain.

Then, without any warning, the sturdy centaur glided forward and charged forward.

The sharp spear in his hand was raised high, carrying with it an unparalleled aura and a power that was enough to tear the fire dragon to shreds.

Elwyn also hurriedly followed, waving his wand to cast a few spells to coordinate with Ugart's attacks.

The three monsters flapped their huge wings and easily dodged Elwyn's attack.

They buzzed incessantly, and their terrifying heads swayed as subtle changes appeared on them.

His muscles wriggled, and the holes of different sizes began to change.

Elwyn sensed a faint magical aura. It was very unfamiliar. It was magic that he had never encountered before. It was too strange.

He wanted to warn Ugart, but the next second, before he could shout, he saw Ugart, who was about to rush in front of the monster, suddenly stop.

His hands hung limply on both sides of his body, and his eyes were tightly shut. His demeanor was very abnormal.

Elwyn did not know what had happened to this powerful centaur warrior. Evidently, the opponent's magic was effective, Ugart seemed to have been hypnotized.

He was completely under the opponent's control, and had lost the will to resist, no longer thinking of attacking.

Despite Elwyn's loud shouts, the centaur acted as if he did not hear him. He strode forward, getting closer and closer to the three monsters.

The monster's claws wriggled, and slowly opened outwards, revealing a protected area in the middle.

This time, Elwyn could clearly see that where the body should have been, there was a round, brown mouth filled with sharp teeth.

The three mouths were chewing and expanding, and the mucous membranes, internal organs, blood, and pieces of flesh mixed together, constantly opening, closing, and opening.

Under the monster's control, Ugart bent down, aimed his head at the mouth closest to him, and walked over step by step …

If he stuffed his head into the mouth full of sharp teeth, one could imagine what would happen. It would probably be a scene of a watermelon being chopped into pieces by countless knives.

"Damn it." Elwyn hastily waved his wand, and consecutively released a few spells.

The spells rapidly advanced, and when they were about to touch the monster's body, the surrounding air seemed to have instantly turned into a viscous oily substance. Correspondingly, the speed of Elwyn's spells clearly slowed down.

The monsters easily dodged Elwyn's attacks, and the buzzing sound from an unknown part of their body became even louder, as if expressing their anger and dissatisfaction towards Elwyn, or perhaps mocking his ignorance.

Ugart stopped in his tracks, and stared blankly ahead.

After a short, undetectable communication, the two monsters flew towards Elwyn's position, the holes in their skulls constantly wriggling.

A strange magic fluctuation flashed past, and Elwyn's vision became blurry. His surroundings became more and more misty, and a yellow fog appeared out of nowhere and enveloped him.

He was still in the centaur temple, but it also seemed like he wasn't here.

Within the hazy yellow fog, Elwyn couldn't see the direction, and was completely lost within. Slowly, he stopped thinking about anything, and only heard a voice talking to him in front.

Elwyn couldn't hear what the other party was saying, and slowly walked forward. Perhaps if he got closer, he could listen carefully to the voice, and find out why it was here.

Although Elwyn had a bad feeling deep down, he couldn't stop his body from moving, and slowly bent down …

The closer he got, the clearer the originally blurry voice became.

They seemed to be shouting Elwyn's name, and some sort of emotion seemed to be sucked out of their bodies, leaving behind only endless fear and a lonely soul.

Past memories flashed through Elwyn's mind like a slideshow, from far to near.

He knew of a black magic that worked on the soul, but he couldn't remember anything.

Elwyn remembered coming to Hogwarts, creating a newspaper, working together with Harry to defeat the snake monster, returning to the castle a thousand years ago, helping Sirius Black to capture the little heart Peter, his first date with Hermione, and researching magic in the middle of the night. The memories became clearer the further he went.

Then, he remembered the conversation he had with Gryffindor.

And the pair of gigantic eyes he saw outside the temple, they were similarly shrouded in fog, but that feeling was much more intense than now.

He still remembered what he did, without hesitation, Elwyn raised his wand and shouted. "Call Guardian Deity!"

The sudden appearance of the guardian dispelled all the negative emotions, Elwyn realized he was still in the centaur temple, and there was no fog around him at all.

His shoulder was tightly gripped by a monster's sharp claws, and it was currently shoving his head into its huge mouth filled with sharp teeth.

Under the effect of Elwyn's guardian, a white barrier expanded outwards.

The three monsters' movements became sluggish, they instinctively wanted to escape, but before they could do anything, they were violently sent flying by the centaur.

The spear in Ugart's hand fiercely stabbed into the bodies of the three monsters, messing them up. Large amounts of flesh and blood scattered everywhere, and the passage was filled with green blood.
