Description:
SCP-049 was a humanoid entity. It was 1.9 meters tall and looked like a medieval bird-beaked doctor.
SCP-049 wore a long black robe and a bird-beaked mask. In reality, the mask and clothing were part of SCP-049's body.
SCP-049 could speak many languages, but tended to use English or medieval French.
Under normal circumstances, SCP-049 was friendly and willing to cooperate with the foundation personnel. However, if it sensed the presence of a "plague", it would become irritable and even aggressive.
SCP-049 was able to stop all biological functions of a living being through direct skin contact. The reason for this was still unknown. The autopsy of SCP-049's victims was inconclusive.
SCP-049 would usually perform crude surgery on the corpses. The surgery would often result in the appearance of SCP-049-2, but it would not always be "successful".
SCP-049-2 was a corpse that had been resurrected by SCP-049's surgery.
These entities did not seem to retain their original memories or mental functions. They only had basic motor abilities and reaction mechanisms. However, if they were angered or received orders from SCP-049, they could become aggressive.
SCP-049 would always claim that these entities had been "cured".
Special Containment Measures:
SCP-049 must be contained in a standard safe humanoid containment unit. Before attempting to transport SCP-049, it must be tranquilized and monitored by at least two armed guards.
Although SCP-049 would normally cooperate with most foundation personnel, it must be dealt with with with increased force when it suddenly had an outburst or a change in its behavior.
Under no circumstances are any personnel allowed to come into direct contact with SCP-049 during an outburst.
If SCP-049 showed signs of aggression, it could be controlled with the tranquilizing effect of lavender.
Once tranquilized, SCP-049 would usually become docile and would return to its containment state without any resistance.
