Chapter 2293

Report

They heard the sound of a long horn echoing in their ears. A faint gray current took the shape of an ivory horn to the east of Banlo City.

The huge horn formed by the airflow almost penetrated the black clouds. It was the source of the sound, and everyone in Banlo City could hear it clearly.

Spells of different colors whizzed past, forming a rainstorm in the rain and pouring down on the other side of the trenches.

It was the third squad of the vanguard.

Mo Fan, Zhao Manting, and Mu Bai were forced to do something beyond their abilities. There were around eighty people behind them, forcing them to the front of the group.

Everyone knew the first wave of fire from the trenches was the fiercest. The people at the front were most likely going to die.

However, they had no choice. A few soldiers were keeping an eye on them at the back of the squad. They would treat them as deserters if they showed any sign of retreating.

"Charge, take down the trenches. You are the heroes of Banlo City!" Black Chimpanzee was still cheering them on.

The squad of a hundred soldiers was charging at a trench on one of the side streets.

The trenches on the main street were around three hundred meters away. There were at least a thousand soldiers charging at the trenches.

The trenches were around two kilometers long. The Federation's main target was the trenches on Hope Street, so they could take out the other half of Banlo City.

Mofan did not overuse his spells.

The battle was going to last for a long time. They were only here to wait for the Federation's counterattack. They were not really going to be the Federation's dogs.

Besides, the trenches on the side streets …

Mofan could easily take down the trenches on his own, let alone the vanguard of a thousand soldiers.

"Watch out, it's a water gun!"

Black Chimpanzee yelled.

On top of the trenches, rows of Brown Rebels exposed half of their bodies and connected their Star Orbits against the Federation Army's fireballs.

The blue Star Path caused ripples to appear on their arms. The ripples eventually gathered on the palms of the Brown Militia.

"Pfft! Pfft! Pfft!"

Like a pressurized water gun, when hundreds of Water Mages cast this spell together, all the pressurized water guns turned into a dam that poured down in torrents!

The bodies of Basic and Intermediate Magicians were only slightly stronger and healthier than ordinary people. They would not be able to withstand the pressure of the water gun.

Some of the mages who were hit by the concentrated spray were sent flying, crashing into the concrete and concrete slabs. If they were unlucky, they might even be impaled by the steel bars and slabs.

These one hundred soldiers were indeed cannon fodder. They didn't even have time to cast a single Primary Spell before they were blown away by the pressure water gun spells. Their formation was in disarray.

Mofan slapped his forehead.

What the hell was going on? Even if they knew that these Federation soldiers were weak, they shouldn't have all fallen in less than half a minute, right?

This left the three of them standing there all alone, which made them feel rather out of place!

"Get up, get up and charge!" Captain Chimpanzee yelled.

The pressure water guns were not to be underestimated. As a matter of fact, even the water guns used to wash cars were enough to injure a person, let alone the ones that were five or six times stronger. They could easily break a person's bones!

"Why don't we head to the frontline?" Zhao Manting suggested.

"Asshole, that's our target!" Captain Chimpanzee yelled.

"There are only a few of us left. Do you think we can still charge forward?" Zhao Manyan asked in return.

Chimpanzee glanced at his wounded soldiers and then at the trained militiamen on the trenches.

"Head to the main battlefield. Damn it, those who can still move, come with me at once. A bunch of useless idiots, you can't even handle the militia of the Brown Rebels!" Captain Chimpanzee kept cursing.

They ran toward Hope Avenue, where thousands of people were fighting.

The Federation Army had around eleven assault squads. They were crawling toward the other side of the trenches like men of sacrifice. Further away on the avenue was a phalanx of Fire Mages.

The Fire Mages were like archers and cannoneers in a war. They would normally stand in the line of defense. Their main job was to suppress the enemy with their firepower.

The Mages on both sides were mostly Wind and Light Mages. Their main job was to disrupt the enemy's movements.

A war was basically a large-scale battle between groups. There were vanguards, firepower, flanks, and the core of the army.

The Brown Rebels were in a defensive position. Their formation was very simple.

With the advantageous terrain of the city's trenches, they only needed to stand on high ground and pour magic spells down below. It was as simple as pushing stones down from a hillside.

Even though the trenches were filled with militia of the Brown Rebels, they were still a great hindrance to the Federation Army.

The Confederation didn't have a militia, but the Brown Rebels kept using the storm to recruit greedy people into their militia.

If they did not stop the rain, the number of militia would only keep increasing. The kind uncles like Big Nose's militia would end up as weapons in the war.

"Those assh * * * *, they keep casting Water Spells up there. Our Fire Mages are greatly weakened by the rain. The assault squad can't even climb up the trenches!" the commander of the assault squad snarled.

When the gorilla officer approached, the golden-furred lieutenant kicked the gorilla officer in the stomach.

The gorilla officer's arrogant and despotic demeanor immediately disappeared. Instead, it was replaced by a pitiful and submissive expression like that of a pug.

"I was hoping you would interfere from the other side, but you are crawling back like dogs. Didn't you see the sacrifices we made? Get up there, you better get up there!" the commander with golden fur snarled. He was even more hot-tempered than the man with the chimpanzee.

The man with the chimpanzee did not dare disobey. He quickly led his men and joined the battle.

A squad happened to have gained a foothold in the trenches. They took the opportunity to climb up the trenches.

"Come, you guys, come with me. I'll lead you to victory!"

The man with the chimpanzee seemed to have found a gap in the chaos. Many of the Water Mages were backing away when they were startled by the rocks.

The Rock Tanks were further behind. They were not aiming at the trenches, but they were quite powerful.

"Great chance, there's a gap!"

"Sir, there's a gap right in front of us. I don't think we have to go that far."

"Bullsh * t, there were at least thirty of us just then. How is that possible … ugh …"

The man with the chimpanzee lifted his head. He saw the Water Mages had all been taken out without him noticing.

There was no threat in front of them!

It was a blessing from the Heavens!
