Perched upon Rolly's shoulder, Jun Wu Xie was enjoying the feeling of being wrapped up in its fluffy fur. Suddenly, her eyes narrowed, as the breeze that blew past her was tinged with the stench of blood that she loathed!

"Stop!" Jun Wu Xie shouted suddenly.

The team immediately stopped.

"What is it?" Fan Jin looked up at Jun Wu Xie who was sitting upon Rolly's shoulders.

"There's the smell of blood." Jun Wu Xie frowned.

"Is it from a Spirit Beast?" Qiao Chu sniffed around and did not detect the scent of blood and gave up.

"It's human." Jun Wu Xie narrowed her eyes. The scent was very faint and if they had not been moving against the wind, the scent would not have reached her. The scent was carried by the wind and it should be some distance away from them. She raised her head and looked at the source of the scent. They had already reached the edge of the area indicated on the map and if they went any deeper, they would be beyond the safety zone set by the Zephyr Academy.

Qiao Chu and the others turned to look in the direction Jun Wu Xie was pointing. The trees there were denser and denser than the places they had passed before. Almost every tree was over ten meters tall and the towering trees covered the entire area, making it impossible to see what was inside.

"From there?" Qiao Chu asked.

Jun Wu Xie nodded.

"Let's go take a look?" Qiao Chu was rather eager. The area marked out on the Zephyr Academy's map was mostly filled with low grade Spirit Beasts and to them, it was not a challenge at all. But because of Rolly, they could not even see the low grade Spirit Beasts and if this went on, Qiao Chu was going to lose his mind.

Jun Wu Xie turned her gaze to Fan Jin. She had no particular purpose in coming into the Battle Spirits Forest and she was just here to hunt down targets that came knocking on her door.

Fan Jin was silent for a moment before he said: "That area is in the heart of the Battle Spirits Forest and there are not only mid grade and high grade Spirit Beasts, there are even Guardian Grade Spirit Beasts. Are you sure you want to go there?"

"Guardian Grade Spirit Beasts?" Qiao Chu raised an eyebrow.

"It is said that Guardian Grade Spirit Beasts are extremely powerful and even a purple spirit would have no choice but to run for their lives. Till now, no one has ever successfully hunted down a Guardian Grade Spirit Beast." When Fan Jin mentioned the Guardian Grade Spirit Beasts, he could not help but feel a sense of awe.

Guardian Grade Spirit Beasts. That was a level that no one dared to provoke.

Qiao Chu had been rather eager to give it a try, but after hearing Fan Jin's words, he immediately quietened down.

Although the few of them could make use of some special methods to forcibly raise their spirit powers to the Purple Spirit, but that was only for a very short period of time, and it was highly taxing on their bodies. If not for the fact that it was a matter of life and death, they would definitely not do it.

"Cough, let's go somewhere else." Although he did not know if the Guardian Spirit Beasts were as terrifying as Fan Jin had described them to be, but he did not want to waste too much of his energy in a place like this.

However, Jun Xie's eyes were narrowed as she stared at the forest. Just as she turned her gaze away, a figure covered in blood suddenly came running out from the forest in a wretched state. From the blood stained clothes he was wearing, she could tell that he was a disciple of the Zephyr Academy!

The man had a look of terror on his face as he ran and screamed incessantly. He rolled and crawled in the direction of Fan Jin and the others.

It might have been due to the shock, but the moment the youth saw Fan Jin dressed in the Zephyr Academy's uniform, he immediately threw himself at him, crying.

"Help! Help! " As if grasping at the last life-saving straw, the young man fell to the ground and tightly held onto the corner of Fan Jin's clothes as he cried.
