Yuan Xi gazed at Huo Yao's back and recalled how she had tried to send Huo Yao away to get her period pads from the hostel.
She touched her nose and hurriedly caught up with Huo Yao.

Yuan Huan had just walked out of the Biology faculty. He turned his head sideways and asked casually. "Do you know Huo Yao?"
He had just seen Mu Qing greet her.
Mu Qing nodded. "Not really. The Principal of my high school invited me to give a speech to the graduating students. Huo Yao was the student representative back then, so I met her a few times."
So this was what had happened.
Yuan Huan continued to walk forward unhurriedly. A few minutes later, he said, "This girl is very good at calculation. Since you two graduated from the same school, you should get to know each other better."
Mu Qing glanced at Yuan Huan and pondered over what he meant.
"How's the progress of your academy's spatial research project?" Yuan Huan changed the topic.
Mu Qing smiled bitterly and shook his head. "Not much. After all, it's hard to prove the theory of three-dimensional space reversal with scientific evidence."
Yuan Huan's eyes darkened. "Some things can't be proven scientifically, but don't worry. Take your time to collect more information. Let me know if you have any breakthroughs."
He paused before he added. "It's up to you whether you can get into the base."
Mu Qing gritted his teeth and said, "Don't worry, Mr. Yuan. I will do my best to get the core information."
Entering the base had always been his dream. He did not want to be a researcher who contributed to the country.
"Okay. I believe in your abilities." Yuan Huan smiled and patted Mu Qing's shoulder. "I will be staying in the capital for a while, so I will be coming to the school often. You can look for me if you need anything."
"Okay." Mu Qing nodded.

Huo Yao left early in the afternoon after finishing her work in the lab.
When she walked to the school gate, she met Yuan Xi who was standing at the iron gate.
"Why haven't you left yet?" asked Huo Yao as she adjusted her bag.
"I'm waiting for my brother," replied Yuan Xi in a low mood.
Huo Yao nodded and said, "He should be coming out soon."
"Uh huh," said Yuan Xi. She knew why her older brother had become a tutor in the school. She raised her head and smiled at Huo Yao before she urged her. "Hurry up and leave."
"Alright."
Huo Yao massaged her throbbing temples without saying a word. She waved at Yuan Xi and walked over to the black car parked by the roadside.
He opened the door to the passenger's seat and got in.
Min Yu was still on the phone. After Huo Yao got into the car, he quickly hung up and turned to look at her. He could not help frowning when he saw that she did not look well.
When I called him last night, he wasn't in the right mood.
"Are you not feeling well?" asked Min Yu as he placed his hand on Huo Yao's forehead.
It was cold, but he didn't have a fever.
Huo Yao leaned against the seat. After he withdrew his hand, she explained. "No. I'm just allergic to certain smells."
"Allergic to odors?"
