A few minutes later, the message was still unsuccessful.
Huo Yao tapped her phone screen gently. She did not send any more messages since she was not too worried.
Although Old Wei was an honest man, he was very vigilant. He would not be caught so easily.
Min Yu raised his head and glanced at Huo Yao. He noticed that she was deep in thought, so he asked her. "Are you still worried about President Wang's illness?"
Huo Yao snapped out of her daze when she heard Min Yu's voice. She put her phone away and shook her head. "Everyone will die one day."
"Just try your best," said Min Yu calmly.
"Uh huh." Huo Yao looked out of the window. A thought crossed her mind. She raised her hand and removed the necklace from her neck. "Didn't you want to borrow this from me a couple of days ago?"
Min Yu glanced sideways at her. He knew that she was almost fully recovered. He took the necklace from her and placed it in his pocket. "I'll give it back to you when I'm done."
"Okay," replied Huo Yao without asking him what he was going to do with the jade.
Min Yu did not explain further and asked her. "Where are you going?"
Huo Yao glanced at the time on her watch. "Take me to the hospital."
Min Yu nodded. Just as he was about to speak, his phone rang.
It was from Yang Yi.
He picked up the Bluetooth earpiece and put it on. Yang Yi's voice came from the other end of the line.
"We have news of Professor Min."
Min Yu's expression changed slightly. "Really? Where is he? "
Yang Yi mentioned a remote mountain in the south. "But Professor Min's signal is pretty bad. My men only managed to pick up a weak distress signal, and we can't get in touch with him."
Min Yu held the steering wheel and looked ahead calmly. "Get your men to continue looking for him. Wait for me to come back."
After that, he pressed the earpiece and hung up the phone.
Huo Yao tilted her head. "Drop me off at the side of the road if you're busy. I'll take a cab to the hospital."
Min Yu did not slow down. "It's not a big deal."
Huo Yao did not say anything else.
Min Yu drove Huo Yao to the hospital ten minutes later. He drove away without visiting her in the ward.
Yang Yi and Zhuo Yun were already waiting for her when she returned to the Min residence.
"Is the helicopter ready?" Min Yu was wearing a black coat with his sleeves rolled up. His wrists were fair, thin, and bony. He looked extremely cold and stern.
"Everything is ready. We can set off now," said Yang Yi respectfully.
Min Yu nodded and instructed. "Don't let anyone know about this. Don't tell Madam Nie and Old Master Min either."
"Okay, got it." Yang Yi and Zhuo Yun nodded.

Before long, they arrived at the tarmac. After boarding the plane, Min Yu leaned against the sofa and gazed out of the window with his deep eyes.
Zhuo Yun went to get a bottle of water. "Yu, you don't have to worry. Professor Min should be fine. Although there's no signal in that place, our people went in to check it out and didn't find anything dangerous."
Min Yu retracted his gaze and acknowledged softly.
"But there's something strange. That place isn't within the boundaries of the map. This area is only marked as an undeveloped primeval forest. Helicopters might get lost in there," Zhuo Yun added.
