The armor-piercing enchantment gave bullets the ability to penetrate, and Elementary Annihilation used part of Elementary Penetration's ability to manipulate Telekinesis.
The armor-piercing enchantment only took a short moment for the bullet to penetrate, and it didn't require much of Luke's mental strength.
Elementary Annihilation, on the other hand, required him to use this special mental energy as if it were part of his body.
It could cut an opponent like a sharp blade, and it could also attach itself to him like armor for protection, but the latter was much more difficult than the former.
Elementary Annihilation's greatest characteristics were that it could be sustained and controllable.
It was also a "trump card" that Luke had used to intimidate a certain alien dog head.
