Chapter 1858

Report

This Half-Orc lady, who usually looked gentle, fought like a madwoman. Her two weapons danced around her like snowflakes.

That's right, Garona's weapons weren't daggers, but two sword-like weapons. They were much longer than daggers, and Lu Li didn't know how strong she was. The sword-like weapons were no different from feathers when she swung them.

This was a true Thief. She was as fast as the wind and as mysterious as a ghost. Players were still far from a real NPC.

Her opponent was a dwarf, very short, definitely not the height of a normal person.

A Gnome!

And a Gnome Thief at that!

Lu Li wasn't in a hurry to help. The fact that the Gnome was able to fight against Garona without losing meant that she was also an NPC.

Thinking about Garona's current identity, this Gnome was definitely related to Ravenholdt Manor.

The Gnome Thief was also very strong, and his fighting style was even more strange. His weapon wasn't a dagger either, which made Lu Li feel very uncomfortable. Why weren't these two high-level Thieves using daggers?

Shouldn't Thieves be good with daggers?

Lu Li was deeply confused. The most important thing was that Thief NPCs were too mysterious, especially high-level ones like Garona. He hadn't even seen one in his previous life, so he naturally didn't know what kind of weapons high-level Thieves used.

As for the hostess who led him into Ravenholdt Manor, she probably couldn't be associated with the word 'powerful'.

"Let's stop here for today. There'll be time to decide the winner in the future. Your disciple is here." The Gnome Thief instantly created more than ten clones, but Garona instantly destroyed most of them. Unfortunately, she still couldn't find his real body.

Gahrona stopped, the weapon in her hand disappearing like it was broken into pieces.

"Oh, it's my disciple who's so busy that I can't even see him. How did you take time out of your busy schedule to come and take a look?"

Why did it sound like there was a lot of resentment? Lu Li carefully said, "Respected teacher, please forgive my negligence. The main thing is that I've been through the Dark Portal to the Outland, so it's not convenient for me to return to Azeroth."

"Outland …" The two NPCs both fell silent.

"What's the Outlands like now?" Gahrona asked faintly.

"It's broken, but it's still full of vitality. Everything is recovering," Lu Li explained. He understood what the Outer Realm meant to Gahrona.

That was Garona's hometown. No matter how much she had suffered in the Draenor Continent, it was still the place where she was born.

"That is good news," said Gahrona. "Then, my disciple, why have you come this time?"

Lu Li said awkwardly, "I need to upgrade my ring. According to His Excellency Remulos, the Elemental Throne can meet my requirements. However, it's filled with danger, and there's no way to enter."

"Is Gar 'rok still alive?" Garona suddenly asked.

"The Orc Shaman Gar 'rok?" Lu Li realized that Alfred the Lost had not lied to him. There was no problem with the quest clue he had given him.

"That's right, the Orc Shaman Gar 'rok. He's an old friend of the Elementals. He bears the responsibility of communicating with the people of the Elemental Wrath. He guards the Elemental Throne alone for decades. It's been like this since I can remember, and it should be no exception now, as long as he's still alive."

"I actually already know this clue," Lu Li said awkwardly. "But he's an Orc, and I'm an Elf, a Night Elf."

"Pfft, what a ridiculous concept of alignment." The Gnome Thief next to him sneered.

"There's a grave near the Elemental Throne. If you offer a bouquet of flowers, you can get a status that allows you to communicate with Gar 'rok. That grave is his wife's grave," said Garona, directly telling him how to communicate.

"About Gar 'rok, does teacher know about his situation?" Lu Li wanted to know more.

"You know about him and his wife. This information is enough," said Garona. "When Gar 'rok was young, he, like the other tribesmen, gained his own love. Dahaka was an ordinary Orc girl, and she loved the young and promising Gar 'rok from the bottom of her heart. However, the good times didn't last long … "

One day, Dahaka suddenly died. Gar 'rok, who rushed to his lover's side, cried bitterly.

Faced with everything that happened so suddenly, Gar 'rok didn't know what to do. He found that Dahaka's face was pale, and the vitality of her body seemed to have been completely taken away, but he had no clue.

Just like that, this question had been sealed in Gar 'rok's heart for a long time, until one day, he accidentally found the witch Charley who lived nearby. She was still young, which made him think that Dahaka's death should have something to do with her, but he had no evidence.

He turned to a powerful assassin to seek the truth from Charley.

The assassin did not say anything and directly defeated Charley.

In the face of death, Charley finally opened her mouth and admitted that she had absorbed Dahaka's life essence. The reason was that she was jealous of the love between Dahaka and Gar 'rok.

"Uh, this is really a melodramatic story. What happened after that? Did Charley die?" asked Lu Li.

"Yes, she got what she deserved," said Garona gloomily. "Because I showed her my face."

Lu Li shuddered. Only now did he realise that the powerful Assassin was far away, but close at hand. If that was the case, then his teacher and Gar 'rok should have some sort of friendship. Why didn't he give him some sort of keepsake?

"I haven't seen Gar 'rok for a long time. Can you help me bring a bouquet of flowers to his dead wife? That's not too much to ask, right?" asked Garona.

"Of course, it would be my pleasure," Lu Li agreed without hesitation.

"Alright, go ahead. Send my regards to Gar 'rok." Garona paused and then regretted her words. "Forget it. If he asks me, just say that Garona died in a foreign land under the elemental power of the Doomsday Hammer."

Lu Li remembered everything and left with satisfaction.

The two top Thieves conversed for a while before disappearing.

Once again returning to the vicinity of the Throne of Elements, Lu Li felt a lot more confident. He had bought the most beautiful and expensive condolence bouquet in the world in Stormwind City beforehand.

Dahaka's grave was not difficult to find. He just needed to ask around.

Moreover, it was not far from the Throne of Elements. Presumably, Gar 'rok was reluctant to let his dead wife be too far away from him.
