"That guy is an Executioner of the Black Vatican. He's very strong, and most of them are extremely arrogant. There's basically no assassination they can't complete. These people are quite scary," Oleena told Mo Fan.
It was Mo Fan's first time hearing about an Executioner. However, on second thought, it did make sense. The Blue Deacons he had stumbled into were rarely that strong. Most Blue Deacons were hiding in the dark, trying to catch people off guard!
"They sent an Executioner to deal with you. It seems like you're very important to the Black Vatican," the Purple Wind Temple Mage said.
"Either way, don't leave the Sacred Hall of Liberty for the time being. An Executioner is unpredictable, and they're very good at disguising themselves. Once, an Executioner of the Black Vatican tried to commit murder in a national Magic Association, and managed to escape. If you don't want to die young, you should wait for us to investigate the matter first," Oleena told Mo Fan sternly.
The higher-ups of the Sacred Hall of Liberty were infuriated by the incident. The Black Vatican was bold enough to commit crimes in the city. Many Sacred Hall Mages were immediately mobilized to search for the Executioner.
However, for some reason, Mo Fan felt like it was not going to make any difference. The Executioner must be fearless if he dared to make a move in a place like that …
…
As he thought, the Sacred Hall Mages failed to find the Executioner even after three days.
Mo Fan could not possibly stay in the Sacred Hall of Liberty for the rest of his life. He picked up his phone and dialed the number on the name card when he remembered there was a girl who was seriously injured because of him.
"Hello, is that you, Mage?" the girl's sweet voice soon came from the other end.
"How did you know it was me?" Mo Fan was surprised.
"I came here alone. I bet you're the only one who would call me," the girl said. Her voice was light. She did not sound like she was seriously ill. It was likely that she was recovering well. She was quite optimistic too.
"I'm sorry, I dragged you into this," Mo Fan said apologetically.
How is it your fault? You're the one who saved me. How was it? Did you catch the guy? "the girl said.
"No, I think he's good at disguising himself," Mo Fan said.
"Is that so? But I think I've seen him before," the girl said.
"You've seen him before?" Mo Fan asked curiously.
"I'll remember anyone I've seen, no matter how they dress up or what makeup they put on. I even know his surname," the girl said.
"How do you know that?"
"He came here to buy drinks ten minutes before you came. There were a lot of customers, so I asked for his surname so I could register the drinks. He only gave me his surname, the kind that was very straightforward. I don't think he was trying to hide it. Perhaps an evil and powerful Mage like him never thought I would remember him," the girl told Mo Fan.
Mo Fan was overjoyed. He did not expect the girl he was protecting to be such a meticulous person.
"Alright, tell me everything you can remember, I'll ask someone to find out more about him," Mo Fan said.
Mo Fan immediately contacted the almighty Lingling. Lingling was a Hunter, so she was quite familiar with human faces. She copied the man's face after listening to the girl's description.
"Do you think his surname is real?" Mo Fan asked Lingling.
"According to the coffee girl, it's basically his real surname, or it's a surname he's using to disguise himself. That way, we can still find him. Hang on, I'll contact the police in New York. They should have a better database," Lingling said.

In Earl Park, a man in a janitor's uniform was sweeping the fallen leaves on the ground. He was wearing a rain hat. His back was slightly hunched, and he seemed to be in a very weak state.
"HAHA, every Sacred Hall Mage in the city is looking for you, yet you're sweeping the leaves here so leisurely? How bold of you!" A youth who looked to be only fifteen or sixteen years old walked out. He had a pair of bright and piercing purple eyes that gave people a special feeling of charisma. Coupled with his perfect mixed-race face, there was one? He had the handsomeness of an Eastern man, yet his facial features were distinct and intimidating!
"The most dangerous place is also the safest place," the janitor raised his head slightly and pointed his sharp chin at the purple-eyed young man.
"You've done well," the purple-eyed young man grinned.
"It's been a while since I've felt this excited. I remember the last time I interacted with the Sacred Hall Mages was twelve years ago … I feel like they haven't improved at all in the past ten years," the janitor said.
"Don't worry, we've already paid our respects to them on your behalf. However, I'm a Virgo, so I hope everything is done perfectly, "the purple-eyed young man said.
"Are you referring to the fact that we didn't kill him on the street?" the janitor asked.
"Yeah, this kid is someone that Salan cares a lot about. It's best if you can kill him. If you can capture him alive, I believe Salan will give you a great gift," the purple-eyed young man said.
"I like killing people. Don't worry, once the storm is over, he won't live for long," the janitor said.
"I'll leave this place to you, Executioner. We'll be leaving tonight. "
"Please express my gratitude to Salan for what he did twelve years ago," the janitor said.
"I will!"

Inside the Sacred Hall of Liberty, ten Black Gold Sacred Hall Mages were sitting at the meeting table. They were staring at the projector, staring at the face that was being enlarged.
"Nonsense!" The leader of the Black Gold Shrine Wizards stood up abruptly. There was a hint of anger on his face.
"This is the result of my investigation. It's up to you whether you believe me or not," Mo Fan said.
Oleena was sitting in the middle. She was struggling to believe the result, too.
The person that Mo Fan had found was extremely shocking, as the person was a Sacred Hall Mage that had been stripped of his position around ten years ago!
The person was called Philip. He had joined the Sacred Hall of Liberty around twenty years ago as an Ice Mage. However, he was kicked out of the Sacred Hall of Liberty due to a mistake he made, and no one had heard from him since then.
The person's appearance and surname matched the information that Lingling had gathered. Most importantly, the person had mastered the Ice Domain a long time ago. The effect of the Domain was to rain down hailstones within five hundred meters!
If it weren't for that, Mo Fan would not have dared to expose the person so easily. After all, the Black Vatican's Executioner was once a Sacred Hall Mage of the Sacred Hall of Liberty. It was the greatest humiliation to the Sacred Hall of Liberty. Their sacred teachings and their oath to never betray the Sacred Hall of Liberty would become empty words.
"Captain, I was going to tell you about it a few days ago, but I didn't dare to say anything since I didn't see the person's face clearly. The Executioner did look very similar to Philip, and he seemed to recognize me. He chose to leave before we even fought, "the Purple Wind Sacred Hall Mage said in a deep voice.
There were four old Sacred Hall Mages in the room. They had been here for more than twelve years. Their faces darkened when Philip was mentioned, as if they never wanted to talk about him again for the rest of their lives.
"Humph, if it's really him, we can't just let him go. He dares to defect to the Black Vatican. He's a disgrace to our Sacred Hall of Liberty!" Captain Lude snapped furiously.
"The problem is, it's going to be difficult to find him. Philip was good at carrying out missions in plain clothes in the past. He was able to interfere with people's vision with his Psychic Magic, and he was good at manipulating people's minds. His disguise was unmatched," the Purple Wind Sacred Hall Mage said.
"It's just some common sense. You guys shouldn't just sit here and wait for it to rust. Let's move out together. As long as he's still in New York City, he won't be able to escape. We have to send him to the torch and burn his filthy body and soul with the sacred flame of the Statue of Liberty!" Captain Lude said.

At New York Airport, a young girl with two long ponytails was dragging a bag of luggage on her own. She was slowly walking up the stairs.
The escalator had broken down. Her luggage was a little heavy, and she was struggling to move it.
Not far away, a young man who was heading toward the entrance glanced in her direction and said to the man in a red shirt beside him. He then walked toward the young girl with a polite smile.
"Do you need any help?" the young man asked politely.
Lingling raised her head and glanced at the mixed-blood young man. She was a little confused by his purple eyes.
Before Lingling could reply, the young man lifted Lingling's heavy luggage with one hand …
"It's pretty heavy. What are you carrying in there?" the purple-eyed young man asked casually with a gentle smile.
"Just some electronic equipment. Put it down if you can't handle it. I'll call the adults," Lingling said.
"I'm the adults." The purple-eyed young man used both hands to slowly move Lingling's luggage up. Most people at his age had yet to Awaken. Even if he had the physique of a Magician, his strength was not that great. The young man finally managed to move the luggage up the stairs.
The wheels could be used once they reached the top. Lingling pulled out the handle and pushed the luggage along the smooth floor.
"Hey, aren't you going to say thank you?" the purple-eyed young man yelled at Lingling.
"Thank you," Lingling turned around and said.
"Do you have a phone?"
"Yes."
"How much?"
"I wasn't planning on telling you." Lingling did not turn around. She continued walking to the taxi stand.
The purple-eyed young man looked at her back and rubbed his nose awkwardly.
The man in the red shirt walked over and grinned. "You're upset, aren't you?"
"A little."
"I'll tie it up for you."
"Do I look like someone who would do something like this to a little girl?" the purple-eyed young man asked.
The man in the red shirt thought for a moment and nodded firmly. "Yes!"
The young man rolled his eyes, turned his head and walked forward.
"Is it okay to leave the executioner alone in New York?"
"He can handle it."
"It's going to be 515 soon. I hope I can continue to challenge the 515 Red Envelope Ranking. On the 15th of May, the Red Envelope Rain will give back to the readers and promote my work. Being together is also love. I'll definitely do my best! "
