Chapter 485

Words:1895Update:22/06/26 10:54:52

Report

There were still people in the armory, but only two.

Their backs were to the door as they sorted out their ammunition and equipment, and didn't notice Luke come in.

This was the core area of the stronghold, and they were surrounded by their own people. It never occurred to them that an enemy could sneak in.

Luke walked over and punched each of them in the back of the head.

Then, he got straight to the point.

He wasn't interested in bullets; he had enough of them in his inventory.

He was a little tempted by the loaded ammo belts, but there was no need to take them now.

His hands moved quickly as he opened the lids of several boxes. After confirming the equipment inside, he put the boxes away in his inventory, as well as the two RPGs and a row of bullets.

He hadn't bought them yet, and for the same reason as machine guns, he couldn't use them for the time being.

Of course, he was going to steal them now.

His actions were quite swift. In less than two minutes, he had already washed the things that he had set his eyes on.

Then, he stuffed the bodies of the two criminals into two empty boxes and closed the lids. Luke also put two boxes of bullets on top of them.

For the time being, nobody would discover their bodies, which would give him more time to act.

Sneaking out of the concrete room, he headed for the spot he had chosen earlier.

This was a building in the one o 'clock direction of the stronghold. There was nothing special about it, and it was actually very unremarkable.

This building wasn't a key point of defense, nor was it on the periphery. It was slightly out of the way, and was only relatively close to the large field of weeds outside.

Here, Luke tossed out a rope dart and pulled in a criminal who was on guard outside the building, before he casually knocked him out.

Then, he took out the raw materials from the storage dimension and quickly created a temporary weapon.

These were materials that he had picked up in Dito's manor, and were specifically for this field.

Since the materials were all readily available, he was soon done.

Luke stuffed most of the self-made weapons back into his inventory, and picked up the remaining dozen or so in his hands as he walked to the back of the building.

This was a blind spot in the stronghold. The criminal had been guarding this place, but naturally, it was empty now.

Luke arranged the pile of self-made weapons in front of him. Taking a deep breath, he picked one up, pulled out the ring on a grenade, and threw it out.

At a rate of two per second, he quickly threw out more than ten self-made weapons in front of him.

He used a lot of strength and threw it at an astonishing height. The self-made weapon was like a celestial maiden scattering flowers, forming an arc and flying towards the weeds in front of him.

When Luke threw out the homemade weapon, a criminal on guard in front of a building further up ahead suddenly sensed that something wasn't right. He subconsciously raised his head and said, "Why do I feel like something flew over our heads?"

The other criminal also looked around. "Where?"

But the self-made weapons that flew over their heads had already fallen into the weeds, and they could no longer see them.

Just as the two of them finished speaking, they heard a loud bang. The first self-made weapon that was still in the air had exploded.

Countless sparks flew out with the explosion, splashing a huge meteor shower in the air, covering an area of more than ten meters.

Then, a series of explosions and a rain of fire spread rapidly above the weed farm outside the stronghold.

The two criminals were dumbfounded.

When the first explosion rang out in the stronghold, everybody couldn't help but fall silent.

A moment later, everybody subconsciously opened their mouths. Some were asking questions, some were yelling, and the stronghold was in an uproar.

Selina's voice rang out. "Martin and the others have already taken care of the criminals blocking the way. They're speeding toward the stronghold."

Luke chuckled inwardly. Now, Martin had a chance.

Getting Martin to attack a defensive line of more than three hundred people, even if his opponents were amateurs, would be suicide.

American soldiers fighting overseas often said, "We have the absolute advantage in the first ten minutes of the battle." After ten minutes, it would be a matter of who had more people.

The meaning of this was very clear: in a battle, being outnumbered for a long time was fatal.

For a short time, firepower and personal strength could overwhelm an advantage in numbers.

But as time went on, even the most elite soldiers wouldn't be able to take it when faced with an endless stream of enemies.

Of course, this mainly referred to when squads were out on missions, such as in Baghdad or Afghanistan.

Luke had snuck in undetected to create chaos.

He was now far stronger than an ordinary person, but if he wanted to easily take care of these criminals from Dito's group, he couldn't just stand out.

Even with Elementary Self-Healing and the bulletproof vest, it would still be very painful if hundreds of guns were fired at him.

Sure enough, Martin hadn't given up on revenge. If he continued to attack, Luke would have more room to maneuver.

As he pondered, he took out a box of grenades from his inventory and weighed one in his hand. "When they're outside the stronghold, remind me of the distance and range."

Selina said, "They'll be near the main entrance in a minute." This was a buffer time for him to prepare.

One minute passed very quickly.

"Martin and the others have stopped. They haven't moved forward yet," Selina reminded him.

Luke chuckled. "The show's about to start."

Saying that, he pulled out the pin on the grenade and threw it at the main entrance.

He didn't stop throwing the grenades after he started.

At a rate of two per second, he threw the box of grenades at the various locations near the main entrance that he had already locked onto. Boom!

Boom! Boom! Boom!

80! 80! 80! 80! Luke couldn't help but recite that in his heart.

A series of explosions rang out, and sparks and shrapnel flew everywhere. The criminals who had gathered around the main entrance were heavily injured.

At that moment, Luke had turned into a human grenade launcher as he threw the grenades precisely into the places where the criminals were gathered.

Miserable screams and cries for help echoed throughout the stronghold.

Many of the bandits were killed in the explosion, and even more were half-dead. Their heavy injuries made it impossible for them to do anything but scream and beg for help.

The criminals in the stronghold were panic-stricken. Were they surrounded by the Mexican military? This was a f * cking bombardment!

Luke was throwing grenades at an astonishing rate, and he was very accurate. The grenades exploded everywhere near the front entrance in a chain.

It was so intimidating that the amateur criminals had the illusion that they were surrounded.

Luke couldn't be bothered with them. His performance had only just begun.

After throwing twenty grenades in one go, he calmly observed what was going on inside the stronghold.

At that moment, a lot of people were running around the front entrance in a hurry, although they didn't know what they were running for.

In many places on the outskirts, the criminals couldn't help but open fire at the outside of the stronghold, completely unaware that the attack just now had come from inside.

Luke quickly shifted his attention away from the front entrance.

The guys there had already been blown to bits, and few of them dared to gather together.
