Chapter 333

Words:1971Update:22/06/28 11:33:58

Report

The vampires had always been mysterious, gloomy, and powerful.

Apart from the dragons, the vampires were almost the greatest deterrent to human beings.

However, the dragons were too unpredictable. Some people might not even see them once in their entire lives.

The vampires, on the other hand, depended on human beings. Although they had the Priests of Light as their nemesis, they lived a good life with all kinds of special abilities. Also, their race was slowly growing.

As hunters, they had always despised human beings.

After all, no creature would think highly of their food.

Even the Saint Samurai and the Priests of Light didn't regard them as prey, but as dreadful creatures that they tried to destroy.

They valued human beings. So, even though they had natural enemies like the Saint Samurai, they didn't feel that they were inferior to human beings.

But what was going on with the Golden Sons?

There was no fear or dread in their eyes. There was only one thing in their eyes … it was as if they were looking at an exquisite young lady or a drop of exquisite blood.

It was the way they looked at food.

After realizing that, Bruce was infuriated.

"Everybody, increase your magic power output and kill them all! I don't believe that they can be resurrected infinitely!"

The other vampires realized what was going on as well as Bruce did.

Therefore, a feeling of being offended appeared in their minds, followed by unwarranted anger.

The vampires, who were used to looking down on human beings, were excited for the first time.

They poured out all their magic power, and the vampires who had run out of magic power even unsheathed their longswords and lunged at the Golden Sons on the ground.

Bruce, on the other hand, increased the output of his magic power too. The black tornado grew larger and faster.

More and more players were sucked in, and then cut into pieces of minced meat and tossed out.

At some point, the ground was covered in blood.

But the blood was soon burnt into black mud by magic flames. As long as a Vampire fell from the sky, the players who had been waiting for a long time would pounce on it like wild wolves. Even if they were hit by magic, even if they were slashed by swords, they would hold the Vampire tightly and press it to the ground.

Then, they would shout, "I've stalled him. Who's going to burn him?"

Following which, the melee players would roll to the side, and players would immediately come to help them extinguish the flames when they rolled to the side.

And the burning vampire will be surrounded by more magical flames.

In just a few minutes, it would be burnt into bone dust, and then a group of people would rush over to 'suck' the bone dust.

Bruce saw with his own eyes that a melee Golden Son was blown into halves by magic, but he was still crawling forward with his hands, his intestines and internal organs on the ground disgustingly. While crawling, he shouted, "For the sake of the disabled, leave some for me. I've lost my legs. Even if I don't make any contributions, I'll at least be grateful."

Then, the Golden Son crawled to the vampire who had just been burnt into bone powder and successfully sucked in a handful of bone powder. Then, he laughed three times and died with a twist of his head.

When Bruce saw this, he became even angrier, but he also felt a chill.

He increased the output of his magic power again, and the black tornado grew a lot bigger. Then, he waved his left hand, and another black tornado appeared.

As a result, the death rate of the players skyrocketed, and even many vampires were affected.

Outside of the Curtain of Darkness, Roland saw that many players were resurrected from simple rituals.

Then, a player who looked like a commander roared, "The boss's secondary skill has been activated. It's probably halfway done. Keep it up, everybody!"

The players cheered again and charged into the Curtain of Darkness in excitement.

Outside of the mountain, more players were coming.

"Oh no, we can't have meat anymore. Let's drink some soup."

A team of players screamed and ran past Roland and Yelia.

"Are you really not going to go down and take a look?" asked Yelia.

"That's unnecessary." Roland shook his head. "If it were a Legend, it wouldn't matter how many people there are, but it's just a Master vampire without a Legend. They'll probably escape in half an hour."

"So, those people on the mountain are waiting for the vampires to escape?" Yelia pointed at the players who were standing on the mountains around the basin.

"I think so."

At this moment, almost all the mountains around the basin were filled with people.

Most of them came very late, so they didn't go in to join in the fun. Instead, they stayed on the mountain top.

After the vampires turned into bats, they could fly fast, but they couldn't fly high enough.

If they wanted to escape, they would have to fly over the mountains, which would only be a dozen or several meters above the ground.

The Archers and Rogues casting nets could even catch them with their eyes closed.

It was called waiting for the hare.

In the Curtain of Darkness, Bruce's two black tornadoes killed too many players.

This area-of-effect spell was very lethal and powerful.

Even a well-trained army would've collapsed at this moment.

However, the Golden Sons were charging in from outside the Curtain of Darkness incessantly.

Also, they seemed to have gotten used to the rhythm of the battle and were counterattacking more and more fiercely.

More and more vampires were dragged to the ground and burnt into powder.

Bruce finally realized that he had made a fatal mistake.

Why should he be angry at a bunch of unkillable monsters?

At this moment, less than half of his people had been killed.

They had all been burnt into ashes.

His bloodshot eyes glowed again, and the two tornadoes swirled at a high speed, blowing away a lot of players.

He opened his mouth and bared his long fangs, letting out a shriek.

The shriek was harsh, but it echoed all over the battlefield.

Many vampires were stunned for a moment before they turned into bats and flew up.

"They're escaping!" a player shouted. "How can they do that? They're all gold coins! Who can stop them?"

At least thirty nets were tossed into the air, as well as countless arrows and magic missiles.

Unfortunately, only three vampires were unlucky enough to be caught in the nets. The other arrows and magic missiles only hit a few bats.

Bruce looked at the valley that was almost filled with the flesh and blood of the Golden Sons, his eyes full of pain.

This was their home where they had lived for hundreds of years, but they didn't expect that they would be forced to leave their home by a bunch of monsters!

"I'll be back very soon."

Bruce looked at the castle down below with nostalgia. Then, he turned into countless big bats and flew to the sky.

"The boss is escaping too?"

The players down below looked at each other in bewilderment.

Although they were prepared for this game to be completely different from the ones they had played before, they still found it hard to accept the boss's escape.

Fifty points!

But when Bruce was halfway through his flight, he suddenly realized that something was wrong.

Bats rained down from the sky, and the clansmen who had flown away earlier fell to the ground with arrows stuck in their bodies, or were thrown down by fishing nets.

What happened?

Bruce charged out of the Curtain of Darkness, only to see a circle of Golden Sons standing on the top of the crater.

When did this happen?

Bruce suddenly remembered what Wenger had said: at least a thousand Golden Sons would come.

There were more than a thousand here!

Roland, on the other hand, pursed his lips at the sight of the big black bats. "It's my turn to attack."
