Then, it bounced off the ground, no longer alive.
Yet when the third Mountain Banshee swooped down, Archeaphill had already arrived in front of Sheyan. This MT of the Symbiosis sect was only late due to the distance. The B rank ability 'Throat Shuddering' unleashed by the Mountain Banshee only caused his chest hair to become a mess, but didn't obstruct him in the slightest.

"Another Venter." Sheyan had already tagged this brute.
Blood spurted out, as a large chunk of flesh was ripped off from Sable's left shoulder by the Mountain Banshee's desperate counterattack. However, he immediately released a furious roar, as his gigantic black saber chopped downwards. This saber chopped off half of this ferocious beast's wing, as blue blood spurted out from the wound. The remaining half of the wing was sent flying upwards a dozen metres into the air, before it fluttered back down. It was a magnificent sight to behold.
Besides, for a Mountain Banshee to soar in the air, the carbon fibre skeleton used to support its membrane wing was mostly hollow. Hence, its stability was unavoidably lacking. The Mountain Banshee's destructive power had plummeted to the ground. Although it released mournful wails incessantly, within a short span of minutes, it was swarmed by the contestants, as they concentrated their firepower and pummeled it into meat paste.
The other two Mountain Banshees once again swooped down to attack in grief and indignation. However, this time, Archeaphill had already made ample preparations. The Illume-union members were also extremely well-coordinated, as they didn't give them the slightest opportunity. Instead, they seized the opportunity to slay another Mountain Banshee.
However, these aerial beasts had successfully caused a considerable degree of chaos to the Illume-union members. More importantly, the Illume-union's originally well-organized defensive formation had been torn apart into a mess. This gave the viperwolves an opportunity to take advantage of.
Their intellect was exceedingly high.
