Sheyan then opened his eyes, and naturally propped himself up. Instead, an excruciating pain transmitted from his chest, causing him to yell out as he collapsed back onto the ground, gasping for air!
That sensation,
That excruciating pain from his shattered sternum, directly caused large beads of cold sweat to seep out from Sheyan's forehead. After panting for a while, he finally calmed down. He tried his best to calm his breathing, feeling as though there was some sort of solid rope supporting his body. Yet, there was a peculiar swing-like sensation. He couldn't help but sweep a glance to the side, and immediately shut his eyes to adapt to the slight dizziness.
As it turns out, below Sheyan was still a bottomless abyss! Roughly 50 metres below him, a dense layer of hazy fog was enshrouding, completely unable to see the bottom. Similarly, above Sheyan was similarly shrouded in dense fog. Sheyan was currently in the middle of a gigantic web. The silk strands forming the web were only as thick as a finger, and seemed to be congealed from a deep black colloid. It was extremely tough, and had a slight stickiness to it.
Roughly 3 metres away from Sheyan, a huge hole was punctured in the gigantic net. Evidently, the damage was caused by the magic knight statue falling from above. Its terrifying weight had obviously exceeded the capacity of the spider web, and thus, it couldn't enjoy the fate of hanging in a hammock with Sheyan.
An indescribable fishy stench permeated the air. Sheyan gritted his teeth, as he strenuously attempted to free his left hand from the sticky web. Ultimately, he was unable to do so. Helpless, he could only tear off his stuck sleeve. Fortunately, Sheyan quickly discovered that the stickiness of the spider web was only effective against fur and the like. A human's skin was only slightly sticky. Thus, he quickly stripped himself down to a pair of shorts. Clutching his chest, he endured the excruciating pain as he slowly inched towards the cliff wall.
In the present world, Sheyan had seen countless of lonely insect shells hanging on spider webs. These were the products of the spider's digestive juices after being anesthetized. It was like a cola bottle that had been sucked dry. Sheyan definitely didn't wish for such a tragic fate to befall him, thus he had to take advantage of the fact that the creator of this gigantic spider web hadn't come to inspect his territory and quickly leave.
A mere 20 metres of distance, Sheyan took close to 10 minutes to crawl. His head was filled with cold sweat, and his expression was extremely ugly. This was mainly caused by the ferocious head-on collision with the magic statue knight. The might of that knight's lance charge was definitely not inferior to the mountain troll's home run!
Under normal circumstances, when a contestant faced this type of magic knight, it would normally be in a bloody chessboard protected by layers of rules. It definitely wouldn't be like before where he charged forward and thrust with his lance. Sheyan actually met this type of knight under such circumstances, his luck was extremely bad.
With great difficulty, Sheyan managed to escape from that gigantic spider web. He stabilized himself on the protruding cliff wall and panted. Suddenly, he felt a sharp pain in his head. Their fangs were shockingly 20 cm long, and were covered with dark yellow markings. Droplets of mucus dripped down, causing one to be filled with fear. But no matter how frantically they struggled, their fur was tightly stuck to the extremely resilient spider web. Sheyan could strip off his clothes and rely on a human's smooth skin to escape, but they couldn't possibly rip off their own skin to escape!

Strangely, Sheyan couldn't sense any threat from this ferocious beast of a spider! Instead, he felt a sense of safety and peace. Sheyan groaned in despair. Although this was his first time encountering such a situation, but in such a desperate situation, even if he used his toes, he could imagine that this terrifying spider's perceptive sense far exceeded Sheyan's. It had even started to mislead Sheyan's senses, preventing him from escaping!

While browsing through this series of descriptions, Sheyan once again felt the key within his imprint – Infinite's severed finger – starting to heat up. Moreover, this terrifying spider 'Breath of Death' wasn't idle, it easily used its sharp, gigantic and terrifying venomous fangs to bite down on the blood-sucking bats, ending their incessant fluttering lives. Its digestive juices were exceptionally potent, as long as it was injected into its prey, it would immediately take effect. It would decompose the flesh into a nutritious liquid, and very quickly suck it clean.
Sheyan was originally a careless person, but once he thought of being sucked like a pepsi cola by this incomparably savage spider, his scalp couldn't help but turn numb. If that was the case, he might as well jump down, and directly fall to his death!
