Report

It was around noon when Song Qingchun realized someone was tailing her.

In a twenty-plus degree weather, even if a normal person did not wear a short-sleeved shirt, they would at least wear a thin shirt. However, the stalker was dressed in black and wrapped himself up like a dumpling. He even had a cap and a mask over his face.

Song Qingchun pretended not to notice him and continued her routine of shopping, looking around and trying on clothes.

No matter where she went, as long as she paid close attention to the mirror, she would spot the heavily armed stalker.

At 3 pm, Song Qingchun was at the café on the fourth floor. She drank a glass of warm milk and rested for about twenty minutes with a magazine in her hands. When her phone rang, she raised her eyes to glance at the screen. She deleted the message, called the waiter for the bill, stood up, and walked toward the elevator that led to the underground carpark.

Song Qingchun stepped into the elevator and pressed the close button. Through the slowly closing elevator door, she once again saw the stalker in black.

She walked out of the elevator and saw Song Qingchun's car. When she walked to it, she realized all four of the tires had been deflated.

Song Qingchun used her phone to contact the towing company before stepping back into the elevator and heading up to the first floor.

Song Qingchun walked out of the mall and waited for a taxi by the roadside.

In less than half a minute, a yellow taxi stopped in front of her.

Song Qingchun glanced at the person in the driver's seat through the window. She pulled open the backseat door, got in, and gave the driver the address of the Song family home.

The driver did not say anything. After Song Qingchun sat down, he started the engine.

Song Qingchun lowered her eyes, and when she pressed the button on her phone, she noticed the clothes hidden under the seat. It was all black, and underneath it was a mask and a cap.

Song Qingchun only glanced at it briefly before pretending not to see anything. She closed her eyes like she was tired and started to rest.

Actually, Song Qingchun hadn't fallen asleep. Even though her eyes were closed, she knew the taxi driver had turned around to pluck her phone out of her fingers when the taxi driver had stopped midway.

However, she didn't open her eyes. After half an hour, she rubbed her eyes and opened her eyelids with a sleepy look.

She was stunned for a moment, then looked out of the window and found that the car had already left Beijing and was on the highway. She asked doubtfully, "Where are we?" Then, he immediately sat up straight as if he didn't know anything. He patted the back seat of the taxi driver and said, "Sir, you're driving the wrong way …"

The taxi driver acted as if he hadn't heard her and continued to step on the accelerator.

There was a fence between the back seat and the front seat, so Song Qingchun was unable to reach the driver. She turned around to pull on the door, but she realized the car was locked from the inside. She pretended to be panicking and asked the driver where he was taking her while she searched for her phone, preparing to call the police.

Unable to find her phone, she began to panic and become afraid. She began to cry and beg the taxi driver.

The taxi driver turned a deaf ear and didn't respond at all. He just stared at the road ahead and drove at high speed.
