At this moment, Zhang Yu reached out with his hand. Something flew over from afar and landed in his hand. It was the jade stone in Bai Qun's hand, which was also the fragment of the Initiation Seal. After he died, this thing was left behind.
The key here was this "Initiation Seal".
Bai Qun and Qing Shuo had once comprehended the Initiation Seal together. Although they couldn't use this item, they could sense the "self" and see various things about Tianxia.
When the will fell, the Qi would arrive, and the Qi would exist. Therefore, Bai Qun and Qing Shuo's divine Qi, or rather, the "self" divine Qi, hadn't completely disappeared. It just didn't exist in this world, but it could still be found in Tianxia.
It was just that he came from Tianxia and now stood in this world, so he couldn't sense it. Only when he came out of this world and returned to Tianxia could he collect the "self" divine Qi and make up for the lack of Taoism.
With this thought, he immediately tore open the formation screen and met with Yingxiong, Shi Yanxin, and Yao Zhenjun. He thanked them for their help.
The three of them exchanged a few words with him. Seeing that there was nothing else to do, they all left. Only Zhang Yu was left in the formation. He didn't leave. Instead, he waved his sleeve and turned the formation to block the disturbance outside. He returned to the center of the formation and sat down.
With a move of his mind, a grand light screen rose and illuminated the sky. The Great Dao Chapter had already appeared around him.
His gaze shifted downwards and landed on the jade stone in his hand. As soon as his will landed, his aura resonated with it. After a while, the "Opening Seal" on the Great Dao Chapter gradually lit up, as if it had been mended a little.
On the surface, the jade stone in his hand didn't seem to have any changes. However, the bit of spirituality that originally existed was lost because of this.
He didn't throw it away. Instead, he put it in his sleeve.
After obtaining this remnant seal, he felt that there were even more changes in the seal. After silently sensing it for a while, his thoughts involuntarily turned to the matter of killing the "Upper Self".
Although he had introduced many of his fellow Daoists into the Dao of Xuan along the way and had even asked for help from his fellow Daoists, in the end, it was still following the path of seeking the Dao of True Dharma of the Dao of Ascension.
This was because even if he was a True Dharma cultivator, when he arrived in the world of Daoism, he could similarly use the method of drawing in external forces to get his fellow Daoists to help him, allowing them to deal with the "Shang Wo" together. This was also because the heavens had a sliver of a chance of survival. Otherwise, in terms of strength, it was simply impossible to surpass the "Shang Wo", so there was no need to compete.
So from the looks of it, at least until now, the Dao that he had walked was not much different from the True Dharma. The only difference was that his methods were slightly different.
However, he cultivated the Profound Method. The method he sought was definitely different from the True Method. But what exactly was the difference? Even the five adepts found it hard to say.
But he could faintly sense that he should still be able to do something, and he could do it even better. This was the true crux of the matter regarding his Dao. He should have found it.
As the person who opened the Dao with the Profound Method, he had to search for all of this himself. If he searched for it himself, no one would come over to inform him.
He stood up and walked a few steps on the spot. After pondering for a moment, he gradually sorted out some ideas.
Regardless of whether it was the Profound Method or the True Method, the Dao was still interlinked. Just like the methods he sought all along the way in the past, they all followed the principles and were all attached to the Great Dao. So no matter how he walked, he would be able to stride over it.
The true difference between these two was that the True Method was to strive for oneself. So starting from the external perception, it was to ceaselessly fight with the external self until it became one.
However, the Profound Method was different. The Profound Method paid particular attention to inclusiveness, taking the various Daos as one's own Dao. What it pursued was the commonality of belief, and not just the commonality of strength.
When this thought came to his mind, a bit of inspiration suddenly flashed through his mind, as if he had instantly grasped something. After pausing on the spot for a moment, he suddenly became enlightened. He walked quickly to the center of the formation again and sat down cross-legged.
Actually, it was not that he had not thought of some principles in the past. It was just that he had not reached this step and did not know what the real changes were. That was just baseless thinking, and it was difficult to prove.
The True Method could still refer to the path taken by the predecessors, but he could only explore it himself. However, as the person who opened the Dao with the Profound Method, although he could obtain the benefits of opening the Dao, he also had to experience the sharpening of opening the Dao.
Just now, he had a thought in his mind. This time, the "upper self" was destroyed, and he had to return to Tianxia before he could make up for it completely. There was a gap in between, and it also gave him a chance.
At this moment, if he saw himself as the "upper self", in fact, after killing Bai Hao and Qing Shuo, before he returned to Tianxia and completed his work, he was the "upper self" of this world.
If there was an "upper self", then there could be an "outer self". He could use the opening seal to take the initiative to feel the outer self. Logically speaking, he could use this gap to lead another "me" to make up for this "outer self" divine Qi!
And this "me" seemed to be "born in the air", and he did not know where it came from. Therefore, this could only be done logically, but in fact, it was impossible to see.
However, he had the seal of the Great Way, and with the help of the opening seal that represented "self", as long as it was logically allowed, and the conditions were met, then it could be pushed and done.
Speaking of which, the world of Dao was also creating something out of nothing, and this move faintly coincided with this mystery.
And all of this was not the end. After he returned to Tianxia, he could still obtain the divine Qi of Bai Hao and Qing Shuo, and from this, he could improve his Dao to another level!
However, in his mind, this method was looking for the flaw of heaven and earth, and all things were always in motion, constantly changing. Therefore, he did not know when he would not be able to do it. He could not continue waiting, or else he might miss the opportunity. He had to start now, and there was not much time for hesitation.
Therefore, after this world of Dao lost the "upper self", he should be able to sit here for a long time until he made up for all the deficiencies in the Dao of Dao's transformations, but now, he had no choice but to do so. This was also the cycle of the heavens. There was a gain and a loss, and he could only choose one of the two.
However, he did not hesitate much. Dao's transformations could be slowly cultivated in the future, but it was more important for his Dao to be perfect.
The former was only seeking from the inside, unearthing his own ability to fight against enemies, but the latter was to make up for his shortcomings, allowing his Dao to have a wider upper limit. In comparison, he naturally requested for the latter.
At this moment, he restrained his thoughts and immediately activated the opening seal, using the imperfection of the mysteries of heaven to sense the outside. It seemed that after a long time, another "me" appeared from the void, and it descended towards this world.
As he activated the opening seal and released everything outside, it only took an instant for it to descend into the place where his spirit resided, but it did not descend into the world.
He suddenly understood something. Although the "me" that came this time was the "outer self", which meant that it existed in reality, but because it did not have a body, it was invisible. This way, it did not go against the operation of the world, nor did it go against the principles. It could be said that the Great Dao of Myriad Transformations was mysterious without reason, and it maintained its balance.
After that strand of "me" divine Qi descended into the place where his spirit resided, it could be said that it did not stop, and it went straight to where he was.
He looked over with rapt attention. Using this method, this place was not completely without danger. If the Dao intent between the "outer self" and him did not match, another battle and killing was unavoidable.
If the battle failed, perhaps he would also perish. This was also the last obstacle of the mysteries of heaven.
If it was a true method, then it should eliminate this "me" and take the divine Qi, but he cultivated a profound method. What the profound method fought for was not a force, but a thought. If the two Dao intents were the same, then they could naturally merge into one, and not separate from each other.
It should be known that all the worlds that sought the superior method had collapsed, and only Tianxia and the world of Dao still existed. Now that he was the superior self, and now that he had the "outer self", it was either the reflection of the "me" or the "me" of the "Tianxia". No matter what kind of "outer self" the Dao intent was, it was the same as his. There was no doubt that the two divine Qi could merge into one, just like how Bai Hao and Qing Shuo merged their divine Qi.
Therefore, at this moment, he did not make any reaction. He allowed the Qi to come, and it rushed into his own divine Qi, and merged into one with a loud bang!
The two divine Qi hugged each other as if they were a natural combination, and there was no barrier at all. It was as if the parts that were originally separated had gathered again, and merged together again. At the same time, all kinds of principles and mysteries were reflected together.
In the great formation of the world, Zhang Yu's body felt a gush of power pouring into his body. In an instant, his heart shone brightly, and the light rushed into the sky, illuminating the sky, and the whole world could see it!
At this moment, he could see that the entire world of Dao seemed to have solidified, and he seemed to be distancing himself from this world. This was because in this world, the more complete his Dao was, the further he would be away from this world. Then, he heard a long and drawn-out chime of a bell.
Zhang Yu opened his eyes and found himself sitting in the Qing Xuan Daoist Palace. In front of him, green smoke rose in spirals from the cauldron as if he had never left. He muttered to himself for a moment, and with a call in his heart, he summoned the Da Dao Chapter. Then, he looked at the Qi Seal and pushed it. In an instant, a gush of divine Qi came from nowhere, and fell into the place where his spirit was, and merged with his divine Qi.
This was the divine Qi of Bai Hao and Qing Shuo. No matter how much divine Qi there was, it only depended on whether it existed or not. As this Qi was completely absorbed by him, streaks of it came out of nowhere and fell on his body.
At the same time, a mystical and profound feeling arose from the bottom of his heart, and he was continuously comprehending the principles. The flaws in the Dao were being continuously eliminated by him, and every time a flaw was eliminated, it would be completely replenished, causing it to gradually move towards perfection.
At this moment, he heard the sound of a cicada, and a brilliant Star Cicada flew out from his body. It flapped its wings that were like the Milky Way, and it circled around him in the air. The Yunzhi Jade Platform under him appeared on its own, and a faint mysterious sound was heard. Starlight and clouds surged out of the main hall, and shone into the sea of clouds.
After this momentum lasted for a long time, the divine Qi in his eyes slowly withdrew, and he also withdrew his Qi. After a moment, he recited, "Cultivating the Dao, cultivating the heart, and only cultivating oneself. Dao transforms into mystery, and name is a mechanism. Cutting off all self to see the true self, and only then will I know that the human heart contains the will of heaven!"
