Every day, Tang Yue would wander around the set in a wheelchair. Aside from when she needed a close-up of her face, she used a stunt double most of the time. Perhaps she was afraid that Asha would take revenge on her, but she kept her distance from Asha at all times.
Today's scene involved the use of a helicopter. Asha and Depp were going to fight on the plane.
"Asha!" Depp had been complaining to her for the past few days. After sending her to the hospital, Wan Qingsi had chased him away before he could do anything. Later, when he wanted to visit her at home, Wan Qingsi wouldn't let him.
Asha saw the resentment on Depp's face. She thought he was still upset about what had happened. "I hate flying," Depp said.
"Then how did you get here from America?"
"I fell asleep as soon as I got on the plane. I couldn't keep my eyes open," Depp cursed. "Ken said it was all post-production effects. There was no plane at all!"
Asha patted him sympathetically. "Aren't you his friend? Why don't you know him better?"
"That's right!" Depp gritted his teeth. "Ken's words can't be trusted."
In the scene, Asha and Depp would fight on the ground. Then, Asha would jump onto the plane and try to escape. Depp would chase after her relentlessly. Once the plane took off and the two of them fought inside, the scene would be over.
But when the plane took off, the director shouted "cut," and everyone watched as the plane flew further and further away.
After a moment of silence, Zhou Na was the first to react. "Who's flying the plane? Hurry up and contact them!" She pulled out her phone and called Wan Qingsi.
"Director, we found a fainted person in the break room." Two crew members walked over, supporting a man.
"It's the pilot who flew the plane here!" someone shouted.
"Who's on the plane right now?"
Wan Qingsi rushed to the set as soon as he received the call. After he learned about the situation, he drove away. By now, it was certain that Asha had been kidnapped.
Lin Musheng had just come out of the shower when he heard the sound of an argument at the door.
"What's going on?" Wan Qingsi barged into the room as soon as he finished speaking. "Lin Musheng, did you do this?"
Lin Musheng asked coolly while drying his hair, "I've done a lot of things. Which one are you talking about?"
"Were you the one who kidnapped Mei Jing with a helicopter?" Wan Qingsi asked, glaring at Wan Qingsi with his fists clenched.
"I didn't do it." Lin Musheng thought for a moment. "Who else did your woman offend?"
Wan Qingsi stared at her. "You better not be lying to me, or I won't give the Lin family any face."
"The Lin family doesn't need you to give them face." Lin Musheng frowned. "Since I said I wouldn't pursue the matter, I won't go back on my word. I didn't touch her."
Wan Qingsi turned around and left. When he reached the door, the man who opened the door for him had a strange look on his face. Wan Qingsi glanced at him, frowned, and walked away quickly.
After leaving the hotel, he took out his phone.
"Asha might have been kidnapped."
"What?" Ying Qingcang roared.
Wan Qingsi explained the situation to him.
"I'll arrange for a helicopter to search the area immediately." Before Ying Qingcang hung up, he reminded Wan Qingsi. "Think about who might have done it."
The car suddenly turned around. Wan Qingsi could only think of one person.
Lin Musheng hesitated for a long time. Just as he was about to send his men out to investigate the situation, Wan Qingsi returned. An Ru was still in his hands.
"Brother!" Wan Qingsi pushed An Ru to the ground. A gun was pointed at her head.
"What are you doing, Wan Qingsi?" Lin Musheng was furious. It had been a long time since someone had threatened him.
Wan Qingsi kicked An Ru. "I don't care if you know it or not. I'm certain that An Ru did it. Either I kill her, or you make her tell me where the helicopter is."
"An Ru, did you do it?"
An Ru looked at Lin Musheng and cried. "I didn't do it! I don't know anything!" She turned to Wan Qingsi. "Qingsi, how could you do this to me? How could you? "
"Shut up." Wan Qingsi stepped on her head. "Don't disgust me. If you don't tell me the truth, I'll make a hole in your face."
Lin Musheng's eyes glinted fiercely. With a wave of his hand, several of his men pulled out guns and pointed them at Wan Qingsi.
"Don't push it too far. Let her go!"
Wan Qingsi pointed the gun at An Ru's head. "Tell me where the helicopter is. I'll count to three."
"One."
"Wan Qingsi, are you really not afraid of death?" Lin Musheng's eyes turned cold. He took two steps forward.
"Two."
"Boss!" Ding Quan said nervously. "I'll kill him!"
"Three."
Wan Qingcang pulled the trigger. An Ru screamed. In a flash, Ding Quan sent Wan Qingcang flying.
"Bang!" A gunshot rang out. The bullet grazed the tip of An Ru's nose and sank into the floor. Her nose was soon covered in blood.
Before anyone could react, Wan Qingsi had already jumped to his feet and returned to An Ru's side. Once again, he pointed the gun at her head.
"Wah …" An Ru burst into tears. "I'll talk. I'll talk …"
Ding Quan suddenly fell to his knees in front of Lin Musheng. "Boss, it wasn't the young miss. It was me."
When Asha realized that something was wrong, she hurriedly helped Depp put on their landing bags. Then, she tried to open the cockpit door.
The pilot was shocked when he saw her. He was about to make a phone call when Asha grabbed his hand. The two of them began to wrestle with each other. The phone was tossed out of the window.
"Go back!" Asha shouted, her hand around the pilot's neck. The pilot struggled with all his might. Finally, he pressed a button somewhere. The door to the cockpit flew open, and he fell out of the plane.
Asha tried to stop him, but she realized that the plane was about to crash into the mountain. She hurried to the back of the plane and grabbed Depp, who was curled up in a corner. Then, she jumped out of the plane with him in her arms.
Depp yelped in fright. Ah Sha opened his parachute first, then her own. She looked down and saw that it was a forest. She breathed a sigh of relief.
At least it was better than being in the sea …
Asha landed on a tree. Her parachute hung a few times before she fell off the tree. She scrambled to her feet and jumped a few times. Then, she realized that her parachute wasn't broken. There were only a few cuts on her arms.
"Depp!" Asha yelled.
A faint moan came from not far away. Asha hurried over and saw Depp hanging from a tree. His parachute was still halfway down.
"Pfft!" She laughed. "You look like a corpse."
Depp was hanging upside down. He looked like he was about to throw up. When he heard her words, he began to struggle. Asha was about to tell him not to move when she heard a tearing sound. The parachute broke in half, and Depp fell to the ground with a thud.
"Are you okay?" Asha quickly helped him up. "Move a little."
Depp moved his limbs stiffly. "I'm fine … Where are we?"
"We're deep in the forest!" Asha looked around. "Look at these trees. They're hundreds of years old. We must be deep in the forest."
"Damn it." Depp massaged his neck. "If I find out who did this, I'll kill them."
Ah Sha rolled up both of their parachutes and strapped them to Depp's waist.
"What are you doing?"
"It's getting dark. We'll have to spend the night here. We don't have anything except these two rags." Asha sighed. She wouldn't have been afraid if they'd been training in the forest. But they didn't have anything on them right now. They couldn't contact the outside world either.
"Damn it!" Depp realized the problem. They were in costume when they were filming a movie. They didn't even have their phones with them.
Asha put her hands on her hips and looked around. "Let's go this way. We need to find a leeward place."
They were lucky. They found a cave after walking for a short distance.
"Are there any wild animals in there?" Depp curled up behind her like a little girl.
Asha nodded. "That's why you should go in first."
"No!" Depp shrieked.
Asha glanced at him and was about to enter the cave when Depp stopped her.
"No," Depp said. "If anything happens to you, how am I supposed to explain it to Ken?" He pushed Asha away. "I'll do it!"
"Okay!" Asha gestured for him to enter. Depp closed his eyes and rushed in. Before he could open his eyes, Asha patted him on the back. "Don't worry," she said. "It's been a long time since anything came in or out of this cave."
Depp opened his eyes. He looked at the cave, which could fit five or six people. "How did you know?"
"The bushes near the entrance are growing well. There are no signs of being stepped on," Asha said as she untied Depp's parachute and laid it out on the ground.
Depp realized that Asha had been very calm since the incident. She didn't seem like her usual spoiled self at all. Why wasn't she afraid? How did she know so much?
Before he could ask, Asha ordered, "Go pick up some dry sticks nearby. We need to start a fire. I'll go look around and see if there's anything we can eat."
Depp didn't dare go too far. After he picked up some firewood, he realized that Asha hadn't returned yet. He went out to pick up more sticks. After three trips, Asha finally returned with a bag full of things in her hat.
"There's nothing here except for these wild fruits."
"These aren't poisonous, are they?" Depp picked up a red one.
Asha began to pack up the firewood. "They're not poisonous. Eat them sparingly! If we can't get out of here by tomorrow, I don't know if there'll be anything left to eat. "
Depp didn't dare eat anymore. He wasn't hungry anyway.
"Go to the entrance and drag a bigger piece of wood back," Asha ordered him again. Depp ran out without another word.
Soon, it was dark outside. The night was quiet in the mountains, save for the occasional strange chirping of birds and the sound of the wind.
Inside the cave, Asha used extra sticks to block the entrance of the cave from the wind. The two of them sat around the fire. To be exact, Asha was sitting there eating fruits while Depp was drilling a stick into the wood to start the fire.
Half an hour ago, Asha had started the fire just like that. Depp was stunned.
"Tell me honestly, Asha. What do you do for a living?" Depp tossed the stick aside and gave up.
This wasn't something an ordinary person could do!
Asha yawned. "I've participated in a few survival training sessions. That's nothing. You're just too pampered!"
"You're always so spoiled!" Depp couldn't believe it. "How did you become so different all of a sudden? How can you be so powerful?"
Asha glanced at him. "I went with Xunxun. He knows how to do that too. You can ask him if you don't believe me."
Meanwhile, Wan Qingsi was on the other side of the forest …
