"How do we wake them up?" Angor asked.

Once again, Angor felt much more relaxed. As Sunders said, once he let go of his instincts, he felt like a fish in water in the mist. The strange figures in the mist looked funny to him, the strange songs were pleasant to his ears, and even the mist in the air was refreshing.

Now that he had freed himself from the shackles, he moved much faster. Along the way, he saw "clowns" dancing and singing all over the streets. The entire Midnight Sovereign seemed to have turned into a city of singing and dancing, although their voices were a little creepy.

However, the "city of singing and dancing" was only limited to places Angor couldn't see. Whenever he walked past, the "clowns" would scatter. Angor was going to a place called "City of Silence".

According to Sunders, he didn't need to wake them up one by one. As long as he dealt with the source, the rest would be easy.

Since he was entering from the north gate, he had to cross half of the city to reach the white wall where Twilight Well was located. Angor considered his route and decided to go from the center of the main street to the south. Since that was the case, he decided to take a trip to the royal palace.

The royal palace was where the nobles of Midnight Sovereign gathered, and Moa Duke Mansion was located there.

Twilight Well was near the south gate. Angor planned to fulfill his promise and rescue the Moans for Lydia while escorting them to the south gate. Once he fulfilled his promise, he could return to Twilight Well without any trouble.

Without any transportation, it took Angor two hours to reach the royal palace from the north gate. And that was when he ran as fast as he could, which showed how big Midnight Sovereign was with millions of residents.

Now that he reached the palace gate, he didn't need to worry about anything else. The Moa Duke Mansion was the closest to the palace gate.

Moa Duke Mansion was shrouded in mist and looked peaceful and quiet.

The gate wasn't locked. Angor pushed it open and entered. A few steps later, he heard the strange song again. Angor looked around and saw several clown maids rushing into the mist. One of them even jumped over a three-meter-tall wall.

As he ventured deeper into the city, he noticed a pattern.

There were many "clowns" in the fog, but none of them dared to face him. Maybe it was fear or something else. Angor wasn't sure. Well, it was good that he did not have to face the clowns. Their twisted movements were not pretty, and he did not like them. In fact, he hated them.

This was the first time he felt disgusted since he came to Midnight Sovereign.

He even had a feeling that the clowns knew that he "hated" them, so they tried their best not to show up in front of him. At first, he could still see people bowing to him from afar. But as time went by, he could not find any mutants in his sight.

The Duke's Mansion was very big, and because of his appearance, there were no "living things" around. He searched for a long time but still failed to find the entrance to the underground cavern, let alone find a way to save Hobbiton's parents.

He wondered if he should ask Sunders for help. However, Angor had no control over when Sunders spoke. He did not know Long-Distance Sound, and even if he did, he did not have enough energy to locate Sunders' location.

Suddenly, he heard cracking noises coming from one of the rooms on the right.

He did not hear any strange singing or creaking noises. Did that mean the person in the room was not a mutated person who was possessed by a parasite?

Angor thought for a moment. He stood near the door and told Toby to stay alert while he used Hand of Spell. A giant hand glowing in blue light appeared out of nowhere. Under Angor's gaze, the hand slowly opened the door.

Angor reached out with his spirit feelers and saw that he was inside a study. And the one that was making the creaking sounds was not a living person as he had imagined. It was a large, purple-grey magic puppet floating in the air.

Angor knew that Red Lotus left a puppet in Moa Duke's Mansion, but he never saw it, so he could not be sure.

"Lady Lotus?" Angor tried to find out more.

As soon as he finished speaking, the big-headed magic puppet floated out of the study, waving its thin arms.

"Mister Sunders is right. You're not a parasite." Lydia's voice came from the puppet's mouth. "I really want to find out —"

Before Lydia could finish, she heard some noises coming from the other side. It seemed that Mirror Lady was talking to Lydia.

"Lady Lotus, I didn't find any living person in the mansion. May I know where Tepikkhu and his son are?" Angor asked politely after making sure no one was talking.

The puppet pointed at the study. "There's a secret passage behind the bookshelf. Go there yourself."

With that, the puppet walked out of the mansion. It seemed that Lydia did not plan to keep an eye on Angor.

Without anyone watching him, Angor felt more at ease. He walked into the dark study and spent some time searching for the mechanism to open the bookshelf.

The tunnel was long. It took Angor two minutes to reach the place where there was light. Along the way, he saw unlocked storage rooms filled with all kinds of daily necessities. With these supplies, Domino could live for half a year in the underground without any problems.

Walking in the tunnel, Angor felt like he was back in the Cave Field. However, Duke Tepikkhu's cave was not as big as the Cave Field. Soon, Angor heard someone talking.

At the end of the Catacombs was a spacious hall. The periphery of the hall was divided into several small rooms by glass. Figures could be seen in each of the small rooms. Most of them were guards in armor.

In the center of the hall, a young man in a black cloak was sitting on a high chair covered with carpets. He was looking up blankly. Around him, there was only a servant with a pointy mouth and monkey-like cheeks following behind him.

Angor attracted everyone's attention as soon as he stepped into the hall.

In less than ten seconds, all the guards rushed out of their rooms and stood beside the young man.

"Who are you?" It was one of the young man's servants.

Perhaps it was because Angor's clothes were too loose to hide a weapon. In addition, there was no madness in his eyes, and he was young, so the guards only stood guard around the young man. They were vigilant against him, but did not make a move on him.

Hearing the servant's words, the young man looked away from the sky and looked at Angor.

"Who's Domino?" Angor asked.

The young man said, "I'm Domino. Who are you?"

"Who I am is not important. You only need to know that I have been entrusted by Lord Red Lotus to save you." Angor turned around. "You have five minutes to pack up. I'll wait for you at the entrance."

With that, Angor turned around and walked away.

Domino hurriedly yelled, "Are you a wizard? Can we really go out now? There's a disease outside. Won't it get to us? "

Angor's voice came out of the dark tunnel.

"If I can get here, I can get you out too."

After that, no matter how much Domino yelled, Angor never answered.

He returned to his study and sat in front of his desk. Looking at the mist outside the open door, he felt a lot better than before when he was faced with living people.

The mist didn't repel anything strange. Instead, it seemed to repel humans. Angor already felt that his happy mood was replaced by an uncomfortable feeling when he saw human beings. Instead, he felt much better when he saw the ugly mutants.

"This isn't my nature." Angor looked worried. What was controlling his emotions?

"Shava … Shava …" He sighed and murmured, "Shava … Shava …"

Who are you?

Five minutes later, Angor saw Domino coming out of the tunnel with all his guards behind him.

It seemed like Domino had put all his eggs in one basket and brought everyone out. It was a big gamble, and Domino was willing to take it. If he succeeded, he would win. If he failed, he would lose everything.

Angor's annoyance toward Domino dissipated a little after witnessing Domino's courage in making such a bold gamble. At least Domino was brave enough to take the risk.

"Are you sure you want to take everyone with you?" Angor asked, "I can't protect all of you if something happens."

"Mister Wizard, as long as Young Master Domino can leave, we can all die," said a servant. The one who spoke was Domino's servant. None of the guards objected to what he said. Angor believed that if Domino asked them to die, they would do it without hesitation.

"The Phantom Servants are really loyal to their masters." Angor sighed in his mind.

"Follow them then. Even if you're infected, it's not necessarily a bad thing," Angor said. Once the parasites were expelled, the victim would benefit greatly. At the very least, the body of the victim would be strengthened significantly.

However, Angor couldn't guarantee that he could expel all the parasites like Sunders said, so he had to be vague about it.

"He's been parasitized. Only death awaits him …" Domino's expression was gloomy.

While Domino was talking, Angor noticed that the guards were standing in a strange formation. The taller ones were standing in front of him, as if they were trying to block his view.

Angor used his spirit feelers to check and saw two guards carrying a gunnysack at the back. The gunnysack was still struggling.

One of the guards frowned. "What's going on? Didn't you just inject the duke with a tranquilizer? He didn't move at all. Why is he struggling now? "

"I don't know. We won't be able to stop him if he keeps struggling. "The other guard frowned as well.

Angor kept looking at where the gunnysack was.

Seeing this, Domino gulped. "Sir Wizard, I …"

Angor glanced at him from the corner of his eyes and walked to the two guards who were carrying the gunnysack.

"Mister Wizard." The two guards looked at the gunnysack and then back at Angor with pale faces. They didn't put down the gunnysack.

"Open it," Angor said.

The guards looked at each other in confusion. Domino quickly came to them. "Mister Wizard, I don't mean to hide it. It's —"

"Duke Tepikkhu. I know." Angor glanced at Domino. "Let him out. It's rare to find someone who can't hide from me. I have something I want to verify."
