Although he didn't want to work anymore, the Priest could only sigh helplessly when everybody looked at him expectantly.
After all, it seemed that nobody else in the team knew Dispel anymore.
Putting down the skewers, the Priest waved his hand again and again, casting Dispel again and again, dimming the light on Roland. Everybody counted the number of times.
After ten times, the Priest stopped.
The light of magic on Roland was still quite bright.
At this moment, Hawk shouted, "Keep going! We want to see how many times it takes to dispel it. Is there no more magic power?"
The others all nodded.
The Priest lowered his head gloomily. "There's still magic power, but the number of casts is gone."
Everybody finally remembered that Priests and Warlocks had a number of casts.
At a higher level, the number of times he could cast the same spell would increase, and he could also learn new spells. Although he would often fall into the predicament of running out of spells at a lower level, this problem wouldn't be a problem at a higher level.
But now, a level-five Priest could only cast Dispel ten times.
Everybody sighed in disappointment.
The Priest was even more depressed.
Priests were a very easy class to pick up. They didn't need to level up. They only needed to pray under the statue of the goddess every day to gain experience. Although the divine spells they learned were random, they were quite practical. More importantly, the Priest was good at melee combat. They could wear armor, carry a one-handed hammer, and carry a shield.
But compared to the other party, they seemed a little weaker.
As the deputy chairman, Hawk naturally wouldn't let his member be embarrassed for too long. He stood up and said, "Roland, give me a try and see how it works."
A white light enshrouded Hawk. Two seconds later, Hawk's expression became weird. Then, he roared like a gorilla and jumped from the third floor.
Everybody immediately ran to the edge of the roof and leaned down.
Under the moonlight, Hawk, who looked like a giant gorilla, hugged a short tree that was about thirty centimeters in diameter and exerted his strength.
His muscles that were as hard as stones were wriggling nonstop.
Muffled sounds came from underground. It was the sound of the tree's roots being forcibly torn apart.
Finally, with a loud crash, the short tree was uprooted.
"Holy sh * t, this is Lu Zhishen turning the willow upside down!" Betta exclaimed.
"The diameter of a willow tree's trunk is usually less than 20 centimeters. It's a far cry from this." Link's eyes were full of smiles, and his eyes were full of happiness.
Margaret snorted disdainfully.
No matter how strong humans were, they were still far from being comparable to the Dragon Clan.
Everybody thought that after Hawk plucked the tree and showed how exaggerated his strength was after he was strengthened, he ended up hugging the short tree and spinning it around.
First, the wind howled. Then, sand and stones flew everywhere. Then, the trees around him were all broken. There seemed to be an explosion in the center where he was standing. Broken branches and leaves mixed with a large amount of dust and sand flew outwards.
Even on the third floor, there was a lot of sand and stones splashing up.
"Wow, this Whirlwind Slash is rather powerful." Standing on the roof, Schuck clicked his tongue.
Margaret no longer had the disdain on her face.
If Hawk had been holding a giant sword, she would've been wounded by the Whirlwind Slash even though she was in her dragon form.
After circling a few more times and turning the surrounding ground into a mess, Hawk finally felt a little tired. He threw the short tree whose crown was already bare to the ground. After a loud thud, he once again jogged to the roof of the building. While slightly panting, he excitedly shouted, "Awesome, really awesome!"
Although it was Hawk who acted in an exaggerated way just now, everybody's eyes were focused on Roland.
Hawk's performance was all thanks to Roland's spell.
Looking at their excited eyes, Roland shrugged and cast Body Fortification on them one after another.
Almost the whole night, they destroyed and played all kinds of games in the woods.
Plucking trees was just a basic skill. The more advanced ones were spinning in circles like Hawk, and the more advanced ones were breaking trees with their hands.
Hawk even did frog jumps while holding two rocks that weighed at least a hundred kilograms.
What a bunch of idiots.
By the next morning, they were finally tired of playing. After breakfast, they continued their journey.
The two coachmen didn't look very well. The idiots had been messing around the house all night, making it impossible for the coachmen to fall asleep.
But the coachmen didn't dare to say anything … What could they say to a bunch of professionals who could pluck trees and their employers?
On the way, Roland began to study the spell Dimensional Anchor.
Then he realized that the spell was a little difficult.
It was more difficult than Long-Distance Teleportation.
The main reason was that the connection of the model didn't seem right. Casting the spell according to the node connection on the model always failed.
Fortunately, Dimensional Anchor wasn't an offensive spell, and it wouldn't be dangerous even if it failed.
Then, the study of Dimensional Anchor was stuck.
Also, the wobbling carriage would indeed affect his concentration, so Roland gave up the idea of studying spells above level two.
Instead, he began to browse the forum.
A trip that had something to do was called a trip.
Time passed quickly. The group of people ate, drank, and had fun. Soon, a dozen days had passed, and they had reached the periphery of the Elf Forest.
On the way, Roland played the biggest role.
The temporary stone buildings built with Mud to Stone could be used as accommodation and shelter. Only those who traveled knew how comfortable it was to have a safe place to stay.
When he passed by Urganda, Roland's "Unhindered Communication" proved to be a great achievement again.
The language of Urganda was naturally different from that of Hollevin.
Although Betta was also capable of Language Proficiency, he could only use it five times a day, and it didn't last as long as Roland's.
Roland could almost cover the whole sky after he cast the spell.
More importantly, Unhindered Communication allowed him to understand any language.
That was quite impressive.
There was one last thing that made the members of the team feel that it was the right choice to bring Roland into the team.
Just three days ago, when they left the border of Urganda, they had to cross a large river. Unfortunately, there had been a heavy rainstorm a few days ago, and the river had swollen so much that the bridge had collapsed. Although the river was not as turbulent as before, it was almost impossible for the water level to recede in three to four days. Besides, the bridge was gone.
There were only four days left until the appointed time.
If they were delayed here, they wouldn't make it in time.
Hawk suggested that Margret carry everybody across the river in several batches. As a result, Margret flew into a rage and turned back into a dragon, slapping Hawk with her tail.
Hawk was sent flying a dozen meters away. Thankfully, Hawk, who had grown his physique, was tough enough and didn't suffer too serious injuries.
Margret was going to keep beating him, but Schuck, who realized what was going on, stopped Margret and comforted her for a long time before she returned to her human form.
A dragon would only be ridden by her dragon knight. Nobody else was allowed to climb onto her back. It was a matter of life and death.
Hawk didn't quite understand. After hearing Schuck's explanation, he also apologized to Margret and Schuck.
Just when everyone was at their wits' end, Roland stepped forward.
Exhausting all his magic power, he created an ice bridge that spanned more than a hundred meters on the river.
Because the current was still rather rapid, the ice bridge had to be very solid, which was even more costly.
Fortunately, he succeeded in the end.
A group of people crossed the ice bridge to the other side, and behind them, there were a few particularly bold caravans.
After the border of Urganda, they would be at the periphery of the Elf Forest.
It took the team two days to reach the appointed place.
Before them was a dense forest. The air in this area was moist and warm, and it was quite comfortable to be in it.
Roland's team was at the boundary between the prairie and the forest. Their feet were buried in the green grass, surrounded by unknown flowers.
White and red wildflowers emitted delicate fragrance, and colorful butterflies were flying here and there.
They waited for a while, but nobody came to meet them. While they were wondering, they saw a black spot flying close from the forest far away.
About three minutes later, it landed before them.
It was an elf, a male elf.
He had a green ponytail, an oval face, eyes that looked like water scissors, and a pair of curved eyebrows.
It was a word to describe a beauty, but the person who came was a male elf.
All the human beings slightly gasped.
This male elf could be described as a beauty.
In Roland's eyes, this elf was even more beautiful than Antis. His appearance and demeanor were on par with the queen who was bathed in the moonlight in white.
The elf looked so cold that everybody seemed to owe him three hundred gold coins, but it didn't affect his demeanor at all.
"Are you the Golden Sons who are willing to accept my quest?" The elf glanced at everybody and finally fixed his eyes on Betta. "Mr. Human, would you like to introduce yourself?"
Betta was slightly surprised.
Everybody else was quite surprised too. Why did this elf think that Betta was their "leader?"
Roland thought for a moment and immediately realized that it must've been the feature of the Divine Nobles at work.
In the eyes of the NPCs, Betta was a noble.
Also, as his level increased, Betta's nobility value would increase too.
Remembering the features of his class, Betta immediately realized what was going on and said with a smile, "Our information is not important as long as we can complete the quest. Excuse me, you should be Ans, right? "
Ans nodded.
Betta asked again, "Can we learn the details of the quest? So that we can take targeted measures! "
"That's not a problem." With his hands behind his back, Ans stood straight. He looked around at everybody and nodded in the end. "Of course. Please follow me."
He volunteered to lead the way. Everybody found that the knee-high grasses parted in advance wherever Ans passed, as if the plants were making way for him.
As expected of the elves … the children of nature.
Ans led the mission team into the forest. After a few minutes, they came to a treehouse next to a lake that was covered by a dense forest.
The treehouse was the color of oil. It looked small from the outside, but it was quite spacious inside.
There was all kinds of wooden furniture, and the house emitted the fragrance of trees.
Ans invited everybody to sit down. He closed his eyes for a while before he opened them and said, "Actually, I'm not a conservative, but a radical, Nature's Wrath."
