Schilling's Shadow used her memory to find her way back to the Xi family.
The courtyard she lived in was the coldest part of the Xi family. Coincidentally, there was a towering tree right outside the wall. Therefore, even if the Schilling's Shadow from the past hadn't been here before, Schilling's Shadow could easily find the correct location.
Just as she reached the tree, she heard a loud noise coming from behind the wall.
"Stupid girl, Miss Nine is already dead. Why are you still hiding her things? You want to keep them for yourself? I'll beat you to death!"
Then came the sound of punches and kicks.
"Ah!" A pained scream followed. "I won't give them to you. They belong to Miss Nine. Even if you beat me to death, I won't give them to you."
It was Schilling's Shadow's personal maid, Lan'er's voice!
"You're very stubborn, aren't you? Fine, let's see if you can be tougher than a rock. "
Xi Nuoying agilely climbed up the wall with the help of the large tree. When she saw the scene in the courtyard, her face suddenly turned cold.
In the courtyard, her personal maidservant, Lan 'er, had a head of black hair that had been scratched until it was unrecognizable. It hung messily on her face, and her clothes were in tatters. Her face and body were covered in bruises …
Even so, she still hugged a small bundle tightly to her chest.
She recognized the bundle. It was filled with the little things her father gave her before he disappeared. They were worthless now, so Lan'er definitely wasn't trying to take them for herself. She was protecting them.
Xi Nuoying's heart warmed, and she jumped down from the high wall, and looked around.
There were four maids in the courtyard. Three of them were still beating up Lan'er, and the last one had gone to pick up a rock. If that person hit Lan'er with a rock … the consequences would be unimaginable.
Naturally, she couldn't just sit and watch.
Suddenly, she found something good in the corner and hurriedly picked it up. It was an old metal disc covered in dust. It should be the kind of tray used to hold snacks.
The tray wasn't big … but it was enough.
She climbed up the high wall again and happened to see the servant girl coming back with the stone. She heard the servant girl say arrogantly to the other three people.
"Hold her tight. I want to see if her bones are harder than a rock."
The other three people showed a wild smile. Two of them grabbed Lan'er's hands, and the bundle in her arms fell to the ground.
The third person quickly squatted down and grabbed the bag. "I got it."
The stone was not too big, but it was definitely not small either. The maid held it up, showed a sinister smile, and smashed it on Lan'er's head.
In the nick of time, Schilling's Shadow threw the frisbee with all his might.
A round metal plate flew down from the sky, spiraling down with a fierce and powerful momentum.
It hit the pair of hands holding the stone. She didn't have time to react, and her hands went limp.
The stone immediately fell from above and smashed into her face, causing her to faint. Moreover, her face was badly mutilated because she had picked a stone with a sharp edge.
After hitting the first person, the round plate didn't stop. Instead, it hit the second person who was holding the bundle.
The maid was sent flying and fell heavily on the ground. She spat out blood and fainted.
The other two maids saw that the situation was not right. Although they were puzzled, they didn't dare to stay any longer. Of course, they screamed and ran away.
The one who ran fast thought that she could get out of danger. Unexpectedly, the one who was in a miserable state fell down after the round plate hit her head.
