Chapter 20

Words:1792Update:22/06/29 07:40:45

Report

The magical civilization of Aishi wasn't a single planet like Earth.

It had one mortal plane, four major Elemental Planes, and countless other planes. There were so many residents and species that it was impossible to count.

For tens of thousands of years, before the War of Dawn, the entire world of Aishi's Crystal Wall had been separated from the outside world.

The legendary War of Dawn was a battle that would determine whether or not the Gate of Dawn would open.

Let's not talk about what happened during the War of Dawn and the effects it had … there were so many books related to the War of Dawn that even the central library wouldn't be able to store them. The result was that the Gate of Dawn's Crystal Wall had been opened.

Aishi entered the age of the universe, and other civilizations also observed this new magical civilization.

The era that followed was renamed as the Dawn Era (FT). The entire world had entered a new era.

Meanwhile, the twin world known as Ansorenne was just like the Aishi before the War of Dawn. Outsiders were unable to enter, and those inside were unable to leave. Even if it existed, it would be meaningless.

Wait for it to open on its own?

The Gate of Dawn's Crystal Wall could only be opened by a Creator God. During the War of Dawn, the Chaos Goddess "Cynthia" was the one who opened the Gate of Dawn. As for Ansorenne … according to my observations, there wasn't even a single God here.

Ansorenne's Crystal Wall was an ownerless land.

And so, the Main Gods of Aishi could only send people out to search for Mother Goddess Aishi … She had been missing for countless years, and the chances of success were almost negligible. Meanwhile, they drooled over Ansorenne's Crystal Wall.

But more than one hundred years ago, some things silently changed.

In certain aspects, the Main Gods of Aishi's Main Gods couldn't compare to the Main Gods of dimensional invaders and raiders.

The Evil Gods of the universe came, fought, and scrammed.

They discovered that the Aishi's Main Gods were incredibly fierce and had an abnormal amount of combat experience. When they fought, the Main Gods also set their sights on the ownerless land next door.

The Evil Gods who specialized in exploiting loopholes were very experienced. They had discovered the loophole in Ansorenne's crystal barrier.

This barrier actually used the same technology as the barrier in the mortal plane of the Aishi Plane. While the main body couldn't enter, the Evil God's will would be able to indirectly plant the Evil God's Seed and project it onto the local creatures, allowing the Evil God's incarnation to descend upon them … Although this was basically the same as throwing a meteor at random, whoever was hit by the meteor would be unlucky. This would be inefficient and would consume a great deal of energy.

And that was a completely empty world. In theory, it could give birth to as many powerful gods and Divine Thrones as Aishi's current gods. It was an endless source of resources.

And once the highest position and creator authority were taken away by the invading Evil Gods, the entire world would naturally be taken away as well.

Of course, the leaders of Aishi wouldn't just stand by and watch this happen.

They researched the Evil God's technology and successfully created a projection … but then they discovered that the local gods and the Universe Evil Gods were two completely different kinds of existences. Even the Main God-level local gods couldn't withstand the Universe Evil Gods' projection through the crystal wall.

Not only that, the Ansorenne Plane was far too large. There were hundreds or even thousands of primordial planes, as well as countless local residents.

Only a few or a few dozen Aishi Superior Gods would be unable to resist the endless Evil God's Seed, even if they were already receiving support from the local residents.

I'll omit the complicated process and struggles of the past 100 years, as that wasn't something that could be explained in just one or two months.

"We need a sufficient number of newcomers to support us. It's best if those newcomers can grow in this land."

This required technological advancements. The newest technology was to allow the corpses of existences that were about to ascend to godhood to pass through the dimensional barrier, allowing the new Gods to establish their Divine Kingdom in the Ansorenne Plane …

The simplest explanation was that the new Gods would become the local gods of the Ansorenne Plane, allowing them to grow and establish their Divine Kingdom there. They would also be able to establish a church in the Aishi Plane and expand their power.

Just having Gods wouldn't be enough. Newly born Gods wouldn't be strong, so they also developed a series of technology to allow the Gods' warriors to come to this world through certain methods.

However, this would obviously come at a tremendous price, and the total number of Gods would be limited. Elite combat tactics were necessary.

Since combat strength was limited, weapons and equipment would be even more important.

With the efforts of their predecessors, the Ansorenne Plane also had a production line and basic industry for magic armor.

In order to meet the demands of actual combat, the Aishi Plane's magic armor technology was rapidly being updated. This was also the reason why the Aishi Plane valued magic armor more and more.

Cough, cough, I digressed. Let's get back to the main topic.

This technology greatly reduced the requirements for ascending to godhood. And establishing a Divine Kingdom in a completely foreign place … wouldn't that be the same as becoming a supreme ruler in another world?

The ancient lands of the Elemental Tide were immeasurable wealth. It was said that the Elemental Tide there was more than ten times that of the Aishi Plane, so it was naturally suitable for the growth of the strong. There was no jurisdiction, and as long as one could withstand the competition, they could do anything they wanted.

Endless power, endless wealth, and Ansorenne's fated ascension as a Supreme God moved countless champions, Gods, nations, races, and clans.

The whirlpool of benefits was so huge that all of the Aishi Plane's forces were probably involved.

Although the Aishi Plane seemed peaceful now, everyone was actually competing against each other. The annual returns from Ansolion were already several times the GDP of each country.

Therefore, the number of new Gods ascended last year once again reached a record high. It seemed that it was only a matter of time before the number of new Gods broke through fifty thousand.

The strength of the Aishi Plane's local Church was also the foundation of the new Gods. In order to further their development, the new Gods naturally became more and more aggressive in their competition for new Gods and believers in the Aishi Plane.

That was when Loli and her friends formed the Church of the God of Games by a freak combination of factors, falling into the trap and exposing their identities.

Since things had developed to this point, it was natural that Rorschach was destined to be involved in this whirlpool.

Therefore, instead of waiting for the assassins on Earth, it was better to let her brother take the initiative to participate. And so, Lori sent out the black letter that started everything.

"… That's about it. You can read up on the specifics of the Ten Thousand Gods Descending Plan."

On the way back to school, Su Nanna had more or less explained everything that needed to be done.

Rorschach, on the other hand, still had a lot of doubts, but at least he had a general idea of how things would develop.

"So, what should I do now?"

At that moment, Su Nanna fell silent, and hesitantly extended her finger.

"… Study hard and improve every day?"

Alright, from a certain point of view, she was right. After all, even if it was a battle between the new Gods, it wasn't something that a rookie like him could interfere with.

And it seemed … no, Rorschach was certain that he was Lori's weakness.

"Not only can I not help, I'm even holding her back …"
