Elwyn, Harry and Hermione rushed into the castle, not even bothering about the invisibility cloak. Just as they rushed to the portrait of the fat lady at the entrance of the common room, they suddenly saw Snape walking out from the shadows in the corner.

"What a delightful encounter!" Snape looked at them with a sneer. "Potter, Granger, Mason, I thought it was bad enough that you used the compound decoction to pretend to be Slytherin's students and ran around the castle, but I didn't expect you to have the habit of wandering around in the middle of the night."

"Professor, we have an urgent matter and need to return to the common room." Hermione said hurriedly.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk!" Snape smiled proudly. "I'm afraid you won't be able to return. Gryffindor will deduct 150 points. Let me think …"

"You don't understand, Professor! It's the Lord Voldemort, he opened the secret room. We have to stop him, there's a diary … "Hermione continued indignantly.

"Shut up, Miss Know-It-All!" Snape stared at the three of them for a long time before saying slowly, "This is the Hogwarts, that person can't possibly appear here. Follow me, I want to see how Dumbledore will deal with you!"

Harry looked at Snape dejectedly, not knowing what to do. No matter what he said, Snape wouldn't believe him. The other party couldn't wait to find an excuse to punish him.

Just as he was about to say something, he suddenly heard that voice again.

"This time I'm going to kill someone! Let me tear! Let me tear!"

"That voice has appeared again. It's the snake monster, it's moving towards the common room!" Harry's heart sank. If the snake monster entered Gryffindor's common room, the consequences would be unimaginable.

Think about it, a group of defenseless students facing a terrifying monster that could kill people with its eyes. Who knew how many people would die inside?

"Elwyn, Hermione, it's gone in, we have to warn everyone!" Harry did not care about Snape who was standing in front of him. He shouted the password to open the entrance and crawled in.

Elwyn and Hermione were stunned for a moment before they hurriedly followed.

The common room was just as they had left it. The fire was dying down.

Through the dim light, Elwyn saw that the diary he had left on the sofa was gone. It must have been taken away by the student controlled by Tom Liddell.

But who could it be? Ginny or

Then, he noticed that on the wall directly above the fireplace, a line of dark silver words was glowing: Tremble, Mudbloods! The Hogwarts will be purified. Slytherin's heir will complete his great mission!

Elwyn's pupils contracted. The Hogwarts will be purified. Slytherin's heir will complete his great mission. What was Tom Liddell trying to do?!

A blurry figure walked out from the shadows in the corner. It was Ron!!!

Ron looked strange. He was elegant and calm with a hint of oppression. It was completely different from his usual aura. His body was covered in the same paint as the paint on the wall.

"Ron, thank God you're here. The snake monster is coming, we have to …" Harry shouted anxiously.

"I know, I was the one who summoned it." Ron's lips curled into a strange smile.

"What, what did you say?!" Harry and Hermione looked at him in shock.

"What I mean is, the attack on the school grounds, everything was done by me." Ron's smile became more obvious. "Harry Potter, I've been wanting to see you for a long time. Among all the people in the Hogwarts, you're the one I want to see the most!"

"Ron, I don't understand what you're saying." Harry took a step forward.

"Don't go over, Harry. He's not Ron. He's Tom Liddell!" Elwyn shouted hurriedly.

"Elwyn Mason!" Ron's smile gradually turned cold. "You damn, hateful mudbloods. I knew you would be trouble, but I didn't expect you to play with the great Slytherin's heir. I'll make you pay. You'll regret it."

"Enough, what are the four of you up to?!" Snape interrupted Ron and walked into the common room with a gloomy expression.

He was standing outside and heard their conversation. Snape frowned, not understanding what the four of them were up to.

The heir of Slytherin was Gryffindor's student, and the brainless Ron Weasley at that. In his opinion, this was the biggest joke. It must be a prank by Elwyn, Harry, Ron, and Hermione.

Snape pulled out his wand and prepared to use a Stun Spell to calm them down.

But before he could chant the spell, he heard a loud noise coming from inside Gryffindor's common room. It was loud enough to wake up half of the castle.

"Don't you Gryffindor idiots know what time it is? Or do you want to get out of the Hogwarts?!" Snape roared.

But he stopped immediately. There was a loud noise coming from the washroom not far away. It sounded like something huge had fallen from a high altitude and landed on the stone floor. The entire Gryffindor Tower shook. This was obviously not a sound that a student could make.

Snape quickly turned around and looked at the washroom. He carefully pointed his wand forward.

The corner of Ron's mouth curled up again. The others stared at the washroom door in horror.

Strange noises kept coming from inside. Something was about to come out. The atmosphere was tense.

Elwyn, Harry and Hermione quickly pulled out their wands. Snape took a step forward with a solemn expression. His whole body was tense, and the tip of his wand glowed faintly.

The washroom door flew out with a bang. Wood splinters flew everywhere.

Amidst the flying dust, Elwyn saw an ugly giant snake slither out of the washroom. Its body was green and glowed with the unique brilliance of a poisonous snake. Its body was as thick as the trunk of an oak tree, and its upper body stretched high into the air.

"It's a snake monster. Don't look at its eyes!" Elwyn shouted. He pointed his wand at the snake monster and chanted a spell.

Snape's speed was faster than his. Just as the snake monster rushed out of the washroom, the tip of his wand glowed faintly. Three dark-silver rays shot out consecutively. Like sharp arrows, they hit the snake monster accurately and left three bloody wounds on its green scales.

The snake monster didn't expect to be attacked as soon as it crawled out of the washroom. It shook its huge flat head as if it was drunk. The intense pain enraged it. It hissed crazily and looked down from above. Its huge yellow eyes were like two lightbulbs, looking for the person who dared to attack it.

Then, it saw an orange-red light flying towards its eyes at high speed.
