The traces of an explosion!
The traces of an explosion from inside out!
With Transcendence [Tracking], no traces could escape Kieran's eyes, let alone the obvious traces of an explosion.
But what concerned Kieran the most was the traces hidden under the traces of the explosion.
Kieran avoided the Dawn Family members and carefully approached the explosion area.
When he reached a certain distance, Kieran clearly saw a trace that was different from the ripples of the explosion. It was a deep 'point'.
It seemed like the 'point' wasn't a complete trace, it was destroyed because of the explosion but it didn't stop Kieran from using the 'point' to identify the whole trace.
Because the 'point' was too familiar to him.
Every time he dashed forward and exerted his strength with the tip of his feet, there would be a half-foot print that encompassed the 'point'.
However, the half-foot print before Kieran's eyes still left a trace after the explosion, it was enough to prove how powerful and unimaginably concentrated the person who left the mark was at that moment.
A powerful force would undoubtedly allow the person to burst out with a corresponding speed and a concentrated force wouldn't just boost the person's speed, it would also temporarily eliminate the sound.
There was a similar technique in [Dark Movement Technique].
Even though Kieran didn't truly master the technique, it was enough for Kieran to form a picture in his mind.
A figure quietly snuck into the Grand Duke's mansion and hid in the shadows, patiently waiting for the target to appear.
The moment the target appeared, the figure threw himself at the target.
It was fast and ruthless, it even concealed its presence.
However, even so, when the danger arrived, the target still reacted.
The target retaliated with the fiercest attack.
Therefore, the explosion happened.
"Is the target the Grand Duke or the heir?"
Kieran guessed as he felt the positive energy in the explosion residue.
Unlike the Burning Family which had a peasant eldest son and a legitimate second son, the Dawn Family had always been a pure lineage, each generation of the Grand Duke would only have one heir.
It might be a son.
It might be a daughter.
But regardless of whether it was a son or a daughter, once they were born, the Dawn Family would never have a new heir, no matter how hard the Grand Duke tried.
It was like a curse.
This also created a special situation in the Dawn Family: the female leader found a man who was willing to give up his title and marry into her family.
What was worth rejoicing over was that the current and previous heirs of the Dawn Family were all men, so the Dawn Family did not fall into the most awkward situation.
However, the situation before them was even worse than that.
Seeing the attendants, servants, and guards of the Dawn Clan growing more and more anxious, Kieran silently retreated.
"That Grand Duke and heir still haven't appeared to take charge of the situation. Could it be that they've already met with misfortune?"
"If it's that guy, it's highly possible!"
"Moreover, there aren't any corpses here …"
"In other words, that guy needs the bodies of the Grand Duke of Dawn and his heir."
Kieran stood in the shadows and speculated.
As for who that fellow was?
'Extreme '!
Other than Extremus, Kieran couldn't think of anyone else in the current dungeon world who had such brilliant stealth and assassination skills.
Maybe the current dungeon world had hidden existences that Kieran didn't know about, but those people wouldn't strike for no reason.
But Extremus was different!
The player that Kieran dreaded had a reason to strike: the crown!
The information recorded on the paper pointed to one of the First Burning Marquis and the Grand Duke of Dawn.
It could even be said that both of them were in it.
One of them got the crown but couldn't get close to it, so he sought help from the other.
However, the problem wasn't solved yet.
Or, something had gone wrong.
So, the crown was stored somewhere.
And this place …
"It requires the bloodline of the Grand Duke of Dawn to open and enter!"
Kieran squinted his eyes.
He had tried his best but he was still a step too slow.
The frustrated feeling appeared naturally but was quickly discarded out of Kieran's mind. He activated [Tracking] again, hoping to find the traces that Extremus left behind in the surroundings.
However, everything was futile.
Other than the explosion marks, that player, the King of Killers, didn't leave any traces behind.
It was as if he appeared out of thin air and disappeared into thin air.
It might be inconceivable for the natives but it wasn't difficult for the players, especially the powerful ones.
Kieran was ready to leave after getting nothing.
Staying here would be a waste of time. He wanted to seek more help to locate that player, the King of Killers.
Coincidentally, he had such a helper in Dawn City.
However, just as Kieran was about to leave, a figure appeared and stopped Kieran's steps.
That figure ignored the gazes from the surroundings.
It wasn't just because the figure was famous for his undercover techniques, it was also because of his unusual talents.
The figure was like a shadow, jumping from one shadow to another, it was as light as a feather and like an excellent ballet dancer, dancing in the shadows.
However, other than Kieran, no one else could appreciate the dance.
Even Kieran was thinking about the one behind the figure and not the figure's own techniques.
"You are attracted as well?"
Kieran squinted his eyes and held his breath in concentration, controlling his sight and trying his best not to look at the figure directly. Instead, he used his superhuman senses to lock on to the figure.
The figure soon finished its search and just like before, it jumped away from the shadows.
After Kieran left the shadow for a few seconds, he followed up with big strides.
Transcendence level [Tracking] allowed Kieran to capture the little traces that the figure left behind. It allowed Kieran to avoid being discovered by the figure.
The figure went through several streets.
The figure walked and stopped as if it was following some orders.
More than 10 minutes later, the figure stopped in front of a building.
It was a two-story building with a balcony and a garden. It was surrounded by a fence made of solid wood and the gate was an iron fence.
The gate was freshly painted and looked very clean.
The flowers and grasses in the garden were flourishing and well-trimmed.
There were a lot of footprints on the cobblestone ground, some male and some female.
Kieran sized up the building but didn't rush in recklessly. He knew if it was really that guy, this place wouldn't be as simple as it looked.
Kieran went into deep thought for a while before he went back into the shadows.
