River Styx came out of the Blood Sea and went straight to the top of Mount Buzhou. Not long after, he passed through the chaos and landed in front of the Purple Cloud Palace. Looking at the people who went in one after another, River Styx realized that the people who came to listen to the sermon this time were the same as last time. There were no new faces.
Not long after, all the people who came to listen to the sermon had arrived. There were exactly three thousand people, not one less, not one more. "Sit down and listen to my sermon." Hongjun saw that everyone had arrived and began his sermon, "The Dao that can be explained is not the Dao. The name that can be named is not the name. The nameless is the beginning of heaven and earth; the named is the mother of all things. Therefore, the nameless is to observe its wonders; the nameless is to observe its mysteries; the nameless is to observe its mysteries. These two come from the same origin but have different names. They are both called mysteries. Mysteries within mysteries, the door to all mysteries. "
"When a superior scholar hears of the Dao, he diligently pursues it; when a middle-aged scholar hears of the Dao, he waits between life and death; when a subordinate hears of the Dao, he laughs heartily. The next time I preach about the Origin Dao Fruit will be ten thousand years later. If you have any questions now, I can answer them."
Lao Tzu and the other two looked at each other. Lao Tzu stood up and asked, "Teacher, is there a way to attain the Dao?" As soon as Lao Tzu finished asking, the people below suddenly held their breaths and stared at Hongjun. Cultivators sought immortality, but even Quasi-saint and Daluo Jinxian might not necessarily be immortal. Only saints could transcend.
Hongjun pondered for a moment and said, "There are three thousand Great Daos, and all of them can attain the Origin. As for my Hongjun Great Dao, there are three ways to attain the Dao. The first choice is to attain the Dao through strength, which is to use one's own profound mana and cultivation to forcefully break the shackles of Tendo and attain the Dao through strength. The second choice is to attain the Dao by severing the three corpses of good, evil, and self. The third choice is to attain the Dao through merit, which is to attain the Tendo's recognition with virtue."
Everyone listened attentively. It was no wonder that these people were like this. There were three thousand Great Daos, and all of them could attain the Origin. However, this was to attain the Dao by comprehending the laws. The Dao of Law was incomparably mysterious, especially after entering the Quasi-saint realm. Hongjun explained, "The three corpses refer to poison. The human body has three corpses called the three poisons. The upper corpse is called Peng Ju, and he is in charge of good and evil. The middle corpse is called Peng Zan, and he is in charge of good and evil. The lower corpse is called Peng Jiao, and he is in charge of good and evil.
"The upper corpse resides at the Yuzhen Pass, the middle corpse resides at the Jiaji Pass, and the lower corpse resides at the Tailu Pass. Every year, good and evil are discussed. There are also nine venomous insects that cause great harm. They block the three passes and nine orifices, preventing the True Yang from rising. "The nine venomous insects all have names. The first is the Fu Gu, which resides at the Yuzhen Pass; the second is the Dragon Gu, which resides at the Tianzhu Pass; the third is the White Gu, which resides at the Tao Pass; the fourth is the Flesh Gu, which resides at the Shinto Pass; and the fifth is the Red Gu, which resides at the Jiaji Pass.
"The sixth is the Isolation Gu, which resides at the Xuanshu Pass; the seventh is the Lung Gu, which resides at the Mingmen Pass; the eighth is the Stomach Gu, which resides at the Dragon-Tiger Pass; and the ninth is the Dung Gu, which resides at the Tailu Pass. "The three corpses reside at the three passes, and the nine venomous insects reside at the nine orifices. There are many changes."
