Report

As one fainted, another came. Jun Wu Xie's hand on Fan Zhuo's pulse bulged.

"If you do not want him to die, then do as I say." Jun Wu Xie did not have the time to explain any further to Fan Jin. She wanted to bet on whether Fan Jin would really believe her.

"You ….." Fan Jin stared at the unconscious Ah Jing, and then at the twitching Fan Zhuo, his eyes filled with struggle.

Everything he was seeing, was sending him a dangerous signal. No matter who saw it, they would think that Jun Wu Xie was going to harm Fan Zhuo.

But …..

"You say it, I will do it." A voice in Fan Jin's heart told him that he would not go wrong listening to Jun Wu Xie.

"Hot water, warm wine." Jun Wu Xie could not split herself into two. She could not leave Fan Zhuo's side at that moment.

Fan Jin did not say a word and turned to prepare.

The little black cat sat at the side, watching Fan Jin's swift movements, and wagged its tail.

[At least you know what's good for you. You did not waste my Mistress' efforts to save your little brother.]

In a short while, Fan Jin had all the things Jun Wu Xie had asked for prepared and brought them over. Jun Wu Xie ignored him and focused on treating Fan Zhuo.

Fan Jin put the things away. The room was so quiet that he could hear his own heartbeat. He squatted down and checked on Ah Jing's injuries. He found that Ah Jing's neck had been grazed a little and he had fainted from a little loss of blood. His life was not in danger. He carried Ah Jing to another room and Fan Jin stood obediently by the bed, quietly watching Jun Wu Xie treat Fan Zhuo.

What he saw shocked Fan Jin greatly. He had not thought much about what Jun Wu Xie was doing but when he saw Jun Wu Xie continuously feeding elixirs to Fan Zhuo and rubbing ointment on his acupoints, Fan Jin's expression changed to one of shock.

"Little Xie ….. You are treating Little Zhuo?" Fan Jin asked in shock.

"Shut up." Jun Wu Xie shot him a cold glare and Fan Jin immediately covered his mouth.

Many years later, every time Fan Jin recalled what had happened today, he would feel like crying or laughing. At that time, he had actually handed his seriously ill brother over to a fourteen-year-old boy for treatment. Just how crazy was he?

Fan Zhuo spasmed for a long while before he finally calmed down. His eyes were tightly shut and his clear face was contorted with pain. Jun Wu Xie fetched some hot water and wiped the blood off Fan Zhuo's body before she poured the warm wine into his mouth.

A moment later, Fan Zhuo convulsed again!

"Hold him down." Jun Wu Xie took a step back and said to Fan Jin.

Fan Jin hurriedly walked to the bedside and looked at his younger brother with a face full of pity. He reached out and pressed his brother's shoulder to stop him from struggling too much.

"Pu!"

Fan Zhuo suddenly opened his mouth and a large amount of black liquid sprayed out from his mouth, spraying Fan Jin's face.

The liquid carried a foul stench, and Fan Jin almost fainted from the stench, but he didn't dare to move. He could only watch anxiously as Fan Zhuo spat out the black liquid.

"Turn sideways." Jun Wu Xie's voice rang out again.

Fan Jin immediately understood what she meant and he flipped Fan Zhuo's body over to make him curl up on his side of the bed.

Fan Zhuo continued to vomit but the convulsions on his body were gradually weakening and the amount of filth he spat out was decreasing. Finally, when there was nothing left to vomit out, Jun Wu Xie waved her hand and said: "Let him lie down properly."

Fan Jin immediately did as he was told and he saw that Fan Zhuo's complexion was looking much better than before. The purple bruise had faded from his face.
