Chapter 631

Yesterday marked the end of the first half of The Path Toward Heaven.
Lian Sanyue was dead.
This is my favorite part of the novel so far, except for the part about seizing the Cauldron in the Illusionary Realm.
In the chapter written a long time ago, the Young Master Li played a piece of music in the Three-Thousand Nunnery, and I chose it as the Introduction to the Good Night.
The magic method created by Lian Sanyue later was called the Good Night.
The chapter written the day before was called: Every night in the human world is a good night.
It sounded like a happy and beautiful night, but it wasn't.
A good night is a good night.
Night is death.
Every night in the human world is death and separation.
Many parts of the novel The Path Toward Heaven and the plot of Lian Sanyue were intended to write that sentence from the very beginning.
"Don't walk into that good night gently."
I saw this sentence when I was watching the interstellar travel, and I kept repeating it in my mind over the last few years, like a mantra.
My dear friends, don't walk into that good night gently.
This is a hopeless accusation against the God of Death.
And it is the greatest hope for the living.
