Chapter 56

Report

GOC's full name was The Global Occult Coalition, which translated to the Global Supernatural Alliance.

It was an international organization under the United Nations, formed by 108 powerful supernatural organizations. Its motto was' Protect humans, whether they like it or not. '

As an abnormal organization led by an international government, the biggest difference between GOC and the Foundation was their attitude toward abnormal projects.

If the Foundation's goal was relatively mild — control, shelter, and protect, then GOC's goal was only one — destroy, destroy, and f * cking destroy.

They spared no effort to destroy all abnormalities that were discovered, regardless of whether they were harmful to humans.

That was because they had the backing of the United Nations. Compared to the SCP Foundation, GOC was richer and more militarized. Their conventional combat weapons were very advanced.

If GOC did not use abnormal projects to participate in the battle, the Foundation would not be their opponent. However, everyone knew that the Foundation's terror was that no one knew how many trump cards it had.

The Foundation had several means of rebooting the world. No other organization could compare to them.

Because the Foundation had many abnormal projects, GOC was very afraid of them. The relationship between the two was also very tense.

However, due to the common principle of protection and confidentiality, both sides still cooperated from time to time. It could be said that they loved each other and hated each other.

However, it had to be admitted that the Foundation was still the most professional when it came to dealing with abnormal projects.

Sometimes, GOC would cause irreparable consequences because of its improper handling of abnormal projects. At that time, the Foundation would have to clean up the mess.

The most famous example was SCP-1609 (the remains of a chair).

SCP-1609 was originally a chair that could teleport. As long as one wanted to sit down, it would teleport over.

For an abnormal project, it was really too ordinary and safe.

However, GOC did not think so. They wanted to execute it.

When they stuffed it near a wood shredder, it was injured, frightened, and angry. Then, it fought back.

SCP-1609 went from harmless to deadly in a few minutes because of GOC. It killed at least three GOC members. Of course, it was unknown how many of them were killed.

Then, the Foundation kept the chair. It did not even want to use its teleportation ability to leave the station. It was afraid that others would hurt it.

This incident was written into the SCP Foundation's documentation as a textbook. It proved why the Foundation was right and GOC was wrong.

Therefore, within the foundation, almost everyone would look at GOC with disdain. After all, they were the 'professionals' when it came to dealing with abnormal projects.

Because of this, Zhang Jue immediately knew who Harvey was talking about when he said things like "a troublemaker" and "a lunatic who wants to execute all abnormal projects".

The fact that GOC had come to ask for help meant that the situation was extremely bad and out of their control. That was why they had no choice but to lower their heads to the foundation.

That was why Harvey said that Zhang Jue would not be able to see Shirley today.

"What do you think, Mr. Zhang? Do you want to come with me and see what those lunatics are up to this time?"

To be honest, Zhang Jue was already prepared to be cheated before he came here. However, when he really encountered such a situation, he felt a little helpless.

Right now, all he wanted to do was to take a hot bath and read some web novels. At the same time, he wanted to urge those unscrupulous authors to update.

Who would want to work if they could relax?

But now that he was unfamiliar with this place, he could only follow the host's wishes.

He sighed and said, "Alright, let's go and take a look."

They rushed back to the city from the temporary airport. On the way, they only ate a mouthful of food before changing to another car.

Finally, in the evening, they arrived at a small town called Naya.

Opposite the small town was the Alps.

However, as soon as they arrived at the entrance of the small town, they were blocked by a large number of cars.

It seemed that many people had gathered here, making the originally peaceful town lively.
