Item #: SCP-106 (Creepy Old Man)

Item Grade: Keter

Description:

SCP-106 looks like an old man, usually with a highly decayed appearance.

SCP-106 is not very agile, it will often remain motionless for several days, waiting for prey.

SCP-106 could also attach itself to any vertical surface, and it could remain suspended indefinitely in the air.

SCP-106 will attempt to weaken its prey, usually by attacking the main organs, muscle tissue, or tendons, then drag the disabled prey into its pocket dimension.

SCP-106 can pass through solid matter, leaving a large trail of corrosive mucus behind it.

SCP-106 can then leave through any solid matter it first entered. (For example, 'enter' the inner wall of a room, and 'exit' the outer wall. Enter a wall, and leave through the ceiling.)

Special Containment Measures:

No physical contact with SCP-106 is allowed at any time. All physical contact requires the approval of two-thirds of Level O5 personnel.

SCP-106 is contained in a locked room. The room is made of lead-lined steel, and it must be sealed in 40 layers of identical materials. There must be a gap of no less than 36cm between each layer of materials. The support frames between the layers must be arranged randomly.

The second layer of containment should be made up of 16 spherical 'rooms'. Each room should be filled with a different liquid and filled with random support frames and surfaces.

The second layer of containment should be equipped with a lighting system, so that the containment area can be filled with no less than 80000 lumens of light without the intervention of personnel.

Both containment areas should be monitored 24 hours a day.

Any person or object lost to SCP-106 will be considered missing/dead, and there will be no attempt to rescue them.

Note: Continuous research has shown that SCP-106 will be 'disturbed' when faced with a complex/randomly arranged structure, and will be hesitant to enter or leave the structure.

SCP-106 also showed an aversion to the sudden strong light. This would not cause any physical damage to SCP-106, but it would cause him to quickly return to the pocket dimension he had created on the surface of the solid.

"Run!"

The moment he recognized the creepy old man, Zhang Jue did not hesitate. He grabbed Yang Xue's hand and ran.

He complained that Yang Xue was not running fast enough, so he threw her over his shoulder.

"What is that?" Yang Xue did not see the creepy old man's face, but when she saw Zhang Jue's expression, she knew that things were going to be troublesome.

"A scary old man."

Zhang Jue identified the direction and ran madly. He could feel that the old man's terrifying aura was constantly enveloping his surroundings.

Zhang Jue was about to turn a corner, but suddenly, a pool of black liquid appeared on the wall.

The old man with the stench of decay appeared from the pool.

SCP 106 could shift its position within solid matter. No matter how fast Zhang Jue ran, as long as he was still in this space, there was no way he could escape from 106's pursuit.

The moment he saw 106 appear, Zhang Jue immediately leaned to the side and slammed on the brakes.

Fortunately, he had a good physique. Otherwise, his ankle would have been fractured.

He had to find a way to deal with it.

But the enemy was SCP106. Even the foundation could not deal with it.

At most, they could only maintain the probability of it escaping the containment area at around 43%.

Zhang Jue's brain quickly turned.

"Put me down, use me to attract 106's attention." Seeing Zhang Jue's serious expression, Yang Xue said, "You go and stop the enemy, that is our most important mission. Otherwise, no one will survive the explosion."
