Although the Reed family was also a noble, they were of the lowest rank. Cage was only a baron, and Andonara was only a baronet before she became the queen, which meant that they were nobles in reserve.
They were nobles on the surface, but they didn't have the power and honor of nobles.
It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that they were ordinary people, but they enjoyed more rights than ordinary people.
Also, Reed was just a village, so the banquet here wouldn't be as extravagant and chaotic as the banquets of the nobles in the big cities.
It was just a group of people having a barbecue party in the backyard. Everyone chatted as they ate. There were no shocking palace secrets, only happy and harmonious family gossip.
Roland chewed the meat that Andonara offered him. It was tender and juicy.
He had to admit that, although she was the queen, Andonara was actually as good at cooking as Betta.
At this moment, Cage was bragging to Jerry, the oldest magic apprentice, "When I first became a mercenary, I was very lucky, although I was not very sensible. I met at least three beauties every month. You know what …"
Jerry was speechless. He was old now, and half of his legs were buried in the soil. To him, beauty was like poppy. Although he would feel delicious after eating it, it could be an addictive poison if he didn't treat it well.
Right now, he was only one step away from becoming an official mage. If his body was depleted because of his lust and he was unable to advance, he would regret it for the rest of his life … Or rather, he would directly anger himself to death.
However, no matter what, Reid was still the master. He could only listen to Reid's bragging.
Roland, on the other hand, was much more relaxed. He enjoyed the double service of Queen Andonara and Vivian.
No one disturbed the three of them.
The light from the bonfire drove away the darkness, and the aroma of the barbecue attracted some uninvited guests.
A group of bats flew over cautiously from the darkness.
They landed on a tree at least sixty meters away from the bonfire and observed in silence.
Darkness was the best cover for the bats, but hardly had they landed on a branch when Andonara turned her head in that direction. Half a second later, Cage turned his head around too.
"This smell …" Cage chuckled coldly. "A cold, dark aura. We have an incredible guest here."
Andonara's blue eyes glittered with eagerness. "Roland, can I go and see how strong I am?"
After drinking the Phoenix Blood, Andonara knew that she had become a lot stronger, but she didn't have a clear idea of exactly how strong she was.
Therefore, he wanted to give it a try.
"Be careful." Roland nodded.
The Hero bloodline was the bane of evil creatures. Cage said that it was a dark creature, so it shouldn't be a match for Andonara under normal circumstances.
Besides, Roland had also discovered that the two Hero bloodlines had both discovered the enemy, but he still didn't know where the enemy was.
Receiving Roland's permission, Andonara kissed Roland's cheek happily without caring about other people's eyes. Then, she tore her dress short so that it would be easier for her to move.
Then, on her back, her long hair that was as bright as brocade moved on its own. In twenty seconds, it was braided into a long, bright gold braid that reached her heels. In the end, Andonara pulled the ponytail into her hands and tied a bow at the end with a piece of white cloth.
Then, Andonara threw the ponytail behind her and looked around. Then, she picked up the spear on which the roasted lamb was skewered and tossed it softly.
The remaining half of the roasted lamb was thrown to the table by her ingenious strength. Then, blue flames spread to the spear and purged the grease and meat on it.
A spear that was slightly red because of the high temperature was grasped in her hand.
Everybody looked at her in surprise.
In the end, Andonara looked at a certain tree far away.
She chuckled and moved.
She turned into a blue Z-shaped lightning and charged to the tree.
It was a speed that could barely be captured with the naked eye, especially on such a dark night.
Of all the bystanders, Cage was the only one who saw Andonara's movements clearly. The two Warriors performed Leap Slash and Z-charge at the same time. What was even more unbelievable was that Andonara was covered in blue flames.
It was also the reason for the illusion of blue lightning.
After she reached the tree, Andonara leaped and stabbed with her spear.
The blue flames turned into a gigantic bird that attached itself to Andonara. It expanded its wings and soared into the sky, illuminating the night sky, before it swooped down and landed.
Everyone who saw this scene seemed to hear the strange but pleasant cry of a phoenix.
After she landed, Andonara put her spear back and watched the little bats falling before her like raindrops.
Most of the little bats had been consumed by the blue flames and burnt to ashes in only a few seconds.
The few bats, on the other hand, flapped their wings helplessly on the ground and tried their best to gather together.
Very soon, she turned into a pitiful little girl in black clothes.
She looked at Andonara in fear.
Roland was standing on the ground with a spear in his hand. The blue flames on the tip of the spear were floating in the wind, like a blue flag.
Staring at the little girl for a while, Andonara stood straight, grabbed her by the collar, and walked straight back.
Half a minute later, Andonara returned to the backyard of the manor and threw the little girl to the ground. Then, she skewered the roasted lamb with her spear and hung it on the bonfire.
Everybody looked at the little girl.
The little girl crouched on the ground, hugging her legs and hiding her face between her knees, shivering.
"What kind of dark creature is this?" asked Cage.
He didn't see Andonara killing the little bats.
"It must be a vampire," Andonara said. "She turned into a little girl because I destroyed most of her bat clones. Otherwise, she would've been an old woman."
Roland subconsciously said, "I'm told that the ashes of vampires are very valuable. I got a lot of them earlier!"
Everybody looked at Roland in surprise.
However, the little girl jumped to her feet the moment she heard Roland. She was about to hug Roland's leg and beg for mercy, when Andonara quickly stomped her to the ground again.
"You want to attack Roland?" Not happy, Andonara slightly increased the strength of her foot.
The little girl's back made a bone-cracking sound.
"Don't kill me! Don't burn me!" The little girl tried to crawl forward on all fours. While struggling crazily, she cried, "I'll do anything you want! Don't kill me! Please! "
The crisp voice of a child seemed very desolate.
Everybody looked at each other in bewilderment.
