All of a sudden, the creatures gathered at the foot of Mount Kunlun swarmed into the formation to test their temperament. They hoped to jump out of the formation and become the disciple of Sage Yuanshi. They wanted to learn the Yuqing Technique and cultivate the Dharma Body of Immortals. From then on, they could live freely between heaven and earth. More importantly, they could rely on the backing of the Sage, which would give them an extra layer of protection.

However, the illusory formation set up by the Sage was so powerful that most of the people who entered the formation to test their temperament were trapped in the formation without knowing it. Only thirteen cultivators relied on great perseverance and wisdom to climb mountains and cross rivers. They relied on their extraordinary talents and tenacious temperament to jump out of the formation and came to the front of Sage Yuanshi.

These thirteen people were the Burning Lamp, Guang Chengzi, Ju Liusun, Manjushri, Samantabhadra, Cihang Taoist, Daohang, Lingbao, Qingxu, Taiyi, Yuding, Chijingzi, and Huanglong. Yuanshi was very satisfied to see these thirteen people. However, when he saw the Burning Lamp, he was stunned.

The Burning Lamp was an innate spiritual coffin that was formed at the beginning of heaven and earth. Its original form was a huge spiritual coffin. Because the spiritual coffin corresponded to the celestial phenomena, there was a spiritual lamp burning at the end of the spiritual coffin all year round. Therefore, the cultivator formed by the innate spiritual coffin was called the Burning Lamp Taoist.

At this time, the Burning Lamp was already in the late stage of Daluo Jinxian. Moreover, he was one of the three thousand Mortal Guests who listened to the sermon with Yuanshi in the Purple Cloud Palace. However, he was only in the early stage of Daluo Jinxian. Yuanshi did not expect that he would also come to be apprenticed.

Yuanshi calculated with his fingers. The Burning Lamp did indeed have a master-disciple relationship with him, but at the very least, they were people who had attended the Purple Cloud Palace together. Although Yuanshi had now become a Saint, it was not an exaggeration to call him a Daoist Friend to the Burning Lamp. If he accepted him as his disciple, he did not know how to arrange it.

Yuanshi could only say to the Burning Lamp: "Daoist Friend of the Burning Lamp, you and I were both in the Purple Cloud Palace listening to Daozu's preaching, how can I accept you as my disciple? My Daoist Friend already has the cultivation of Daluo Jinxian, why do you need me to learn my Yuqing Celestial Method? This is really a disgrace to my Daoist Friend's identity." As the saying goes, one does not slap a smiling face. Since the Burning Lamp had put down his pride to become his disciple, Yuanshi naturally could not be impolite.

The Burning Lamp bowed and said: "Saint above, the Burning Lamp is only a Daluo Jinxian, how can I dare to call you a Daoist Friend? I have been pursuing the Dao wholeheartedly, please accept me as your disciple, Yuqing Saint." Guang Chengzi and the others did not expect the Burning Lamp to have such a background, they were also surprised.

Seeing this, Yuanshi could only give up the idea of dissuading the Burning Lamp: "In that case, I will accept the Daoist Friend as my registered disciple. The Daoist Friend and I can be considered as half a teacher. The Daoist Friend can be the Deputy Hierarch of the Sect of Chanism, he can manage the outer sect disciples of the sect in the future. My disciples also need to respectfully address the Daoist Friend as their teacher."

Looking at the twelve people of Guang Chengzi, Yuanshi and Chijingzi were formed from primordial crystals, while Huang Long was from the dragon tribe. Although Yuanshi did not like the demon tribe, Huang Long had already broken through the formation, so he did not say much. As for the remaining people, they were all from the human tribe, which surprised Yuanshi. These twelve people would be the famous Twelve Golden Immortals of the Sect of Chanism in the future.

Of course, in addition to these thirteen people, Yuanshi also accepted dozens of outer sect disciples, among which the more famous one was the Old Man of the South Pole. These people belonged to the outer sect. With the Burning Lamp, the Deputy Hierarch of the Sect of Chanism, managing them, it saved Yuanshi a lot of trouble.

Compared to Yuanshi, the Tongtian did not have to go through so much trouble to choose disciples. He just set up a formation to test the disciple's temperament. After passing this formation, he chose some of the more talented ones and accepted them as his disciples. The rest were accepted as registered disciples and belonged to the outer sect of the Sect of Chanism.

In a short time, the Tongtian accepted nearly a thousand disciples, many of which were famous in the future, such as Daoist Duobao, Goddess of Golden Spirit, Goddess of Wudang, Goddess of Turtle Spirit, Zhao Gongming, Three Xiao Immortals, and so on. Most of them were from the demon tribe.

After accepting disciples, Yuanshi and the Tongtian taught their disciples their own Taoist skills. At first, it was peaceful, but after a long time, problems arose. The huge Kunlun Mountain was a little miasma. It was not the same as the blessed land of immortals. Moreover, there were many conflicts between the disciples of the two sects.

When Yuanshi saw this, he reprimanded, "Tongtian, you are so unreasonable. It's fine to accept disciples, but how can you accept a thousand disciples without thinking? Tendo should not be mixed with spirits and demons. Most of them are birds and beasts. Tendo should be orderly. Accepting disciples depends on qualifications and opportunities. How can you be like this? Why don't you dismiss most of them and leave a few to pass on the orthodoxy?"

When the Tongtian heard this, he was unhappy. Yuanshi actually called him by his name and reprimanded him. How could he not be angry? "Primogenitor, don't go too far. There are three thousand paths to the Great Dao. I am willing to pass on my Dao to all living beings in the Great Desolation, but I am not like you who cherish it. I usually don't argue with you, but this time when I accept disciples, you want to criticize me. Do you really think I am afraid of you?"

Ever since he accepted disciples, Yuanshi always put the blame on the Jie Sect whenever there was a conflict between the Chan Sect and the Tongtian Sect. Out of consideration for their brotherhood, the Tongtian tolerated Yuanshi. He did not expect Yuanshi to criticize him like this today. Naturally, the Tongtian could not stand it anymore.

When the Tongtian said this, Yuanshi was naturally angry. The two of them argued for a while, but then they heard Lao Tzu's voice, "The two of you should stop arguing. Everyone has their own Dao, and their Dao is different. What is there to argue about?" Lao Tzu had brought Xuan Du back to Mount Kunlun.

When Yuanshi saw Lao Tzu returning with a human, he said, "Big Brother, is this the disciple you accepted? He has a strange constitution and extraordinary talent. He is not like Third Brother who randomly accepted people and made Mount Kunlun into a mess. How can it be like in the past? "

When the Tongtian heard Yuanshi's words, he was immediately angry, "Good, good, good! Since that is the case, I will move out of Mount Kunlun. I will bring my sect to find another place to live. Who cares about Mount Kunlun? " When he finished speaking, the Tongtian walked out without looking back. He gathered the disciples of the Jie Order and left Mount Kunlun in a short while.

When Yuanshi saw the Tongtian leave, he felt a little regretful. However, because of his face, he did not want to keep him. He could only watch as the Celestial Court left. However, when he thought about how Mount Kunlun would be quieter in the future, Yuanshi's mood improved. After all, Yuanshi had always treated Mount Kunlun as his home. Naturally, he wanted his home to be cleaner.

When Lao Tzu saw the Tongtian leave, he sighed and said, "Since that is the case, I will also find another place to practice. Although Mount Kunlun is good, it can only bear the fate of one Sage's sect. I will leave Mount Kunlun to Second Brother!" When he finished speaking, he led Xuan Du and left Mount Kunlun.

Yuanshi was stunned. He did not expect that his actions would cause the three brothers to split up. He was really regretful. However, because of his face, he was unwilling to apologize. He could only watch as Lao Tzu left. However, when he thought about how Mount Kunlun would belong to him in the future, he was very happy.

After Lao Tzu left Mount Kunlun, he brought Xuan Du back to Mount Shouyang. He built a Bajing Palace on Mount Shouyang. Every day, he would preach Dao with Xuan Du. When he was free, he would start refining pills. His days were quite leisurely. When the news of the Sage moving into Mount Shouyang spread, many people came to be apprenticed. However, no one was able to meet Lao Tzu.

After the Tongtian left Mount Kunlun with his disciples, he went to the East Sea and found an immortal island called Golden Turtle Island. He cast some spells and built a Jadeite Palace on the island. He set up a practice ground and called himself Lingbao Tianzun. He preached the Dao of Shangqing every day. Anyone who came to listen would be accepted as a disciple if they were fated. Even if they were not, they would not be chased away. Gradually, there were signs of thousands of immortals coming to the sect.

The separation of Sanqing from Mount Kunlun was a major event. Naturally, the Great Desolation shocked everyone. However, many people were happy. Among them were the two Sages of the West, Summon and Zhunti. The West was poor. The two Sages had established their sects for a long time. The number of disciples they accepted was extremely limited. Their direct disciples were only Pharmacist, Maitreya, and a few others.

When the two Sages heard about the separation of Sanqing, they were overjoyed. Zhunti smiled and said, "Now that Sanqing is separated, the West will prosper." The East was rich and had many living creatures. Unlike the West, the West was barren after Rho's self-destruction. Although Summon and Zhunti often treated and restored the West, it was still very different from the East. As a result, the living creatures of the Great Desolation did not want to live in the West.

Summon smiled and said, "The West will prosper sooner or later. It's just that the Shamans and Demons are very powerful now. Moreover, Sanqing is only a branch. The three of them still have feelings for each other and have not completely broken off. If the West moves in the East, Sanqing will definitely block it. It will not be easy for the West to prosper!"

Zhunti also looked worried when he heard this. He sighed and said, "It seems that we still have to plan for the long term." Then, his eyes flashed. No one knew what he was planning. Summon saw this and did not say much. He was quiet by nature, similar to Ascetic Zeng in the future. Most of the things in the West were planned by Zhunti. He was just supporting him from behind.
