Angor had never let his guard down in this strange ruin. Even so, he didn't expect to be attacked by an unknown creature as soon as he left the water ripple.

But it was better than he thought.

The force coming from the front was fierce, but Angor's reaction was fast enough. He reacted almost as soon as he felt the wind coming from it.

Angor took a step back and leaned his back against the wall to avoid the attack.

However, he believed that there would be a second wave of attacks. He quickly activated a defensive spell and cast a level-2 cantrip called "Dispel Confusion" in his mind space. Even though he managed to dodge the first wave, he still couldn't see what the attacker looked like.

The first step was to figure out where the enemy was. There were many cantrips that could reveal the enemy's figure, such as Pig's Nose, Truesight, Echolocation, and so on. Either Angor didn't learn any of them, or they were too advanced and took too much time to construct. After considering all the options, "Dispel Confusion" was the fastest cantrip he could come up with, and it did have the ability to see through illusions.

As Angor tensed up to look for the monster hiding in the water ripple, a pair of nearly transparent hands suddenly reached out from the wall behind him.

Angor was busy constructing the "Dispel Confusion" spell while keeping his eyes on the water ripple. He didn't notice that something strange was happening to the wall behind him.

Sunders, on the other hand, noticed it. He quickly pointed a finger at the wall behind Angor and released a beam of light. At the same time, he shouted, "Leave this place!"

However, everything was a step too late. Angor only saw Sunders shouting at him while casting a nightmare illusion at his position. Before he knew what Sunders meant, the wall behind him suddenly became soft like water ripples. The wall he was leaning against suddenly disappeared.

Angor finally realized that something was wrong. He quickly adjusted his center of gravity and tried to move away from the wall. But before he could, a pair of transparent hands reached out from behind him and wrapped around him.

With an extremely gentle movement, he gently pulled back.

His entire body sank into the wall and disappeared as if he was submerged in water.

Only after Angor disappeared did Sunders' light finally touch the wall. However, the strong dim light did not cause any damage to the wall. Only a wisp of green smoke could be seen dissipating.

Sunders quickly approached the wall and transformed his right hand into a golden mantis scythe. It was the scythe of the Phantom Mantis he transplanted into his right hand. Sunders activated his bloodline and swung the scythe at the wall with great force.

The huge force finally caused damage to the wall.

There was a hole in the wall, but there was nothing behind the hole. It was still a wall made of earth and stone.

However, a terrifying energy began to leak out from the hole.

This was the energy of the void!

Although he did not completely break through the wall, the appearance of Void Energy meant that there was a violent Void behind the wall. A large amount of energy in the void interacted with the energy in the passageway, and a terrifying energy vortex was about to be formed.

Suddenly, something flickered behind the water ripples.

A silver-haired Iron Granny suddenly showed up beside Sunders. Without saying anything, she took out something that looked like soft mud and sealed the hole in the wall.

As the hole was sealed, the violent energy around the wall slowly calmed down.

From Angor being forced to dodge, to the two hands dragging him away, to Sunders destroying the wall, and to Iron Granny's appearance, it all took less than three seconds.

Everything happened in a split second.

"If we use Void Energy, the ruin will become even more complicated." "Angor will be fine." Iron Granny tried to comfort Angor by saying something that even she herself couldn't believe.

Iron Granny was guarding outside the Astral Pool and saw everything that happened inside the passageway.

Sunders quickly calmed down after his furious attack on the wall.

"Yes, Angor will be fine. No nightmare creature will harm him. No one will dare to do so. " Sunders' words might sound like a joke to Iron Granny, but Sunders meant it seriously.

Sunders didn't explain anything to Iron Granny. Instead, he looked around the water ripples.

Just like Angor, Sunders had been keeping an eye on the surroundings to avoid any potential danger. But to his surprise, Angor was still attacked in the end.

Angor didn't see who attacked him, but Sunders did.

While Angor was only using his senses to sense the danger, Sunders was using his spirit power to observe the surroundings at all times.

When Angor was about to reach the water ripples, he saw a soft creature that looked like a snot monster suddenly appeared out of nowhere and blocked Angor's path.

It was this snot monster that Angor could only see with his spirit power.

Sunders was no stranger to this snot monster. It was a creature that lived in the void. Due to its incredible speed and tendency to wander in the void, it was known as a "Void Traveler".

After being hit by Angor, the Void Traveler attacked Angor out of reflex.

That was why Angor sensed the tremendous force coming from it.

In other words, it was this Void Traveler that appeared out of nowhere that caused Angor to be swallowed by the wall.

Sunders immediately used his spirit power to restrain the creature.

At this moment, the Void Traveler was tied up by a rope made of mental strength. It was struggling in front of the water ripples, but it couldn't move at all. It looked rather pitiful.

Sunders walked to the Void Traveler and stared at the tiny, transparent creature with a cold look.

He reached out his hand and removed the mental shackles on the Void Traveler. Then, he directly crossed the physical world and firmly grasped the Void Traveler in his hand.

The Void Traveler kept changing its shape and tried to escape, but to no avail. It was like a kitten that was chained by the back of its neck. It couldn't fight back at all.

"Is this the Void Traveler?" Iron Granny looked at the creature in Sunders' hand.

Sunders nodded. "Yes, it is."

As soon as he finished speaking, he clenched his fist, and the Void Traveler in his hand instantly exploded.
