If the other party really did hijack the plane, as long as Luke moved even the slightest bit, the other party might detonate the bomb. There was no way that Luke and Damon would have a chance to attack.
Although their current actions were dangerous, they still had the initiative. If this dragged on, they wouldn't have the initiative at all.
Oftentimes, there was no right or wrong way to handle a case; the biggest mistake was to keep hesitating.
Thankfully, there were fewer people in business class, and the smell was far less complicated than in economy class. In less than ten seconds, Luke locked onto a bearded, middle-aged man who seemed to be mixed-race.
Luke quickly pointed out the man in Damon's ear while he checked Mindy's condition.
Then, Luke pretended that he didn't take anything and returned to the flight attendants' workshop.
The anxious look on his face drew everyone's attention. Could that little girl be this young man's sister?
The black woman called Lopez stepped forward anxiously. "I've already notified the captain."
Luke nodded. "Very good. Stay here and don't make a sound, okay?" As he spoke, he slightly lifted the soft curtain of the workshop and looked in front of him.
Now, it was up to Damon and his daughter to perform.
Luke wasn't the absolute main character in this crisis.
As long as Damon and his daughter weren't good enough, this operation would definitely fail.
But there was nothing Luke could do.
It was three against five, and they couldn't give their opponents any chance to react. It would only be a test of their combat skills, and more importantly, luck.
Luck was the most important factor.
Very soon, exclamations came from business class up ahead, but the people in economy class couldn't see what was going on because of the curtain.
A few seconds later, Damon suddenly walked out from behind the curtain, attracting everyone's attention in economy class.
The old man said anxiously, "No, no, my daughter is convulsing. She's vomiting. Who's the doctor? Can anyone save her? She's still a child. "
At that moment, Luke entered the water calmly and quietly walked out from behind to approach a bearded man in the furthest corner.
The man didn't have any explosives on him, but he could clearly see what was going on in economy class. He was definitely a lookout.
Luke moved quickly and agilely as he squeezed into the small gap behind the man's seat without the slightest trace of smoke or fire.
When the passengers around the lookout weren't paying attention, he punched the back of the head.
Right now, Luke's strength was 24. Even in this situation where he couldn't use his full strength, he was still able to knock him out with one strike.
The two passengers next to the man were still watching Damon's Oscar-winning performance. They didn't notice that the man next to them had been knocked out.
Who asked this person to be in the corner! He could see everyone, and almost everyone had a hard time paying attention to him.
After his successful attack, Luke slid out silently, as nimble and silent as a snake.
At that moment, Damon had already reached the front of the economy class. When he saw that Luke had dealt with the man in the corner, his muscles instantly tensed up.
The operation had entered the most critical moment, and they could not afford to make any mistakes.
Seeing that Luke suddenly gestured at him, Damon instantly lunged at a man one meter away from him.
His ferocious head smashed against the ground, and with a slight cracking sound, the face of the bearded man sitting in the middle of the seat on the right caved in. Then, without hesitation, he followed up with a heavy punch.
At the same time, Luke threw out the only knife in his hand. Like a silver thread, it instantly pierced the eye of a man two meters away.
At the same time the two men made their move, the curtain of the business class was also slightly lifted. A black shadow shot out quickly, passed through three rows of seats, and accurately hit a man's eye socket.
The man instantly passed out.
Even though the five terrorists were taken care of, Damon and Luke didn't relax. Instead, they narrowed their eyes and quickly scanned the passengers in the cabin.
Some of the passengers were dumbfounded, some were trembling, and some were already exclaiming, but none of them seemed to be acting strangely.
Neither of them moved. Just like that, they scanned the passengers back and forth.
Jennifer and Lopez, who had received Luke's instructions in advance, had already started to comfort the passengers. They explained in a low voice that this was an emergency operation by the police department, and that the killers were all police officers.
Although everybody was scared, they were starting to believe it when they saw the two silent men in front and behind them with sharp eyes.
If he were a terrorist, he would have been yelling and threatening everyone by now.
Also, looking at the appearances of the two men and the men who had been knocked out (dead), everybody was starting to believe it.
Lopez came to Luke and asked in a low voice, "What do we do now?"
Luke whispered next to her ear, "Tell the captain to find the nearest airport and land. It's not safe on the plane."
Lopez instantly thought of the most terrifying possibility, and almost peed her pants.
Luke patted her shoulder. "Don't worry. They've all been subdued. But it's best to get everybody off the plane as soon as possible. "
Half an hour later, the plane made an emergency landing at Des Moines Airport in Iowa.
Also, a lot of SWAT officers, fire trucks, and ambulances were on the scene.
When the passengers could not wait to leave the plane through the gangway, a group of SWAT officers rushed in and quickly brought down the four tied up suspects and a corpse.
With a complicated expression, Elsa watched Luke be taken away by the SWAT officers. In the end, she sighed and went to the SWAT officers. She told them who she was and that she was Luke's colleague, before she was taken away too.
Damon and Mindy were also taken away by the SWAT officers with bitter smiles on their faces.
Mindy glared at Luke angrily. It was this guy who sent her to jail at such a young age! This guy didn't look like a warm blond at all! She decided that she would definitely hate him from now on!
Luke smiled at Mindy and thanked Damon.
But he didn't feel guilty.
If they hadn't helped, everybody would have died together, and he wouldn't have to worry about being taken away by the police.
Luke's delay lasted for three days.
Damon and Mindy fared better. They were released on the second night, and they even came to say goodbye to Luke before they took a free flight back to New York.
However, Damon and Mindy didn't leave any contact information for him, which made Luke even more suspicious.
Well, although Mindy seemed to be gnashing her teeth at him, there was no need for her to cut off contact with him, was there? Could it be that he had really done something outrageous? It had to be Mindy!
Luke comforted himself.
On the other hand, he felt a lot better about Elsa.
