"Past life, past light, past appearance, eternally existing in the void, is already immortal, the past is immeasurable, no magical power can change what has already happened."
Hong Yi let his spirit out of his shell, bathed in the soft, mercury-like moonlight, the thoughts in his spirit contained the meaning of the word "past".
The beautiful words in the Amitabha Sutra that described the meaning of the "past", the profound thoughts, rippled in his heart. This profound thought, entangled in his spirit, went deep into the nature of Tathagata, became one, and could not be separated.
Since the day he accidentally understood the meaning of the word "past" in the Amitabha Sutra, he felt that his cultivation of condensing the spirit had become much more solid.
In the past, when he cultivated this supreme Buddhist scripture, he only understood a part of the true meaning, which was the appearance of the eternal nature of the Buddha of the past.
Storing this appearance in the spirit, although it could keep the nature of Tathagata unchanged, even if it encountered lightning, it could not be dispersed, but it was still far from the eternal, unchanging state.
But now that he had comprehended the profundity of the 'past' part of the scripture, he stored the thought of this scripture in his divine soul. When Hong Yi looked at the Buddha of the Past in the Amitabha Sutra, he suddenly felt even more complete.
Instantly, Hong Yi felt that his soul seemed to be clear like glass, untainted by even a speck of dust, and like a mirror.
The moonlight in the sky constantly sprinkled down, falling on the spirit.
This kind of moonlight was originally an intangible thing, but Hong Yi's heart was like colored glass, untainted by even a speck of dust. He felt that the moonlight that fell on his body was like soft, smooth silk. When it fell on his body, it was driven by his thoughts, fusing with his divine soul. His entire body felt full.
The moonlight, seemed to be a kind of power!
At this moment.
Hong Yi's spirit, was like a transparent glass, empty, and the moonlight sprinkling from the sky, like mercury, constantly fell into the bottle, filling the bottle.
"Treasure Moon Light King, immeasurable life." In Hong Yi's heart, a paragraph of the Amitabha Sutra that he could not understand, and next to it, there was an exquisite Buddha the size of a fingernail.
The Amitabha Sutra, on this scroll, had a lot of images, almost every paragraph was accompanied by a small image, of course, the biggest image was naturally the Buddha of the past.
When Hong Yi visualized and cultivated, he would only study the general outline of the first part of the scripture, "This is what I have heard". He did not pay attention to the other minor images of the scripture. This was because the scripture was profound and hard to understand. If he were to forcefully cultivate it, he would end up in trouble.
But now, when Hong Yi's spirit was bathed in the moonlight, he felt the moonlight sprinkling, and his thoughts touched, there was a sense of fullness, and suddenly he understood the meaning of a paragraph of the scripture. This paragraph of scripture was about a cultivation method!
This cultivation method was the Great Way of Condensing the Yin Spirit, from controlling objects to manifesting. After mastering it, it would gather the power of the moonlight to train the spirit. If cultivated to great success, after the spirit came out of the shell, with a thought, it would be able to condense the moonlight, and manifest the body, with the same infinite strength, not losing to the Daoist's lead mercury gold and silver body, but more flexible.
This kind of spirit after manifesting through the moonlight was called "Treasure Moon Light King Body".
After mastering it, it could even be like colored glass, condensing the sunlight, and the whole body would shine brightly, flames would fly, like the manifestation of Daoism's Fire Star God!
"This method of condensing the moonlight with thought is like using a round pearl to condense the sunlight, it can ignite trees."
After comprehending this paragraph of scripture, Hong Yi used all his strength to drive his thoughts, and gathered the moonlight that flowed like water onto his body. After a while, Hong Yi suddenly discovered a shocking fact. His spirit, under the illumination of the moonlight, actually had a faint shadow, although this shadow was almost invisible.
"What's going on? The Yin Spirit doesn't have a shadow. " With this discovery, Hong Yi was slightly stunned. The sudden discovery caused his thoughts to scatter, and immediately felt the gathered power of the moonlight immediately disappear, and then the shadow on the ground also disappeared without a trace.
With this scattered thought, Hong Yi felt his spirit was unprecedentedly weak, as if he had just condensed the moonlight, and used up all the power.
"Moonlight is already harmful to the spirit. Those who have just cultivated to the Night Roaming Realm would not dare to wander around in the night of the bright moon. I used my thoughts to condense the moonlight, and it was like playing with fire, it would definitely burn my body, but it's not strange."
After Hong Yi's spirit returned to his body, he activated the Amitabha Sutra to recover, and after a while, he was full of energy again.
In his heart, he silently used his spirit to visualize, comprehending the meaning of the Amitabha Sutra, and cultivated all the way until midnight. The bell outside rang until the second watch, and only then did Hong Yi retract his spirit. In his heart, he thought of the Buddha of Immeasurable Light and Immeasurable Life, and his spirit really felt like it was in the past, unchangeable and unshakable.
After the second watch, on the third watch, Hong Yi woke up. After getting up and washing up, he took advantage of the fact that the sky was still not bright, and the cool and fresh air of the morning, he began to practice martial arts.
He only slept for two hours, but whether it was his physical strength or spirit, he had recovered to the peak.
In fact, ever since he started cultivating the Amitabha Sutra, every time before he slept, his spirit would be immersed in the eternal thought of Buddha Amitabha, and he would be able to fall asleep peacefully and enter the deepest state of sleep, just like the state of "the sage is magnanimous, and has no dreams at night" in etiquette.
This kind of sleep for two hours was no less than ten to twelve hours of sleep for an ordinary person, and the effect was even better.
This caused Hong Yi to have more than twice the time of an ordinary person to practice martial arts, cultivate Taoism, and read books every day.
This was also the reason why he was able to cultivate to the level of a Martial Warrior in almost half a year. In fact, in terms of cultivation time, he was no less than those who spent two to three years to reach the level of a Martial Warrior.
"Hey! Brother Chi, you're also practicing martial arts? "
Just as Hong Yi got into a stance and was about to practice, a person walked out of the house next to him, holding a bow and trying to draw it. It was Chi Zhuiyang.
He was trying to use his newly acquired godly bow, "Penetrating Rainbow". He made a posture of riding a horse, and with force flowing through his arms, he suddenly pulled the super strong bow that had the strength of seven stones. Then, he lightly released it, and the amber-like transparent bowstring suddenly bounced back, cutting the air with a buzzing sound.
Even the bow, which was forged from soft jade and elastic steel, let out a distant sound that sounded like a dragon's roar. It shook people's muscles and bones, and penetrated deep into their bones.
"Good bow, good bow! It really is a godly bow. " Chi Zhuiyang fondled the bow fondly. It was only when Hong Yi said it a second time that this young man came to his senses. A warm smile appeared on his face. "So it's Brother Hong. I've played with this bow all night. It really is a godly treasure."
"Brother Chi also started practicing martial arts at such a young age? However, Brother Chi, since you've taken those three bandits as your slaves, you should be careful. "Hong Yi raised his head.
"They are evil wolves. In my hands, they will become obedient lambs, and the evil dove eagles will become docile chicks." Chi Zhuiyang sneered. "Oh yes, what kind of martial arts does Brother Hong practice? I can see that Brother Hong's martial arts are only at the Martial Warrior Realm, but he can actually use the Ironwood Black Bone Bow and shoot continuously. This is clearly the power of a Martial Master. Brother Hong's physique is really gifted. It's even better than your servant, Shen Tiezhu. "
Faced with this question, it was not the first time that Hong Yi had surprised people. Murong Yan was also surprised, but he did not give a direct answer. He only said, "I practice the Daizen Temple's Ox Demon's Fist of Great Strength, and the Tiger Demon's Bone Fist. I've just reached a certain level. Brother Chi, do you practice the Fish-Dragon's Nine Transformations?"
"Hmm? You even know the Fish-Dragon's Nine Transformations? "Chi Zhuiyang was shocked.
"I'm familiar with martial arts, so I know a lot. However, I lack actual combat experience. Why don't we stay here for a few days and study martial arts?"
"Okay!" Chi Zhuiyang laughed.
"Since that's the case, let's begin!" Hong Yi suddenly pulled out the "Shark Cutter" in his hand and slashed at Chi Zhuiyang with the "Heavenly Wolf Howling at the Moon" move.
The move he used was the "Wolf Moon Sword Art" he learned from Murong Yan.
"Good saber!"
Chi Zhuiyang was actually able to react at this critical moment. He suddenly dodged, and with a backhand strike, he grabbed Hong Yi's wrist like a swimming fish.
Hong Yi felt his wrist go numb, and the saber fell to the ground.
"What kind of technique is this?"
"This is the Flying Fish Shuttle! Bare-Handed Blade Snatching! "
"Again!"
"Sure."
"What kind of technique is this?"
"Hehe, this is the Flying Dragon's Claw! Eh? This move of yours is very ingenious. How did you fuse the Ox Demon's Fist of Great Strength with the Heavenly Coiling Hands? "
"Do you want to know? Haha, try it a few more times and figure it out yourself. Watch me chop your neck! "
"You're cheating? You're obviously trying to cut my belt! "
"Haha, all's fair in war! Brother Chi, don't trust me anymore. Otherwise, it won't look good if your pants are cut off. "Hong Yi's move was a close call. He laughed out loud and launched another strange attack.
"Hmph!"
Hong Yi and the others stayed in Mapletree Town for a full five days.
In these five days, Hong Yi and Chi Zhuiyang wholeheartedly practiced and learned from each other! During the day, they would wake up at midnight to practice their martial arts. At night, they would go to bed.
Chi Zhuiyang was a Xiantian Master in martial arts. He had been through hundreds of battles and had rich experience. He was also proficient in dozens of martial arts. In the five days of sparring, Hong Yi had learned the classic "Nine Transformations of the Fish and Dragon" martial arts that he was most proficient in. Furthermore, he had mastered it with the martial arts that he had practiced. There were signs that he was about to become a Martial Master.
This was because Hong Yi felt that every time he practiced, his bones would feel warm and itchy. This was a sign that his bones were getting tougher.
As for Chi Zhuiyang, he had also benefited a lot. The martial arts that Hong Yi was proficient in were all top-notch martial arts, and he had also learned them.
Moreover, Hong Yi had read the martial arts scriptures annotated by Yin Yue. When he talked with him, he often used Yin Yue's opinion to solve the martial arts problems that Chi Zhuiyang had been puzzled for a long time, which almost made him dance with joy.
Monk Yin Yue was a peerless expert who had half a foot into the Human Immortal Realm. His views and theories were powerful, well-organized, and profound. An ordinary Martial Grandmaster, or even a Martial Sacred, could not compare to him.
At the same time, Mu The Younger and Shen Tiezhu also gained great benefits when they watched Hong Yi ask for advice from Chi Zhuiyang.
During the day, he practiced martial arts wholeheartedly and at night, he rested and practiced his Divine Soul. This was Hong Yi's life for five days.
At the end of the fifth day, when the moonlight shone at night, he was able to condense the moonlight and form a faint shadow! However, he knew that this was not the realm of materialization. It was still the realm of materialization.
The real Moonlight King Body in the Amitabha Sutra could turn one's Divine Soul into a glazed body with a thought.
It was clear and flawless. Even if a sword or saber slashed on the body, it would be like slashing on a vajra glazed body. Sparks would burst out and it would not be damaged at all.
More importantly, after mastering the Moonlight King Body, although it was as tough as a vajra glazed body, it was light and agile. It was much more flexible than the Daoist's Lead Mercury Golden Body. This was because the moonlight was light and not as heavy as lead mercury.
Moreover, the Moonlight King Body could be used not only during the night but also during the day. This was because there was a line in the Amitabha Sutra, "moonlight is sunlight". When Hong Yi read this line, it meant that moonlight was also sunlight.
Daoists also had this kind of cultivation. However, gathering the light of the sun and the moon to wrap around the Divine Soul consumed a lot of the Divine Soul. The Divine Soul was the source of the Divine Soul and could not be damaged at will. Only the Sutra of the Past was the source of the Divine Soul. Only then could one practice the Moonlight King Body without any scruples!
Although the Divine Soul could condense the moonlight and form a faint shadow, which was not a big deal and could not be considered as combat power, Hong Yi felt that when he controlled the blood-patterned steel needles, he was more agile, more powerful, and faster.
Even an expert like Chi Zhuiyang would be flustered and in a precarious situation if he did not use a weapon when his soul left his body and used the blood-patterned steel needle to stab his opponent!
It could be said that Hong Yi's method of materialization could kill a Xiantian master!
After five days of cultivation, Hong Yi felt that he was full of energy and the power in his body was endless. It was as if he had been reborn.
"In about a month, I will go to the Sea of Tranquility in the south. At that time, my martial arts will have reached the realm of a Martial Master. As for my spirit, I'm afraid I can cultivate it to the realm of Manifestation! I will cultivate the Moonlight King Body! The Moonlight King Body has reached the Grand Completion! The Divine Soul can be compared to a Martial Grandmaster. No, it's even more powerful than a Martial Grandmaster. "
Hong Yi mounted the horse and looked at the road ahead with complacency.
Although he knew that the road ahead was dangerous, after five days of cultivation, he had nourished his strength and spirit. Even if there were Gods and Buddhas blocking the road, he would not have the slightest fear!
If Gods and Buddhas obstructed, he would kill Buddhas!
Twelve horses and twelve people galloped on the road. The three brothers of the Black Hawk Mansion also bought three good horses and followed behind Chi Zhuiyang. They did not dare to leave half a step and only lowered their heads to hurry on the road. They were so docile that they did not have the imposing manner of bandits. They were like obedient slaves. No one knew how Chi Zhuiyang managed to make them behave like this.
After passing Mapletree Town, they arrived at another official road.
The few of them galloped at high speed without any hesitation. They were rushing with all their might. It was broad daylight and they were on the official road. No matter how strong the bandits were, they would not dare to come out and kill them. They had the official documents from the Ministry of War and were recommended by the Prince!
The Da Qian Dynasty was still in its golden age. The laws were strict, but it was not so rotten that there would be bandits on the official road!
Hong Yi was very clear about this point after walking for so many days.
"The official road is two hundred miles long. In front of us is Wu Yuansheng in the southern part of the Central Province.
We have to hurry and enter the city before it gets dark! We can rest well for the night and buy some dry rations. We can let the Lion King eat meat and drink milk. We will continue our journey tomorrow! I estimate that we will pass through the Central Province in ten days and enter the southern region. The local official of Wu Yuansheng was recommended by Prince Yu. I still have to meet him. It is very safe here. " Hong Yi used his finger to point at the dark and tall city walls that looked like a mirage in the sky.
He did not have a whip in his hand. The Chasing Lightning Horse was very close to him and did not need a whip.
"Go!"
Everyone present heard Hong Yi's voice and as his voice fell, they all cracked their horsewhips in unison! They hit the buttocks of the horses and galloped forward at high speed!
The sky gradually darkened. It was already dusk and there were few people on the official road.
Suddenly!
The two lion kings suddenly stopped and all the fur on their bodies stood up. They seemed to have sensed something and were about to show their might, but then they seemed to feel great fear. They suddenly prostrated and the fur on their bodies trembled!
"Stop!"
Chi Zhuiyang's expression changed. He was the one who trained the Lion Kings and knew that these two Lion Kings had never been afraid of anything in the grasslands! Even if they were to face a pack of wolves, they would not be afraid. They were like lions. With a roar, they could intimidate even the most ferocious wolf pack!
It could be said that the Lion Kings were the kings of the grasslands.
But now, they were so frightened. What terrifying thing was in front of them?
Seeing the Lion Kings like this, all the horses stopped.
For some reason, there was no one else on the long road. Time seemed to have sped up, and the sky quickly turned dark.
However, it was not the kind of pitch-black darkness where one could not see their fingers in front of them. Instead, it was a night with stars. The stars twinkled in the sky and meteors streaked across the void. It was a majestic starry night!
"Why did it turn dark so quickly? It's already night? Not good! " Chi Zhuiyang looked up at the majestic starry sky and was puzzled. Suddenly, he became alert. The group looked up at the sky and were puzzled.
"Monster!"
Suddenly, Hong Yi's furious roar reached everyone's ears. Everyone felt a golden light flash in their heads, and a vast thought appeared in their minds. The starry sky in front of them suddenly blurred and disappeared. The sun was still setting in the sky, and the official road was still the official road. There was no such thing as nightfall or the magnificent starry sky.
The scene just now was just an illusion.
Just as everyone woke up from their stupor, they saw a woman wearing a yellow dress about seven or eight hundred steps away on the official road. Although they couldn't see her face clearly, just her figure alone was enough to make one suffocate!
