Just as Qiao Anhao was hesitating if she should knock on the door to grab her things, the tightly shut door in front of her was suddenly flung open. Then, a few things were thrown out. Before she could see clearly what was going on, the door was slammed shut with a loud bang.

Lu Jinnian returned to the bedroom. When he was about to grab a cigarette from the bedside table, he realized that there was a box of medicine on the table. It was the fever medicine that Qiao Anhao had bought. Lu Jinnian's gaze dimmed slightly. He picked it up and threw it into the bin. Then, he lit a cigarette and walked to the window. He took two deep puffs, the smell of tobacco entering his stomach, calming him down slightly.

After holding it in his mouth for a long while, he slowly spat it out. Through the smoke, he clearly saw Qiao Anhao open the car door and get in. Not even half a minute later, the car started and left.
Lu Jinnian waited until the car was out of sight before raising his hand to take another puff of the cigarette. He put it out in the ashtray on the balcony and continued to stand on the balcony for a while. Then, he turned around and walked back to the bedroom. He picked up his phone and made a call. "The second female lead for 'Alluring Times', leave it empty, I want to give it to someone else.
"Also, cancel all of my upcoming jobs and shows. I want to be the second male lead for 'Alluring Times'."

He stared at it for a long time, then stood up shakily, walked to the trash can, and picked up the box of antipyretics from inside.
