Thewis watched as Sunders walked straight to the cage.

Sunders looked down at Roland with a thoughtful expression.

Roland grinned. Even though he was facing Sunders, he was still using the same creepy grin, as well as his strange, venomous eyes.

Thewis walked to the cage and removed the silencing barrier. "Did you find something, Mister Phantom?"

"When I was taking a nap, I thought of a possibility. I need to test my theory. "

A possibility? Thewis didn't know what Sunders was referring to, but he didn't ask. He simply watched Sunders in silence.

Sunders pointed a finger at Roland and released countless illusion nodes from his fingertip, which quickly surrounded Roland like rainbows.

Thewis frowned when he sensed the familiar ripples. "Is this … Illusion Hypnosis?"

They had tried many times to use illusions to interfere with Roland's mind, but nothing worked. Thewis was confused. Why would Sunders want to try again?

Several minutes later, as Thewis expected, Illusion Hypnosis didn't work.

Roland looked up with a mocking smile. "You think you can find a flaw by using the same illusion over and over again? It's useless. You're a truth-finder wizard. "

His mocking laughter echoed in Thewis' ears.

Sunders didn't seem angry at all. Instead, he grinned as if he had just confirmed something.

He stepped out of the cage and returned to the edge of the Geometric Lock.

"Mister Phantom?" Thewis wanted to ask why Sunders was doing this, but he held back his words. Just as Roland said, they tried to interfere with Roland's spirit many times in an attempt to find a flaw. But they never found anything. Maybe Sunders just wanted to test it out on a whim?

"I found something. Let me think about it," Sunders spoke in a plain tone.

Without waiting for Thewis' reply, Sunders sat down and set up an isolation barrier around him. It looked like he was going to take a nap.

Thewis didn't think Sunders was serious. He thought the man was just joking. However, Sunders made a "do not disturb" gesture as if he was really thinking about something.

Thewis turned around and looked at Roland's cold and gloomy face. He sighed deeply.

Let's hope Sunders can find something …

Dream Wilderness, Beginnings City.

Sunders' figure appeared out of thin air as if he just came out of a mirror. Without being stopped by the dream gate, he crossed the bridge and returned to where he came from.

In the same aristocratic mansion, an exquisite tea set was placed in front of him. The black tea in the teacup was still emitting white smoke.

Angor sat on the other side of the table and looked at him curiously. "Did you find anything, sir?"

"I tried it again, and when I interfered with Roland's mind, I did feel that something was wrong." Sunders' eyes glinted. He tried to recall the strange power he felt earlier and tried to explain it in words. "It's Mystery power. It's entangled with Roland's spirit consciousness, and it contains a large amount of negative energy. It's like an amalgamation of negative energy, but it's located in Roland's spirit sea.

"… I think that's the reason why Roland's second personality is made up of negative energy."

Sunders' explanation was similar to what Angor thought. Roland's second personality was most likely made up of Mystery power.

But even if Roland's second personality was created by Mystery power, Angor still didn't understand what Sunders meant. What was the point of confirming this?

"What's the point?" Sunders chuckled. "Since we think Roland's second personality was created by Mystery power, we can assume that Roland's first personality is the main one."

Sunders paused for a moment. "Do you think his first personality was affected by Mystery power?"

Angor was a little surprised. If the second personality was created by a mysterious power, then it should be perfect, just as Sunders had told him.

As for Roland's first personality … Even if Angor didn't get to know it personally, he could tell that there was something wrong with it. Of course, it wasn't something unique to Roland. As a human being, it was difficult to avoid certain weaknesses in human nature.

Otherwise, Roland's second personality wouldn't have been in such a hurry to replace his first personality.

Angor knew that Roland's first personality would reveal something when he was faced with spirit interference and Mind Probing. Otherwise, he wouldn't have been able to turn the situation around.

Sunders already had an answer to his question. Since the first personality was still lacking, the possibility of being affected by the Mystery power was very low.

"The second personality is difficult to deal with because of the Mystery power. Let's focus on the first personality."

Angor still didn't understand what was going on. They were back to square one. How were they going to find Roland's first personality?

"The things I told you before are the prerequisites." Sunders suddenly stood up and walked to the edge of the room, where a dim oil lamp with luxurious carvings was placed.

Sunders extinguished the lamp and poured out the oil inside.

It was a bottle of oil in liquid form.

Angor watched as Sunders poured the oil into a glass filled with water. The clear oil and water naturally formed two different layers.

"Just like water and oil. Even if they coexist in the same body, they are still distinct. Roland's first and second personalities are also distinct entities. If we can find out why they are different, we might be able to find his first personality.

"Didn't I already point out a difference with the things I said earlier?"

Angor was enlightened by Sunders' words. Roland's second personality had Mystery power, while his first personality wasn't affected by Mystery power. This was the difference!

Now, what he needed to consider was how to find the first personality from this point of difference.

"One is affected by Mystery power, while the other is an ordinary personality without Mystery power," Angor muttered. "The dream wasteland?"

It was indeed difficult to separate Roland's two personalities in the real world. But what if it was the dream wasteland?

Angor tried to drag the servants from the wine cellar into the dream wasteland. However, due to the Mystery power created by the Crimson Crown in their minds, they couldn't enter the dream wasteland.

This was similar to Roland's second personality. Roland's second personality was full of Mystery power, which would definitely be rejected by the dream wasteland. But would an ordinary first personality be rejected by the dream wasteland?

He believed the answer was probably "no".

If he could separate the two personalities in the dream wasteland, he would have a lot more room to maneuver.

"Yes. We can use the Mystery power in the dream wasteland to separate Roland's two personalities," Sunders nodded. "But there's another question. Can the dream wasteland really accommodate them?"

From a certain point of view, personality was a combination of one's consciousness. The dream wasteland, on the other hand, contained the consciousness of the individual. It sounded like the dream wasteland could accommodate them, but no one knew the specifics.

"It doesn't matter. Let's test it out. If it's not what we want, I'll use the Dream Gate and the Gatekeeper's power to kick it out. " Angor considered for a moment. "Let's see if you can pull people into the dream wasteland as well."

Since Sunders could use Nightmare Illusion to enter the dream wasteland, Angor was sure that Sunders could pull others into the dream wasteland as well.

However, he didn't have any data yet. He needed to test it out first.

Sunders nodded. His body blurred and soon disappeared from the room.

Sunders opened his eyes when he returned to the real world.

Thewis didn't ask Sunders if he found anything. He didn't want to embarrass Sunders by saying no.

However, to his surprise, Sunders approached him. "I have an idea, but I need to test it first."

Thewis was about to ask if Sunders needed his help, but he quickly understood what Sunders meant.

"I'll wait outside the Geometric Lock." Thewis knew Sunders wanted some privacy, so he nodded and left.

In Thewis' opinion, Sunders must have something up his sleeve. Thewis was curious, but he didn't want to pry into other people's secrets. If Sunders really used a trump card that he did not want to reveal to others, it might actually work.

Now, only Sunders and Rolando were left inside the Geometric Lock.

Rolando heard Sunders' words as well, but he didn't believe Sunders' "idea" at all. He looked at Sunders with a mocking expression as if he was watching a clown's performance.

"You're a personality created by a Mystery item, aren't you?"

Rolando's expression didn't change, but a strange light flashed in his eyes.

Sunders noticed this and grinned. Without saying anything else, he reached out a hand toward Rolando. A strange energy instantly enveloped Rolando.

"A dream cantrip?" Rolando chuckled. "So that's your idea. But it doesn't work on me, does it?"

Sunders looked at Roland calmly. "Is it really useless?"

Roland froze for a moment, as if realizing something, his expression suddenly changed.
