"Stun!"

Harry had moved to the right where the Sprite was standing, looking up at the now headless Wizard and laughing. Harry aimed at the back of Béla Trix, who was peeping over the fountain.

She was so quick that Harry was almost too late to dodge.

"Armor for protection!"

His own red stun spell bounced back at him, and Harry ducked back behind the fountain. One of the Sprite's ears flew out.

"Potter, I'll give you a chance!"

Béla Trix shouted. "Give me the Orb - roll it close to the ground to me - and I'll spare your life!"

"Is that so? Looks like I'm going to die because it's already broken!"

Harry was growling when a flash of pain passed over his forehead, and his scar burned again.

He felt a surge of anger that had nothing to do with his own anger.

"He knows!" Harry said, and laughed wildly, which rivaled Béla Trix's laughter. "Your dear old pal Voldemort knows the Orb is broken! He won't be pleased with you, will he? "

"What? What do you mean? "she cried, and for the first time there was panic in her voice.

"When I was trying to drag Neville up the stairs, it broke! What do you think Voldemort will say about it? "

His scar burned, and the pain was so unbearable that his eyes filled with tears.

"Liar!" She screamed, but now he heard fear in her anger. "It's in your hands, Potter, and you'll give it to me! Here comes the Orb! Here comes the Orb! "

Harry laughed again, because he knew it would make her angry. The pain in his forehead grew stronger, and he thought his skull was going to explode.

He put out a hand from behind the Sprite with one ear, shook it twice, and immediately withdrew it. Another green light flew towards him.

"There's nothing here!" he shouted.

"There's nothing to summon! It's broken, and no one heard what it said. Tell your boss! "

She was still screaming. "It's not true. You're lying to me! Master, I tried my best. I tried my best. Please don't punish me. "

"Don't waste your breath!"

Harry shouted, wincing to ease the pain of his scar, now worse than ever.'He can't hear you from here! '

"Can't I hear you, Potter?" said a cold, angry voice.

Harry opened his eyes.

It was tall, thin, and wore a black mask. Its terrifying snake-like face was pale and haggard. Its pupils were scarlet like slits as it stared at him.

Voldemort appeared in the middle of the room, his wand pointed at Harry, who stood stiffly, unable to move.

"So you're saying that you broke my Orb of Prophecy?"

Voldemort said softly, staring at Harry with his red, cold eyes.

"No, Béla, he wasn't lying. I saw the truth looking at me from his worthless brain. After months of preparation, months of hard work, my Death Eaters once again let Harry hinder me?"

"Master, I'm sorry. I didn't know. I was fighting Animagus!"

Said Béla Trix, sobbing.

Voldemort approached slowly, and she quickly threw herself at his feet. "Master, you know —"

"Be quiet, Béla," said Voldemort, his voice terrible. "I'll deal with you later! Did you think I came to the Ministry just to hear you cry and apologise? "

"But — Master — he's here — he's down there —"

Voldemort ignored her.

"I have nothing to say to you, Potter," he said calmly. "For a long time you've been giving me trouble, Avadasa!"

Harry couldn't even open his mouth to protest. His mind was blank, and his wand was useless against the floor.

Suddenly the headless golden Wizard statue in the fountain came to life. He leapt from the pedestal and landed with a thud on the floor between Harry and Voldemort. He spread his arms to protect Harry, and the spell only brushed his chest.

"How —?"

Voldemort shouted and looked around. Then, he sucked in a breath of cold air. "Dumbledore!"

Harry looked behind him, his heart pounding. Dumbledore was standing in front of the golden door.

Voldemort raised his wand and a beam of green light went straight for Dumbledore. Dumbledore turned and dodged like the wind.

A second later he was behind Voldemort again, waving his wand at the remaining statue in the fountain.

Another statue came to life.

This Wizard rushed at Béla Trix. Béla Trix screamed and fired spells, but to no avail in front of his chest.

He pounced on Béla Trix and pinned her firmly to the floor. Meanwhile the Sprite and the House Elf leapt for the fireplace in the wall. The one-armed centaur ran at Voldemort. Voldemort disappeared, then reappeared beside the fountain.

"It was foolish of you to come here tonight, Tom."

Dumbledore said calmly. "The Auros are on their way —"

"When I'm done for, that's when you're done for!"

Voldemort spat out a mouthful of saliva. He aimed at Dumbledore and fired another deadly spell, but it missed. It hit the security desk and burst into flames.

Dumbledore lightly waved the wand in his hand. Even Harry, who was hiding behind the Golden Statue, could feel the power of the spell that came out from the wand. His hair stood on end.

This time, Voldemort had to conjure a silver shield out of thin air to block the spell.

Whatever the spell was, it did no visible damage to the shield, though it struck the shield with a low sound like a gong — a strange, creepy sound.

"Don't you dare kill me, Dumbledore," Voldemort shouted.

Voldemort shouted. His scarlet eyes narrowed on the shield. "Is there anything more ruthless than this?"

"We all know there are many other ways to destroy a man, Tom."

Dumbledore continued calmly, walking closer to Voldemort as if he did not care at all about what was happening in front of him.

He walked in the hall as if nothing annoying had happened. "I must admit, taking your life would not satisfy me."

"There is nothing worse than death, Dumbledore!" Voldemort roared.

"You are very wrong."

Dumbledore's voice was soft, as if two people were discussing drinking.

"In fact, your greatest failure is to understand that there is something worse than death —"
