Report

Thank you to Million Floating Red of Ashes Falling Sadly, for becoming the Silver Alliance Master of True Martial World!

Mighty Ash Hero!

Four chapters completed today!

Including yesterday's three chapters, a total of two days of seven chapters.

Let's talk about book reviews! Let's talk about 'water'!

Cocoon has read a lot of True Martial World's book reviews. Cocoon has even browsed a few of the non-official reading apps outside of Qidian.

Cocoon wants to say a few words from the bottom of his heart.

Cocoon knows that writing a book requires a transcendent and unaffected heart. I think I've already cultivated this well, but there are people who tirelessly comment on my book. I really can't calm down after reading so many of them.

So, I have to say these words.

When Cocoon writes a book, I don't care about the plot of a chapter, I care about whether what I write is good or not.

When I write Martial Supremacy, some people say that in the later stages of Martial Supremacy, they deliberately reduce the number of words until the game is released.

But Martial Supremacy is still not released (Open Beta is on the 12th of January, there are still ten days left), and Martial Supremacy of the World has already been completed for half a year.

I've finished what I need to write. Even if the developers really want me to open a higher level map and continue to drag out Martial Supremacy, I don't write anymore. Why? It's not because of the noble sentiments of a scholar, but because I feel that if I open a new map and write, it will be better!

I'm an honest person. I will write what I think is good, and I won't write what I don't think is good. It's as simple as that.

In this world, no one wants' True Martial World 'to be recognized more than me. I will never purposely ruin my own novel.

Will I reduce the number of words for money?

I'll explain it to everyone. There are some authors who have some success. Their main income comes from writing. It comes from the sale of copyright.

Cocoon is also one of these people.

Copyright is a one-time sale. Once the contract is signed, a copyright fee is collected. After that, regardless of the length of the book, the copyright fee is the same.

The copyright of 'True Martial World' was sold half a year before I opened the book.

In other words, regardless of the length of 'True Martial World', the income it brings to me is already more than half, because the price is already set and written in the contract.

I hurriedly finished 'True Martial World' and opened another book. Wasn't there a copyright for the next novel? In fact, the contract for the next book of "True Martial World" and the one after that had already been signed.

Some people might say, isn't there a limit to the number of words in the contract?

There's a rule in 《True Martial World》 that you must have at least two million characters. It's just two million characters. Do I need to rely on "water" to write two million characters?

Wasn't that insulting cows?

The cocoon didn't want to end Zhen Wu earlier and open the next book.

I still have to be down-to-earth and take responsibility for myself. To be responsible for everyone, I won't make True Martial longer just for the sake of reducing the number of words. He was the one who couldn't live with money.

I named my new book "True Martial World" because I wanted to depict a complete and detailed world. This is my writing style for True Martial. I feel that the current fantasy novels are a little too conventional and impetuous. I'm still writing traditional fantasy novels. I don't have high expectations. I just want everyone to read it and say that this book can still be read and entertained. That's enough.

I know I'm slow. That's all I'm capable of. I'm not deliberately keeping everyone in suspense. When there are chapters that I can't cut, I often update them in advance or combine two chapters into one.

Everyone doesn't have enough fun and wants to read more. I really can't satisfy everyone. This is my speed. If I write too fast, it will collapse.

I hope that everyone can be more tolerant and understanding.

Please don't leave comments in the book review section that threaten me not to subscribe and go to DB.

I know that DB is rampant. I even know that there are a few readers who subconsciously think that reading on Qidian is for the author and reading DB is normal. Perhaps, they can pick out a fault that doesn't suit them and go to DB to find a reason to feel at ease.

Sometimes, the cocoon feels that the author is quite tragic. With DB around, it makes a few readers feel that they have grasped the author's weakness. Even if it's an original book, there's still the existence of increased coins, and the increased coins are not counted as royalties.

When Silkworm Cocoon was published on the shelves, I said that I'm not in the cultural industry. I'm in the service industry.

I serve my readers and hope that they will be satisfied.

I hope that my service can be perfect and that the readers are God.

But I'm not in the business of begging.

I respect the readers, but it doesn't mean that I will wag my tail and beg for everyone to reward me with subscriptions.

I put in my labor in exchange for income. It's a fair trade. It's the same as working for money.

To me, every reader who subscribes is not a matter of a few yuan a month. It's a precious affirmation and support. It's my motivation to write!

I repeat what I said at the beginning. My first goal of writing a book is to make it look good. This is my principle and pursuit as a web author.

Even DB's readers are also the target of Silkworm Cocoon's service.

I even asked some 13 or 14-year-old children who never subscribe if they think there's anything wrong with Zhenwu.

I've always strived to improve my work. Please don't criticize me after reading DB. If Silkworm Cocoon is like opening a restaurant, I'm treating everyone to a free meal with a smile. After eating, I'll ask everyone if the meal is to your liking.

And Silkworm Cocoon's request is that readers who are not reading on Qidian's official website, please don't beat me up after eating. Otherwise, it will affect my enthusiasm for cooking.

This request … isn't too high, right?

I've spent a lot of time writing this single chapter. As a crippled writer, I'm really heartbroken. If only it could be turned into the main text of the novel.

But … I still have to say it. Because some of the book reviews made me feel conflicted. I won't feel good if I don't spit them out.

In short, this is Zhenwu's style. I'm not deliberately keeping everyone in suspense. I'm just trying to make the chapters look good. Some readers followed and said that it's not good. Maybe it's because they don't feel satisfied reading it. In fact, if you read it all together, you won't feel that way.

Finally! The most important thing is!

Asking for monthly votes after the fourth chapter!!!

Silkworm Cocoon asking for monthly votes is asking for motivation. The third time, Silkworm Cocoon writes to make the book look good. This is my biggest pursuit!

Some people ask, don't you pursue royalties?

Royalties are a means to make a living. Of course, I can't be less. However, royalties are not my "pursuit"!

For example, monthly votes. For Silkworm Cocoon, monthly votes are almost equivalent to having no money. Silkworm Cocoon asks for monthly votes is for recognition.

This single chapter is free.

Once again, I'm grateful to Smoke Ash's Million Alliance.

Thank you to every reader who voted, tipped, and subscribed. Thank you everyone!

Leave the monthly votes for me!
