Marvelous Rulai's existence was blessed by the heavens, especially his supreme Buddha creation. Even the Mad Monk Daxing, who was known as the world's living Buddha, could not compare to him. Even Cang Yan, the Lord of Langya, who had both the immortal and demon destinies, was somewhat envious.
Legend had it that.
When Marvelous Rulai came out of his mother's womb, there was a natural phenomenon. The wind and clouds changed, the colors of nature bloomed, the light of the sun shrouded him, purple air came from the east, dragons and phoenixes appeared auspicious, and the divine descended.
Such a sign was comparable to the birth of a saint.
What was even more incredible was that Marvelous Rulai could walk as soon as he was born. With every step he took, lotus flowers bloomed under his feet. After seven steps, seven lotus flowers bloomed. Each lotus flower was like a whirling world. It could be said that lotus flowers bloomed with every step.
Was that all?
Of course not.
It was said that after Marvelous Rulai took seven steps, he pointed to the sky with one hand and the ground with the other, muttering to himself. In heaven and earth, only I am supreme.
Some people said that Marvelous Rulai was the reincarnation of Rulai.
These words were not small.
One had to know that the two words' Rulai 'were the supreme title of Buddhism.
For example, the famous Five Wisdom Kings.
The Acalanatha Wisdom King was the Mahavairocana Buddha, the Trailokyavijaya Wisdom King was the Amitabha Buddha, the Juntuli Wisdom King was the Living Rulai Buddha, the Mahavairocana Wisdom King was the Amoghasiddhi Buddha.
In addition, Rulai had another meaning. In Buddhism, one would accumulate good karma and finally become a Buddha. Therefore, he was named Rulai, which was the true Rulai. The two words' Rulai 'even represented the past and the future.
No one knew whether the various legends about Marvelous Rulai were true or false.
However.
One thing was certain. Marvelous Rulai was definitely an overlord of Buddhism in the Western Heaven. It was not an exaggeration to call him an overlord of this vast wilderness.
As everyone knew.
There was an immortal emperor in the Nine Heavens called the Great Sun Emperor. He once transformed into a Great Sun, illuminating the Nine Underworlds and intimidating all demons and ghosts.
His existence was known as the incarnation of the Great Sun.
The Great Sun Magical Power was known as the number one in the vast wilderness.
In the world, there might be many who could transform into the Great Sun, whether it was a real Great Sun or a fake Great Sun.
But only the Great Sun Emperor could illuminate the Nine Underworlds.
Where was the Nine Underworlds?
That was the land of extreme yin, the holy land of demons and ghosts.
No one had ever done this before the Grand Sun Emperor. No one even thought that one day, the Grand Sun would shine upon the Nine Underworlds.
Some people said that the Great Sun Glorious Sovereign's transformation into the Great Sun Illuminating the Nine Underworlds was definitely unprecedented.
Many people also believed it.
However, with the appearance of Mahayana Rulai, the legend of the Great Sun Glorious Sovereign was shattered. This was because Mahayana Rulai had once transformed into a great sun to transcend the nine underworlds.
That was right!
Expiation!
Not only that.
Marvelous Rulai had even severed the Nine Nether Sacred Stele. After doing so, he had left behind a line that couldn't be any more arrogant.
All the demons and devils are ants. The Lord of the Netherworld is greedy for life and afraid of reincarnation. He cut off all the darkness to reach the Nine Underworlds. Only I, the Buddha, am the Wonderful Tathagata.
Not only did he look down on all demons and devils as insignificant as ants, but he also despised the Nine Serenities Master for being afraid of death and not daring to reincarnate. He even boasted that only he, the Buddhist Emperor of the Western Heaven, could slay all the darkness and ascend to the Nine Serenities.
These words could be said to be extremely arrogant.
It was just like what Buddha Miraculous had said when he was born: I am the only one in the world.
However.
Buddha Miraculous's existence was far more than that.
He was also a person of original sin.
And it was an Innate Original Sin.
He had also fused with the blood of original sin and probably had more than one drop.
The most terrifying thing was that this guy was also a variable.
Although Cang Yan wasn't a person of original sin, her understanding of original sin wasn't any less than that of original sin, or even more.
She knew that people of original sin were particular about the body of original sin.
The first stage was the incarnation of original sin.
The second stage was the incarnation of original sin.
The third stage was the incarnation of original sin.
The fourth stage was the incarnation of original sin.
Although there were many people of original sin in the world, most of them were acquired original sins.
Although some of these acquired original sins had extremely terrifying strength, at least they had self-awareness.
Moreover, it was almost impossible for acquired original sins to cultivate the incarnation of original sin. Not everyone could bear the name of original sin.
Although there weren't many innate original sins, they weren't few either.
However.
Not all innate original sins could become incarnations of original sin. Even if they could become incarnations of original sin, most of them would be crazy demons that had self-awareness but could no longer control it. Furthermore, they would lose their humanity and would be like walking corpses. They wouldn't have a good ending. After committing too much evil, they would either be obliterated or suppressed.
The second stage was the incarnation of original sin. Whatever sin one committed during the incarnation of original sin would result in the incarnation of original sin. If the incarnation of original sin was the cause, then the incarnation of original sin was the effect. This was retribution for evil.
The third stage was the incarnation of original sin. Once an original sin entered this stage, it would almost no longer have self-awareness. It would be like a ball of chaos and it would sink deeper and deeper. The sins would also become heavier.
There weren't many incarnations of original sin in the world, and there were even fewer incarnations of original sin. This was because the Great Dao couldn't tolerate original sin, nor would it allow an existence like original sin's incarnation to threaten all living beings. Even if they weren't obliterated by Great Dao experts, they would be judged by the Great Dao.
The fourth stage was the incarnation of original sin. After entering this stage, a brand new self-awareness would be born. However, this self-awareness already belonged to the original sin. If original sin was the Great Dao, then the incarnation of original sin would be like a seed in the Great Dao. This seed would take root and sprout.
The incarnation of original sin was an extremely terrifying existence.
Others might not know.
However, Cang Yan knew that since ancient times, those who could create original sin's incarnation were all extremely powerful existences. Furthermore, they all had the power to destroy the world. Not to mention that Great Dao experts couldn't obliterate them, even the Great Dao's judgment might not be able to put them on trial.
Because of this.
Therefore, since ancient times, almost all original sin's incarnations had been banished to the Ultimate Ruins.
Coincidentally.
The Western Heaven's Buddhist Emperor, Maitreya Rulai, was an original sin's incarnation.
"Heavenly Secret Goddess, you've really made me look for you."
In the sky, Maitreya Rulai's voice sounded.
At this moment.
It was like a world of Buddha with wonderful Dharma swirling around.
A golden sun was slowly rotating like a Buddha wheel. The golden Buddha statue that was sitting in the sky was like the Buddha Lord of this Buddha world.
The sky was filled with Buddhas worshipping and Buddhist scriptures were being chanted.
Maitreya Rulai sat on the palm of the golden Buddha statue. His voice sounded like a sacred voice that shook the souls of all living beings, causing them to feel fear.
He opened his eyes. His eyes were like the sun, as if they illuminated the world. His eyes were burning with fire as if he could transcend all living beings.
In this wonderful Buddha world, Cang Yan and Maitreya Rulai who were sitting in the pavilion seemed out of place compared to the Buddhas worshipping the sky.
