Could time stand still? Angor did not know, but he did know that time could stand still under certain conditions.

However, time in the Nightmare Realm was still flowing, while time in the real world had stopped. This completely violated Angor's understanding of physics.

Was this strange phenomenon caused by the different laws of physics, or did the Nightmare Realm and the real world not exist in the same timeline?

Angor only thought about it for a few seconds. The ripples on the Twisting Protozoa's body kept spreading out, forming a spider-web-like crack that slowly spread outwards. That kind of extended pattern was like using a hammer to shatter space like a piece of glass.

Sunders narrowed his eyes. He took out a sharp knife from his pocket and quickly cut the Twisting Protozoa into two. He tossed one to Angor and held the other in his hand.

"Time's up! Run into the crack! " Sunders did a somersault and rushed forward. "Keep this half of the Twisting Protozoa close to you. It's the proof of our return! If you lose it, you'll be lost in the Nightmare Realm. "

Half of Sunders' body disappeared into the "spider web". "Remember, go to the coordinates and wait for —"

Angor's mind went blank. The flow of time in the Nightmare Realm was different from that in the real world. Angor was afraid that he would miss Sunders if he was too slow. Therefore, he didn't think about anything and directly rushed into the spatial crack.

As soon as Angor touched the crack, a strange numbness spread from his scalp to his entire body, through his neck, hands, chest, waist, and finally to his toes.

When the numbness disappeared, Angor felt as if he had shed a layer of skin, or a baby who was curled up in the womb and was given a new life after the amniotic fluid broke out. It was a wonderful and comfortable feeling. Before Angor could think about it, he found his feet on the ground.

He remembered that his teacher kept mentioning "the Nightmare Realm is dangerous". Angor quickly stopped thinking about it and opened his eyes to check his surroundings.

Angor was startled when he opened his eyes.

A large, strange face came into view. Its eyebrows were two red dots, and its eyes were like copper bells, but it only had one eye. It had no nose bridge and only two nostrils. It had a thick white beard, and its mouth was completely covered by the beard. More importantly, the creature only had a head. It had no limbs or torso, but its head alone was already taller than Angor.

The face stared at Angor in confusion and hopped up and down from time to time. Angor had no idea how it did that without limbs.

The head monster seemed to be very curious about him and hopped closer to him. Angor, on the other hand, slowly backed away.

Suddenly, Angor felt his back touching a soft wall. Out of instinct, he turned his hand around and felt something warm coming from it.

Angor froze. This feeling …

He slowly turned his head, and when he saw that there was another monster with a skull behind him, his heart was filled with fear. Angor noticed that his hand was still on the monster's face.

The two monsters surrounded him from the front and the back. He felt like crying but no tears came out. Why was he so unlucky? He ran into a monster as soon as he entered the Nightmare Realm! And he just happened to be in the middle of two monsters!

Angor watched the monsters slowly approaching him. He did not know how strong they were, but he knew he had no way to fight them. He did not have Toby to save the "beauty" either, so he had only one choice: turn around and run!

Angor found an opening and dashed out of the encirclement. He quickly realized something was wrong. It was as if he did not feel gravity. Every time he took a bigger step, he would float in the air. It was exactly the same as when he tested his talent in Padt Manor.

He didn't have the time to figure out why he was floating in the air. Instead, he focused on climbing higher. He didn't believe that the monsters could still fly.

When he was about ten meters above the ground, he realized he was in a strange place. There was no sky above his head. Instead, it was a thick stone wall.

Angor looked at the thick stone wall and suddenly had a bad feeling. Did he get teleported into a sewer maze?!

Angor took a deep breath and comforted himself. No, it can't be. He must be in an indoor building right now. That must be it!

Angor looked down at the monsters. To his surprise, the two monsters did not chase him at all. They just stayed where they were and looked at Angor in confusion, as if they did not know why he was running. If punctuation marks could be visualized, Angor believed that the monsters would have three big question marks above their heads.

"Huh? That's strange. Why aren't the monsters chasing me? "Angor stopped in the air and thought to himself. He remembered Sunders saying that all living creatures in the Nightmare Realm would go crazy and hunt down intruders. What's going on with these two then? Why was he completely unmoved? Could it be that there was some kind of trap?

Angor did not bother to think about the reason. He began to observe the surroundings and look for landmarks so that he could reach the coordinates given by Sunders as soon as possible.

Angor looked around in the air. To his disappointment, he was surrounded by tall stone walls. There were stone walls above him, and there were stone walls on his left and right. There was only one passage connecting the front and back.

This made Angor even more suspicious. Was he really teleported into a maze?

If he was really in the sewer maze, then he would have hit the jackpot. Sunders gave Angor seven coordinates. Six of them were easy to find. They were on the ground and had obvious landmarks nearby. There was only one coordinate, and it was in the underground maze. And this coordinate was — —

The center of the maze. It was the exit of the maze, and also the place where the channeling method book was kept.

The passages in the maze were unpredictable, and there were countless monsters in there. Sunders could crush them with his strength, but Angor could not. He did not expect Angor to be so unlucky as to find his starting point in the underground maze.

He flew along the tunnel behind the two monsters. Soon, the light disappeared, and he was surrounded by darkness. He could not even see his own fingers. Angor stopped in the air and realized that he could not even tell which direction he was going.

He did not know which direction he came from.

Angor's heart was beating like a drum. In the absolute darkness, even the sound of his blood flowing inside his body sounded like a rushing river.

Angor remembered that the stone wall above him was smooth. He decided to fly up to the wall first and find his way forward. He could not guarantee that there were no monsters on the wall, but he believed that the chance of encountering monsters on the ground was higher.
