Book 1: 372
Whoosh!
Just as Zhao Fu flew a bit closer, a massive gust of wind blew towards him. This gust of wind was solar wind, and it was shockingly hot, enough to burn rocks into dust.
Zhao Fu immediately unleashed an energy barrier, but it was unable to withstand the berserk wind. He was blown back to where he was, and his body was slightly injured. Apart from being extremely hot, the solar wind also had a terrifying wind that could cut into Zhao Fu's body.
Looking at the sun in front of him, Zhao Fu thought to himself and the crystal on his forehead gave off an intense golden light, once again forming a golden defensive barrier. Zhao Fu continued to fly forwards.
Whoosh!
The solar wind pushed Zhao Fu's body backwards, but luckily he was not blown away like before. Zhao Fu controlled the crystal on his forehead and released even more power to resist that push as he flew forwards with great difficulty.
Just like that, Zhao Fu slowly advanced, and after seven or eight hours, he finally landed on the first sun.
When he landed, he was quite surprised. From the outside, the sun gave off a blinding light, but after landing on the sun, the light was not as intense, and it was only slightly brighter than the moon.
The ground was a charred black color, and Zhao Fu squatted down and grabbed a handful of it. He found that the soil was warm and smelled like sunlight, just like the smell of a blanket under the sun.
There were some plants around him, but they were purplish-red in color and there were not many of them. There was a small stream that flowed with magma, but it did not seem to be very hot. There did not seem to be any animals around or on the moon, and it was quite peaceful.
It had been a long time since anyone had come here, and Zhao Fu did not have anyone to guide him. Zhao Fu carefully walked forwards because he did not know what would happen.
Ten or so minutes later, Zhao Fu arrived in front of a gigantic tree. This tree was not very tall, only a dozen or so meters tall. The crown of the tree was very big, and there were many branches and leaves. The leaves were purplish-red, and the tree trunk was black. There was a human face on the tree trunk, and it was a very beautiful woman.
As Zhao Fu approached, the face on the tree looked at Zhao Fu with a smile and said, "It's been a long time since someone has appeared here."
Zhao Fu looked at the tree and asked, "What are you?"
The face smiled and said, "I'm an ordinary little tree on the sun. After countless years of growth, I gained intelligence."
Hearing this, Zhao Fu was a bit disappointed. He had thought that she was related to gods, but it turned out that she was just an ordinary tree. Zhao Fu asked, "Do you know where the temple is?"
The tree replied with a smile, "I know. You want to go to the Shrine to obtain the Source Sun Power, right?"
Zhao Fu nodded.
The tree said happily, "I also want to go there to obtain some Source Sun Power because there are restrictions there. Can you take me in?"
Zhao Fu thought about it and said, "Sure!"
The tree smiled as she said, "Thank you!"
The tree started to change. The branches and trunk started to shrink, and it turned into a tall and slim woman with a head of purplish-red hair and a few leaves on her head. She had an incredibly beautiful face and wore a black robe.
Zhao Fu's gaze became serious as he sensed the divine power that she gave off in her human form. He found that she had become a godly spirit, and in the Outer World, she was a postnatal godly spirit.
The tree smiled as she said, "Let's go!"
Zhao Fu asked, "What's your name?"
The tree replied, "You can call me Tree Sap."
Zhao Fu nodded.
Tree Sap led the way while Zhao Fu followed behind.
Tree Sap asked as they walked, "I'm curious about who you are and why you have eight types of Sun Power within your body."
Zhao Fu smiled as he replied, "I don't know who I am."
The people who made the prophecy were the eight Sun God Emissaries, and they had nothing to do with the eight Innate Sun Gods. Zhao Fu had absorbed godly power from the Innate Sun God Palace, so he was not the legatee of the Innate Sun Gods.
Tree Sap replied, "Oh! However, since you can come to the sun, you should be able to enter the Innate Sun God Palace. "
Hearing this, Zhao Fu did not know if he could enter the Innate Sun God Palace. He had only been able to enter the Moon Palace because of the Moon Immortal, or else he would not have been able to enter the Innate Sun God Palace by himself. As such, he said, "I'll give it a try after entering the Innate Sun God Palace."
The two of them came before a Innate Sun God Palace that was made of gold. This Innate Sun God Palace was incredibly big and gave off a holy and majestic aura.
Zhao Fu walked forwards and was repelled by a formless energy. Indeed, Zhao Fu could not enter this place.
Tree Sap frowned and said, "What do we do now?"
Zhao Fu was thinking of a way; the Sun God Emissaries should be able to enter this Innate Sun God Palace. Fortunately, Zhao Fu had absorbed a portion of the Sun God Emissaries' power.
This sun was the sun that the Vast Sun God Palace worshipped, and it could be called the Vast Sun. Zhao Fu released the Vast Sun God Palace's Sun God Emissaries' power, and a golden ball of light floated out from his forehead. It floated forwards and disappeared into the void, and a three-meter wide golden light hole appeared.
Tree Sap smiled in delight and said, "It's done!"
Zhao Fu smiled and nodded as he walked towards the light hole. Tree Sap followed behind Zhao Fu, and the two of them passed through the light hole and came before the Innate Sun God Palace.
The Innate Sun God Palace's Innate Sun God Palace's doors were also made of gold, and there were two mighty God Generals carved on it. Zhao Fu placed his hand on the doors and pushed them open.
It was a pity that Zhao Fu was not a godly spirit's Legatee, or else he would be the Innate Sun God Palace's Master. However, there was not much use for the Sun God Emissaries here; they were not the Innate Sun God Palace's Masters.
Sun God Emissaries and Moon Immortals were two different things; Moon Immortals were the Innate Moon Immortals' Legatees, while Sun God Emissaries had a portion of god power. However, they were only servants of the Innate Gods and not Legatees.
After entering the Innate Sun God Palace, they walked through a long corridor and came to a very large hall. There was a ten-meter tall throne, and it was most likely the throne of the Innate Gods.
In front of the throne, there were 16 beautiful women with graceful figures, purplish-red hair, and wheat-colored skin. They wore long dresses, and their eyes were closed. They stood in two rows in front of the throne and did not move at all, as if they were statues.
The auras they gave off were very powerful and ancient, and they felt as if they were people from the same era as the Innate Gods.
Tree Sap asked, "What do we do now?"
She did not dare to casually barge into this Innate Sun God Palace. Even though she was a rare Postnatal God, she could still die here if she was not careful. She understood how terrifying this place was.
Zhao Fu walked over.
At that moment, the 16 women opened their eyes, revealing violet pupils. Looking at Zhao Fu, one of the heroic-looking women asked, "Who are you?"
Zhao Fu thought about it and replied, "I'm the Vast Sun God Palace's Sun God Emissary!"
The heroic-looking woman was quite surprised, "Is that so? It's been so many years, and yet a Sun God Emissary has come to the Innate Sun God Palace. "
