Sheyan didn't know if it was due to the mechanism failing, or if there was no mechanism at all. Sheyan's journey was uneventful. After roughly a few hundred metres, a massive stone door appeared in front of him. The stone door was engraved with grand and boundless ancient epic war diagrams. It clearly displayed the glory of the founding of a nation, and the vicissitudes of its demise. Mysterious and ancient Hebrew characters were still inscribed in the center of the door. If Phil was still alive, he would be able to recognize the meaning of the words:
The Door of Wisdom.
Sheyan wanted to approach the massive door for a closer inspection, but suddenly felt his foot slip, as though he had stepped on something. He abruptly woke up, but immediately realized the stone slab beneath his feet was sliding towards the massive door at high speed! It felt like he was on a conveyor belt. Such a sudden occurrence was completely out of his expectations, and his perceptive sense didn't alert him. Sheyan could only watch helplessly as he slammed into the massive door. Just as he was about to slam into it, the massive door suddenly rumbled upwards. Accumulated sand and stones crashed down, bringing Sheyan in.
Sheyan fell down from high up, and hastily crouched down to protect himself. However, it didn't seem like a mechanism, but merely a method to bring him here. When Sheyan stood up and surveyed his surroundings, he sighed.
He heaved a deep sigh.
Beneath his feet, was a square of white, at least 3 x 3 metres in size. The white was surrounded by black, and the colors were disorderly and picturesque. In front of him, was shockingly a row of familiar-looking gigantic white statues. They were the statues of soldiers he had encountered before, including kings, queens, bishops and knights! They were all neatly arranged in front of him!
At present, Sheyan was shockingly standing in the middle of a massive chessboard!
This was the final hurdle of the metal digestion system.
A bloody trial of … … .magic chess!
Sheyan attempted, and discovered that this place was indeed covered by a powerful arcane interference, and was unable to utilize his abilities. He attempted to move forward, but was blocked by an invisible barrier in the middle of the chessboard. The weapons of the chess pieces opposite him were probably protected by magic, as they glowed with a chilling light, and specks of blackened blood stains could be seen. Sheyan glanced at the bottom of the chessboard, and instantly saw piles of white bones.
Obviously, only by defeating the opponent in front of him would he be qualified to move on. What was even more terrifying was that Sheyan's side didn't have any chess pieces. This meant that they had to use living people as chess pieces, using their lives and flesh to play this game of chess. To be able to reach this stage, they must have gone through untold hardships and were brimming with ambition. But to win this game of chess, it meant that someone would die, and someone would be abandoned as a chess piece!
Therefore, in this game of Magic Chess, not only did they have to play against the combat sculptures, they also had to play against the craftsmen who had set up this mechanism thousands of years ago. More importantly, they had to play against their companions who had accompanied them through life and death to reach this place!
Thinking of the difficulties he had to face this time, Sheyan had no confidence at all. He could only smile bitterly. But speaking of despair, that wasn't the case. As the saying goes, a hundred secrets have a careless mistake. The craftsmen who designed this mechanism probably didn't expect that there would be a barrier that could withstand the terrifying metal storm of the 2nd level. The arcane barrier here had been operating for a full 5000 years. If Sheyan could lure those crazy magical keys from the second checkpoint here, then with their terrifying attack speed and destructive capabilities that could ignore all defenses, they might be able to destroy the barrier.
Thinking of that, Sheyan became excited as he started climbing towards the back of the chessboard. Over there, there was an obvious' Exit 'pathway. He reckoned that the person who designed this mechanism didn't intend to be ruthless, but hoped that the intruder would know the difficulty and retreat. But when he climbed to the top of the platform and looked back, his heart suddenly stirred. Because at the back of the group of Magic Chess pieces, not even 30 metres away, there was a small room. There was nothing in the room, only an ordinary stone platform. On top of the stone platform was a hastily tied thick canvas money bag. Behind the money bag should be the main entrance of the goblins, it occasionally sparkled with a strange radiance.
Without a doubt! Looking at the plot of the movie, this object's characteristics were similar to the philosopher's stone that Hagrid obtained. Inside should be the philosopher's stone that he had painstakingly searched for. At this moment, Sheyan was already far away from the chessboard, and the arcane disruption had already lost its effect. To verify the identity of the philosopher's stone, he activated his' insight 'ability.
Because the distance was too far, Sheyan's' insight 'ability failed consecutively, and only succeeded after the 8th time! But when the nightmare imprint notified him, he suddenly felt like vomiting blood.

"What ….. what the f * * k!" Sheyan's vision darkened, cursing out loud.
"40 points of intelligence requirement, or rather requires approval to bring it out of this world! Whose approval? Most likely it's Dumbledore! Then what's the point of risking my life to obtain it? Even the path of giving gifts to people to please storyline characters was blocked! The Metals professor most likely has the requirements, but how can I do it alone? "
Sheyan sighed loudly as he walked forward. But he still intended to lure those crazy flying magic keys over. Even if he couldn't use it, he could still hide it somewhere, and think of a way the next time he enters this world. But at this moment, a huge sense of danger assaulted him from the front! Sheyan's heart cursed, as he hurriedly rolled out. His vision was filled with a strong gust of wind, ferociously blowing against his face. With a loud boom, the stone wall in front of him exploded, as rocks scattered across the ground. Amidst the dust, a 3 metre tall pure white magic statue charged out with a spear and a horse. With an indescribable speed, it was shockingly a knight from the international magic chess game.
Fortunately, his perceptive sense warned him in advance, allowing Sheyan to evade the most powerful thrust of the lance in time! But his calf was trampled by the horse's hooves, instantly feeling a heart-wrenching pain! Sheyan's vision darkened. He was just praising the craftsman for his benevolence and magnanimity for not being ruthless. Who would have thought that the craftsman had actually laid down such a fatal trap at this moment! Sheyan's eyes darkened as he thought to himself.
Seizing the opportunity where the knight needed time to turn his horse around, Sheyan frantically tried his best to limp forward. Yet behind him, the galloping sounds of the reaper's drums could be heard once again. This passageway was perfectly straight, there was nowhere to hide! The knight's attack was terrifyingly high. Even with his 31 points of physique, Sheyan didn't dare to be arrogant. In a moment of desperation, Sheyan noticed the huge hole left behind by the knight when it broke through the wall. He couldn't care less, as he directly dove in.
Behind him, a gust of wind whizzed past, obviously the knight had charged in once again. Feeling the ground beneath his feet faintly trembling, Sheyan didn't dare to slack off in the slightest. He could feel a string of goosebumps erupting from his back. Noticing that there was still space in front of this hole, he punched and kicked with all his might. Then, he dug out a gap and squeezed in. However, in his panic, he suddenly realized that his extended leg was dangling in the air. Hastily, he couldn't help but stretch his head to look down. Instantly, he sucked in a breath of cold air!
As it turns out, below him was actually a bottomless abyss. Through the hazy radiance emitted from the nearby rocks, he could see that the passageway he was in was shockingly a long and narrow sealed arched bridge. Like a rainbow flying in from the heavens, it traversed thousands of zhang and connected to the two ends of the abyss! One of his feet was suspended in the endless void.
Sheyan was about to turn around and search for another escape route, when the ground rumbled once again! Turning back, he witnessed that pure white magic statue knight mercilessly spurring his horse forward with his lance, as he frantically charged towards him at breakneck speed!
"You … ….." Sheyan's pupils contracted. Under such an urgent situation, he could only protect his chest from being struck by the knight. Without any suspense, the lance pierced into Sheyan's chest. The immense pain caused Sheyan's vision to turn black as he fainted. How could the wall behind him withstand such a tremendous force? Instantly, it shattered into pieces, as it splashed outwards!
The shattered rock walls, Sheyan's contorted face from the agony, the fresh blood he vomited, the expressionless face of the knight statue, the deep darkness of the background and the rocky passageway that seemed to fly in from the heavens, all became exceptionally clear in this instance. Time seemed to have frozen for a moment, before swiftly returning to normal as it started to move.
With a resounding crash, that callous killing machine of an enchanted knight statue, the shattered brick wall and the unconscious Sheyan, plummeted into the bottomless abyss below! (To be continued.
