When I was writing the title, I had mixed feelings. Now, I could finally tell you what I thought of Arcana: a science fiction novel under the category of fantasy. Well, at least according to the starting point, it was indeed a science fiction novel.

Back then, I didn't know why I came up with the idea of writing such a weird book, but my love for science and science since I was a kid, my resentment towards the Library of the Future, and some of the things I imagined and deduced eventually merged into the Arcana Divine Throne that you see now.

This was a weird book, or at least that was how I defined it. At first, it had a complete setting, and then it had a story and characters.

On the surface, the conflict between the Congress and the Church, Lucien's growth, the development of arcana and music, and the changes in society were the alternate main plots. However, the hidden main plot remained the same, which was the gradual exploration of the overall world setting, which was a rare structure in a novel.

Therefore, in my mind, the real climax of arcana, which could be compared to the Aurous Core and the Primordial Spirit in Fate Destroyer, was only one complete one and three halves. One of the halves was when Lucien played Fate for the first time, which was the outburst of the sufferings of the previous life. It was the main theme of the book, and it was the melody that ran through the whole book.

The second part was the part where Lucien helped Levski and told him that his eyes could deceive him. It was a reflection of the regret that many scientists felt when they were not recognized before they died. It was also the key of mathematics throughout the whole arcana content.

The third half was in Burning Throne, when Renstadt and Lucien came up with the general theory of relativity, and Douglas looked at the stars. It was the victory of arcana, the turning point of the president's soul, and the detonation of most of the contradictions and conflicts in the early stage.

However, there was only one complete climax, which was the scene where Lucien defeated Viken with his "mouth cannon". That was the blossoming of the real main plot of the book. Starting from the path, the discovery of the Library of the Soul, the first reading of the journal Arcana, and the knowledge of the weirdness of the planet. The whole book, almost three million words, was introduced layer by layer just for that moment of brilliance and brilliance.

To be honest, in order to write this book with such a strange structure, I had to go through a lot more difficulties than when I was writing Jinx.

There were always people who cursed me because introducing science into Western Fantasy seemed to have tarnished their "faith". In fact, there were many people who didn't like Arcana Fantasy for this reason, but they were all very rational and normal. After all, everyone had different tastes, and they couldn't force each other. They could just ignore each other. However, there were always mad dogs and self-centered people who would use this reason to criticize me again and again.

There were always people who questioned the unscientific nature of the book and didn't know how to explain it. I had clearly put the differences there, indicating that it was a trap later, but why did people always turn a blind eye to it and curse me with "huge loopholes", "completely collapsed", and "garbage novel" again and again?

That was the external difficulty. For me, it was just a moment of anger. There was no need to say a lot of words. I only needed to tell my setting and story bit by bit unhurriedly so that arcana could shine as brightly as it should. Then, everything would be proven. Actions were more important than words!

The real difficulty actually came from my own writing. An essay that only had concepts but no details would pale in comparison. In order to make up for the lack of knowledge that I had accumulated over many years of work, I had spent more time reading reference books and other materials, as well as thinking about ideas, than I had actually spent on actual writing.

What if my head was dizzy? I would take a break and continue reading! The more people scolded me, the better I had to write. And with everyone's support, I didn't dare to do anything half-heartedly, as I was afraid that I would fail to live up to everyone's expectations.

After I finished writing the main text, I truly felt exhausted. My head felt empty, and my limbs felt weak. I didn't have the energy to do anything. However, apart from exhaustion, I was also satisfied. I had finally presented the thing that I had been thinking about for a long time in front of everyone in a rather perfect way! I had finally finished my story of almost three million words in the final scene. The entire arcana book now had a spine!

Although this couldn't be said to be "scientific" or "sci-fi", at the very least, it was self-consistent with the arcana theme of the entire book. The beginning was connected to the end, and some details could be deduced.

Actually, when I finished writing the arcana book, many of my friends were quite surprised, no matter if they were readers or friends of the author. That was because it had only been a year, and it seemed that the book was about to end?

Many of my friends told me that it would take at least one and a half to two years for the book's value to be maximized. Only then would the readers get used to following the book and become hardcore fans and lay a good foundation for the next book.

Many of my readers also told me that they hadn't read enough and wanted to read more.

Also, the game company of Arcana also hoped that the book could be serialized at a rate of one hundred thousand words per month, one chapter per day, until September or October, to maintain its popularity. Otherwise, the game might not be popular enough by then.

Also, Qi Haijun and the others at Qidian were helping me with the radio series, booklets, accessories, music, and so on. They had been working on it for a while now, and it would be best if they could finish it in May or June. In order to make the most of it, it would be best to finish it in September or October.

To be honest, I was quite hesitant at that time. On one hand, it was because of Qi Haijun and the others' love, and on the other hand, it was because of the huge sum of money in the game. Who wouldn't love money? However, at that time, I had already finished writing the World of Souls. From the perspective of the main plot of the book, I had to end it for the sake of completeness. It was impossible for me to create new maps and new levels, which would be completely inconsistent with the tone and atmosphere of the book.

At that time, I wasn't very satisfied with the development of the world, either. I tried to start from that perspective, but in the end, I found that the arcana system, adventure, and the development of the world itself were contradictory. So, I had no choice but to do what I should do. I had to give Arcana an ending that matched it, a 'final battle' that I had thought of before I wrote the first word.

I was not ambitious enough to write a classic novel that could be passed down, nor was I arrogant and willful. However, I was stubborn. I was stubborn. I was stubborn. I was stubborn. I was stubborn. I was stubborn. I wanted to give you a perfect climax that I had in mind.

That was my attitude toward Arcana, and also my attitude toward writing!

I know very well that I do not have the genius of many authors, nor do I have the speed and ability to write at the top of the charts. In fact, before I started writing the Luck Destroyer, other than an 800-word essay, it was hard to say that I did not even have a total of 5,000 words. When I was in school, I was also good at mathematics and physics, not language writing. Therefore, I did not have any capital to squander. I could only treat every book with the most sincere attitude. I wrote with my heart, learned, absorbed, and corrected. Only in this way can I go far and walk steadily!

Therefore, I was reading very slowly now. When I saw good words and sentences, I would copy them and read them again and again. Therefore, every time I wrote a chapter, I had to revise it before and after, which was equal to or even longer than the time it took to write it. That was why I could go from being a rough writer at the beginning of Doom to being somewhat presentable in the later part of Doom to basically reaching the standard of arcana. That was why I was able to recognize my own shortcomings and make up for them with my heart.

My attitude was the only thing that I could rely on to live a peaceful life. Therefore, I could only choose to end it in the best way without thinking about anything else. Even though I would lose a lot of opportunities, even though the book was not long enough, and the fans were not united enough, I did not regret it at all. I only felt that I was sorry for the love and effort that Grandpa Taoist, Starfish, Lord Qingshan, and Lord Qi Haijun had given me.

I believe that even if the next book doesn't do well for various reasons, as long as I continue to have this attitude and this belief, then the next book, and the book after that, I will eventually return to my current position on the monthly votes list, or even stand higher!

Fortunately, things took a turn for the better later.

I was grateful to Grandpa Taoist and the game company for their understanding, and I was grateful to Lord Qingshan and Lord Kangaroo for their hard work. Therefore, after the main text was finished, I had to write a few mid-length novels, at least one chapter a day, until September.

Originally, I was exhausted after writing the Arcana chapter, and I wanted to take a break for three months before writing the new book. But now, since everyone had understood, I couldn't be so shameless. Also, there were quite a lot of novels that I could write. Therefore, for those who are willing to read the novels, starting from April 10th, I would write a new chapter every morning at 8: 50 am so that you can pass the time before you go to work. Before that, I had to ask for leave to go home and visit the grave, rest, and take care of some personal affairs.

Initially, I had already thought of two novels and stories, both about a hundred thousand words. The first one would be about twenty or thirty years later, in the "arcana industrialization" society that was shrouded in Lucien's shadow — no, halo — would appear. Many supporting characters from the main text would appear, which would be a side ending for them.

The second novel would be about the "secret history" of the establishment of the Congress of Magic, recorded from the perspective of other sorcerers, at the end of the War of Dawn.

There might also be two more novels, but for now, there were only ideas and no specific stories. I would make a preview after I finished the first two novels.

After that, it was the usual summary. Without a doubt, I had to praise myself first.

First, compared to Fate Destroyer, arcana had improved in the characterization of characters. At least, Natasha, Rhein, Alterna, Felipe, Fernando, and Douglas had their own personalities and different temperaments. Second, my writing had improved. Third, I had a better grasp of the beginning, the end, and the end, and my ability to tell stories had improved. Fourth, the entire arcana system did not collapse, and headshots were quite innovative. Fifth, many plots were excellent. The one I was most satisfied with was the part where Xiao Lu sent the letter to the Dark Mountain Range and described the King of Nightmares with dreams. Fifth, I outlined the changes in society from the perspective of the insignificant people, showing the overall arcana society, which complemented the main line of the thesis.

There were many other things that I should praise myself for, but they were not important. The most important thing was to summarize the problems and correct them.

The most important shortcoming was the creation of the characters. Due to the unique setting of the main storyline and the system of improving strength in the thesis, Lucien progressed very fast. His progress was so fast that the supporting roles could not keep up. Many of the characters who were created in the beginning gradually could not keep up. They had no scenes, or their faces were slowly becoming more and more unrecognizable. Even Natasha, the heroine, could not find a chance to 'shine' for a while. She only 'reluctantly' returned in the end.

I had known this problem for a long time, but I could not purposely suppress the arcana lines. Of course, it was also because I was not good enough at creating characters. I needed to summarize, refine, and learn.

My second weakness was the setting itself. Here, the arcana story line was an academic debate. It was relaxed yet intense. No matter if it was the atmosphere, character creation, or environment, they were all incompatible with the adventure story line. This made it difficult for me to bring out the atmosphere when I was writing an adventure story line. It would seem chaotic, as if the entire plot was unnecessary. It didn't matter. In such a situation, it was only natural that I would find it difficult to write fights.

The third shortcoming was still the same problem. It made it impossible to expand the world. I could only rewrite Aalto, Allyn, and Renstadt. After all, when arcana was the main focus, if Lane wandered out for a long time, he would definitely be despised.

The fourth shortcoming was that the magic fights were not as smooth as the Xianxia fights.

The fifth shortcoming was that the setting of a small part of the plot was wrong and did not achieve the atmosphere I wanted. In comparison, the Argent Horn at the beginning was more or less perfect.

There were still a lot of other problems. I would slowly summarize them myself. In the next four months, I would start to prepare my new book. The theme of the new book could be Xianxia or Xuanhuan. A small part of the new book would be more classical. How should I put it? You would know when you read it. After all, it was another product of my imagination. I hope that the setting could avoid some of the problems in the characters and the plot of arcana.

I already had a plan for many of the plots, which made me very excited and lost in reverie. Also, there were a lot of knowledge and materials that I needed to cram in. By then, in September and October, we would set off again!

Finally, on April 10th, friends who like to read the novels, please continue to support. After that, the physical novels and the related novels would be released one after another.

In the end, I would like to thank those who criticized me, cursed me, and looked down on me. I would like to thank the many hardships and tribulations on the way, which allowed me to polish my own brilliance step by step. Through all the hardships, a jade is formed!

In the end, in the end, in the end, thank you. Without you, I would be nothing.

Cuttlefish.
