"Sister Luosang, in the future, if anyone bullies you in Xia City, just call me. If you get into trouble or end up in jail, you can contact me." Nian Xi patted her chest warmly and said, "There's nothing I can't do." Luosang nodded.
"Eh …" Luo Sang.
If something bad happened to her, she'd better not contact her for the rest of her life.
"I'm afraid she won't contact you for the rest of her life," said Nian Junting blandly. "She's going back to An City."
"An City? Then I really don't know what to do," said Nian Xi regretfully. "My power hasn't expanded there yet."
Nian Junting was speechless. "You don't have any power in Xia City, do you? You've been working here for so long, but you're still running errands for others. Every time something happens, you come to me for help."
Nian Xi glared at him and said, "Go to hell."
Luo Sang chuckled.
If it weren't for revenge and to realize her dream, she might have stayed.
The Nian family was a nice place, and it made her feel warmth that she hadn't felt for a long time.
The next day, Steward Wu was sent back to Tianhu Villa.
Luo Sang moved out of Nian Junting's bedroom and slept in the living room. She did that to make it easier for her to take care of him at night, but it was no longer necessary.
At night, Nian Junting tossed and turned. He couldn't sleep. He raised his head and glanced at the window. Before, there was a bed there, but it had been removed. A few beams of moonlight shone on the parquet floor, glowing faintly.
He wasn't used to it, so he lay back down.
He finally fell asleep, but woke up in the middle of the night. He was thirsty and wanted to drink some water. He called Luo Sang a few times, but no one responded to him.
He sat up angrily. A second later, he remembered that Luo Sang was sleeping in the guest room, and she was leaving tomorrow.
Early in the morning, he went downstairs with dark circles under his eyes. Luo Sang greeted him with a big grin. "Mr. Nian, did you sleep well last night?" she asked.
"Do I look like I slept well to you?" Nian Junting coldly glanced at her face. She did sleep well. Her dark skin was glowing, and her lips were moist. She didn't seem sad or angry at all.
That didn't make sense.
"You did sleep well," he said.
Luo Sang didn't hear the sarcasm in his tone. She smiled and said, "Yeah, because I don't have to get up several times at night to get you water and help you to the bathroom. I can sleep until dawn."
Hearing that, Nian Junting's face darkened even more. "What do you mean? Are you going to say that I'm the reason why you couldn't sleep well before?"
"…"
Isn't it obvious?
She didn't know what Nian Junting was thinking, but as she was leaving soon, she hurriedly said with a sad voice, "No, it's my honor to take care of you, Mr. Nian."
"It's indeed your honor. You've taken all my advantages," said Nian Junting with a complicated look on his face. "Ever since I was a kid, no woman … has ever touched my little Junting like you do."
Luo Sang felt embarrassed.
No matter how accustomed she was to it, her cheeks still turned red.
Seeing the blush on her cheeks, Nian Junting was suddenly in a better mood. He gave a slight smile and said, "So … you should be content with what you have, and don't have any regrets."
Luo Sang was speechless.
"Um … Mr. Nian, let's have breakfast. I should leave after that." She would go crazy if they kept talking like this.
Nian Junting pressed his lips together and asked, "How are you leaving?"
