"What's the situation over there? Who took you away?" Sunders' expression was calm, but his voice sounded urgent.

"I don't know. I'll try my best to find a way out."

Angor was currently at the top of Heaven's Tower in the dream wasteland.

A minute ago, he entered the dream wasteland after making sure that there was no danger around him for the time being. His plan was to ask Freud to leave a message for Sunders so that he wouldn't have to worry about his safety.

To Angor's surprise, as soon as he stepped into the dream wasteland, Sunders showed up at Firmament Tower.

That was why Angor told Sunders about his current situation.

"… I can't tell if the mushroom garden I'm in is dangerous or not. I have to go back now." Angor set up some simple defenses around the garden before entering the dream, but he wasn't sure if they would be able to protect him from danger.

Sunders was still worried about Angor's safety, but he didn't want to show it in front of Angor. "Your safety is the most important thing. Keep in touch."

"I understand." Angor nodded.

With that, Angor vanished from Freud's office in the blink of an eye. Only Sanders, who was deep in thought, and Freud, who had no idea what was going on.

Angor opened his eyes again.

He checked his body first, then checked his surroundings to make sure there were no other creatures nearby. Only then did he put away the defensive alchemy items around him.

Next, he saw three palm-sized, emerald green mushrooms huddled together under his feet. They looked like a cluster of green flowers, which made them look quite cute.

"I didn't see them before …" Angor reached out a hand to touch the cap of one of the mushrooms.

As soon as his finger touched the smooth cap, the green mushroom under his finger emitted a joyful emotion.

The green mushroom began to wiggle its head and rubbed itself against Angor's finger as if it was really happy. The other mushrooms, to Angor's surprise, pulled themselves out of the ground and rubbed themselves against Angor's hand like little people.

They were trying to please Angor.

For a moment, the three little fellows that had disguised themselves as motionless mushrooms all revealed their true forms.

Clearly, all three mushrooms showed up around him while he was dreaming. To Angor's surprise, they did not trigger any defense mechanism. Why?

He looked around and did not see any footprints. Did they grow out of the ground?

He didn't sense any hostility from the mushrooms, but he still raised his guard. He had entered the dream too casually just now. In the future, before he could figure out the specific situation of an unfamiliar environment, it was best to give up on entering the dream. After all, it was impossible for him to be so lucky every time.

Angor looked at the three green mushrooms that were eager to be touched. He hesitated for a moment and reached out his hand to touch their mushroom caps.

The three little fellows immediately began to shake their heads in joy.

He didn't know why they were so happy. Or did they think that they were also a big mushroom?

The emotions of the mushrooms were very weak. Angor could tell that they were even less intelligent than the rainbow dragonflies, so he didn't plan to get any information from them. After patting their heads, he stood up and prepared to leave.

Angor was a little speechless when the three green mushrooms saw him leaving. They quickly hopped into the ground gracefully as if the ground was a swimming pool for them.

Not long after, the three emerald green mushrooms appeared beneath his feet once again.

Angor didn't know what to say. He thought they already left. Did they just stick to him?

Angor had no choice but to touch them again to tell them that he was going to leave. But this time, the mushrooms became even more eager. They followed him wherever he went and would shake their heads whenever they showed up.

In the end, he simply ignored them and let them show up on the ground.

Angor's main goal now was to leave this place. He didn't know the way, but he didn't wander around randomly. He was heading in the direction where the female who hugged him disappeared.

Even if the woman was a highly intelligent nightmare creature, she did not hurt Angor, so he might be able to get some information out of her.

Otherwise, it would be very difficult to find a way out of this strange mushroom garden.

Angor walked for about three or four minutes. Apart from the three green mushrooms under his feet, he didn't see any other creatures or danger.

But the mushrooms here were really strange. Like the one beside Angor.

It was so tall that it reached the clouds like a giant tree. Angor had never heard of such a tall mushroom before.

Angor patted the mushroom's body. It felt sturdy and had a unique fragrance. Angor couldn't help but think of the cream of mushroom soup made by Head Maid Mana.

"I feel like eating mushrooms now," Angor mumbled as he walked forward.

However, he didn't notice that when his figure disappeared, a crack had appeared in the middle of the huge mushroom that he thought was harmless. The crack was filled with sharp teeth, and between the teeth, some bones could be vaguely seen.

Angor walked for another ten minutes and came to a small stream.

It was a bit of a stretch to call it a stream. The water in the stream was pink. There was also a thin layer of pink mist on the water surface.

The colorful mushroom forest seemed to complement each other quite well.

Angor knew that curiosity killed the cat. Since he knew that his goal was to leave this place, he would try to stay as far away from dangerous places as possible. For example, this unknown stream.

Angor opened an Illusion Gate and went from one end of the stream to the other.

When he landed on the ground, the three green mushrooms came out of the ground at the same time.

How did they cross the stream?

Angor didn't think too much about it and kept moving forward. After crossing the stream, Angor went over a small hill and saw the first strange creature apart from the mushrooms.

It was a bee wearing a pink apron and a pink hat.
