Remembering that Qiao Anhao was still waiting for him in the living room, he abruptly stood up, kicked the chair behind him, and hurriedly walked to the bedroom door. The moment he pulled it open, he saw Qiao Anhao lying on the sofa, watching a movie on her iPad. She was probably afraid that she would disturb his work, so the iPad's volume was lowered.
