The old nanny had told her that this place was bought by Jin Ze many years ago. It had never been made public, so not many people knew the address.

Most of the time, other than Jin Ze, no one would come to disturb him.

Therefore, the person who was ringing the doorbell had to be the owner of this place.

Cheng Qingchong, who was sitting in the living room, bit on her lips. She stood up and was about to open the door when someone keyed in the password and walked into the house.

Jin Ze stood at the front door. As he removed his jacket, he glanced at Cheng Qingchong. He frowned and pointed at the shoe rack. "Slippers."

Cheng Qingchong replied with an "oh" and stood where she was for another two seconds before rushing to Jin Ze's side. She pulled open the shoe rack, pulled out a pair of slippers, and placed them neatly before Jin Ze.

Jin Ze changed into the slippers and walked toward the wine cabinet. He took out an opened bottle of red wine and a wine glass. When he poured the wine, he saw Cheng Qingchong still standing at the front door, so he said, "Bath water."

Cheng Qingchong nodded heavily at him twice like a robot before running into the main bedroom.

About twenty minutes later, Cheng Qingchong came out. She stood at the door and said softly, "The bath water is ready."

Jin Ze glanced at Cheng Qingchong but didn't say anything. He picked up the glass and downed the remaining wine. Then, he put the glass down and walked into the bathroom.

When Jin Ze removed his shirt, he suddenly remembered he hadn't brought his home clothes with him, so he called out, "Xiao Yin."

Cheng Qingchong didn't respond.

Jin Ze shouted "Xiaoyin" again, and she suddenly realized that he was calling her.

Xiao Yin was the name of Jin Ze's deceased wife. She was his wife's substitute. He had told her that she needed to be his wife's shadow before him, but she just hadn't gotten used to it yet.

Cheng Qingchong quickly nodded, and then she heard Jin Ze's voice again. "Changing room, help me get that set of pajamas."

After a pause, Jin Ze added, "The blue one."

Once she entered the changing room, Cheng Qingchong saw the blue pajamas that Jin Ze mentioned. They were old, and the edges were frayed.

The old nanny already knew that he would come today, so she took out the pajamas and washed them by hand yesterday.

Cheng Qingchong was confused. Jin Ze was so rich, but why was he still wearing the clothes that were so old?

Although she didn't say it out loud, the old nanny probably saw the doubt in her heart and told her that the clothes were bought for Jin Ze when Mrs. Jin was still alive.

When Cheng Qingchong stepped into the bathroom with her pajamas, Jin Ze was already naked. He was soaking in the large bathtub that was big enough to hold several people. Thankfully, there was a bubble bath inside that covered most of his body. Even so, Cheng Qingchong's face was still red. She didn't dare raise her head. She put down her clothes and hurried out of the bathroom.

When Jin Ze came out of the bath, the nanny had already prepared dinner.

After dinner, the old nanny packed up and left Jin Ze's house.

Soon, only Jin Ze and Cheng Qingchong were left in the house, and Cheng Qingchong's nervousness increased.

Jin Ze was probably tired from the long trip and the long flight. It was only 10 pm when he told Cheng Qingchong, "Let's go to sleep."
