Land of Ownerless Summary and Interviewer (Free Chapter)
Alright, the troubled Land of Ownerless chapter has come to an end.
If I had to give myself a score, I'd give Land of Ownerless 35 out of 100. Hmm, the extra 5 points is because of my persistence.
When I first started writing Land of Ownerless 2, I was actually very hesitant. This was a very good game, very good indeed. Especially the way the world was shaped and the characters were very outstanding. It was very on point. But because of this game's outstanding personality, I still had some expectations of the difficulty of this world.
Moreover, Little Mirror really liked this game and the world it created. The worldview of No Man's Land is actually similar to that of Mad Max. It's the kind that completely vents out the craziest and most primitive side of human nature. Everyone in it is irrational, even neurotic.
But it was also because of this that every character in Land of No Man's Domain was so distinctive. Even the character with the weakest presence in a first-person shooting game, the protagonist himself, was perfected through a large number of lines and recordings.
So, Little Mirror still started writing.
The goal of this world is actually very clear. Kill Tendo, obtain Hyperion Corporation's technology, and pave the way for the future plot. But in the process of writing, I encountered too many problems.
Because I laid out the plot too much at the beginning, there were too many things I wanted to write, but in the end, I still couldn't get into the main plot. There were too many characters, and I wanted to shape each of them, but in the end, these characters didn't achieve the effect that I wanted.
Strictly speaking, there wasn't even a need to describe the Battle of the Bloodlust Fortress. That was because the Main Storyline's main objective was to capture Roland and hand him over to the handsome Jack, as well as show off their muscles to the experimenters. But in reality, the battle took nearly 20 chapters.
What was even more fatal was that while I was in a dilemma, the book was sealed. This was a huge blow to my head. You have to know that my book was at its peak at the time, and it had just made it to the mobile app's recommendation page with a very good result. If it continued on this momentum, I was confident that it could become a premium product.
After that, I spent the entire night changing the request. However, if I wanted to unseal it, I needed to go through some procedures, so I lost contact with them for a week.
This blow was very, very fatal, so much so that after returning, the lowest subscription for this book was only one-fifth or even one-tenth of what it was before! At the time, Little Jing was seriously considering cutting out this book and moving on to the next one. She had even started writing the outline.
However, with the encouragement of my fellow readers, I decided to persevere. However, this also caused his writing condition to be very bad during that time. He only had two chapters a day.
One could only say that Little Jing was still too inexperienced in this matter. Of course, I did need to do the necessary driving and description, but I couldn't go too overboard. I didn't have a good grasp of this, so being banned was my punishment for being immature.
Fortunately, I gradually found the rhythm. I didn't expect this book to reach a high level, but I still promised to give a happy ending. I didn't want to end it hastily. I wanted to tell the complete story of Tang Yu. Hmm, I might finish this book in the second half of next year.
Speaking of this chapter, there were two characters that I spent a lot of time on: Craftsman Shi and Handsome Jack.
Handsome Jack was actually a very complicated person. He was one of the most brilliant villains in all kinds of games in recent years. He wasn't the kind of boss that was stereotyped. In fact, many things about him were unconventional, and this was what Little Jing admired the most about him. First of all, he was an insignificant character. The dialogue in the game was filled with the impression of a petty person who had become a nouveau riche. However, he also had persistence and emotions. Although they were all twisted.
His persistence was that he didn't want others to treat him as an insignificant character. His emotions came from his daughter, Angel. However, in order to become a big character, he built statues everywhere. He forced others to call him Handsome Jack and forced them to bring strict order to Pandora Planet. He also loved his daughter, but he used her as the key to charge the treasure and suffered all kinds of torture. It all reflected the twisted and contradictory nature of this person.
Due to the lack of space, my description of him is limited. However, overall, I give this character 70 points out of 100. I wrote about his neurosis, his madness, his inferiority complex, and his desire, but I couldn't write out the ubiquitous dark humor in his dialogue. What satisfied me the most was his ending. He died under the statue that he built for himself.
Then there was Craftsman Shi.
I've spent a lot of time laying the foundation for this person, and I've successfully shaped him into a powerful, yet humble, powerhouse. This person was upright, valued reputation, and cherished his companions. In many aspects, he was actually a positive character. The only problem was that he stood on the opposite side of the main character.
Of course, it was somewhat disappointing that he died in a single battle after laying so much foundation. However, from Little Jing's point of view, it was better to let such a character return to his nest in defeat than to let him die on the battlefield. Of course, he didn't die a spectacular death. He died in an environment where everything was disadvantageous to him. After all, he was indeed much stronger than Tang Yu.
Craftsman Shi was the first of the three bosses that I designed, so I didn't have to tangle with him for too long. After all, the main character still had to move forward. Actually, everyone could guess what would happen next. The Yun Nation's Amaterasu and the Diamond Group's Infinite Thunder God.
Alright, that's it for now. I hope that I can do better in the future and make fewer mistakes like this so that I can bring everyone a more exciting novel.

Then it was time for the minor characters ~ ~ ~
First was the minstrel, Nemo! He was played by his book friend, Nemo!
Little Jing: Why did you want a character like a minstrel?
Nemo: Because a minstrel can drink!
Little Jing: Eh? Alcohol?
Nemo: I was drunk once because of love, and it was unforgettable. That's why I hoped that Nemo could drink more alcohol. I heard that drunk people don't think too much and don't feel pain.
Little Jing: Is that the reason?
Nemo (plucking the strings): I didn't return on time. That's the meaning of a formal farewell.
Little Jing: Uh … Next …
…
Dark Templar, Ham-El! The actor was a book friend, Huang Yinglong!
Little Jing: How do you feel about playing a non-human character?
Huang Yinglong: Amazing, very amazing. Understand humans from a different perspective. Understand the highlights of humans. After all, aliens have read about the trisomy.
Little Jing: Eh? Aliens have read about the trisomy?
Huang Yinglong: Ham-El has read some works about the trisomy and humans.
Little Jing: Alright, it seems like this is an alien who really likes human culture! So what do you want to say about Ham-El?
Huang Yinglong: Dark Templar, a very powerful character. It's an honor to play this character, and I have to thank the author. Although the Celestial Spirits are broken up in the novel, every surviving Celestial Spirit doesn't fight alone. However, every surviving Astral Soul did not fight alone. Every Astral Soul warrior was connected to glory and tradition. No matter which team they are in, they will fight side by side with recognized team members. I want to believe that a hero like the main character will awaken and walk the path of being strong.
Little Jing: Mm, I'm looking forward to the performance!
