Lin Hao Yu did not dare to say anything for a long while, but his face was still filled with disapproval.
"Don't drag me down with you." Gu Xin Yan left in a bad mood, but her heart was filled with another layer of thoughts. Jun Wu's cold indifference had made her rather uncomfortable, but besides treating her that way, Jun Wu treated everyone else the same way. It was to the extent that the only person in the entire Cloudy Brook Academy who was able to exchange a few words with Jun Wu was only her alone, which made her feel slightly better.
But now that Jun Xie was going to the Waning Moon Chambers, Gu Xin Yan saw a glimmer of hope.
She did not know much about the Waning Moon Chambers but if the Waning Moon Chambers really caused Jun Xie to suffer, she would be able to take the opportunity to comfort him.
Gu Xin Yan then left with her thoughts in her mind.
After Jun Wu Xie received the news from Tian Ze, she made a little preparations before she set off for the Waning Moon Chambers.
The Waning Moon Chambers was situated on the east side of the Cloudy Brook Academy. That area was not a place for the disciples to cultivate but it was not too far away from the library and treasure chambers. When Jun Wu Xie walked out from the loft area, she saw quite a number of youths gathered in groups along the way. Every single one of their faces were filled with excited smiles and they must have just returned from their cultivation sessions. Their hearts were filled with joy, the longing they had for the new academy made them highly excited.
The youths were chatting happily and when they saw Jun Wu Xie, their laughter suddenly weakened and their eyes involuntarily floated to fall upon the figure of Jun Wu.
Among this batch of disciples, Jun Wu Xie's spirit powers were not the strongest and her ring spirit was not the strongest but she had become the one who attracted the most attention. When everyone else gathered together in twos and threes, she was always alone and her solitary presence had made the youths who were jealous and envious of her pay even more attention to her.
The youths watched as Jun Wu Xie walked past before their eyes, their faces filled with disapproval.
"I was wondering how long more he would hide in his room and didn't he come out in the end?" One of the disciples said with a smile that did not reach his eyes.
"How pitiful. I heard that the people from the Innate Gift faculty had already gone to report early in the morning but no one seemed to have noticed him and he is still being left in his room with no one to care about him."
"Oh, he's that pitiful? Wasn't he invited by all the Twelve Palaces? I don't think that's all. Even after coming to the Cloudy Brook Academy, no one is interested in him. He really thinks he's something. "
The youths muttered a few words and then began to discuss the previous matter.
Jun Wu Xie had already developed the ability to block out all those voices and she did not pay any attention to what they were talking about.
After walking for awhile, Jun Wu Xie finally found the Waning Moon Chambers. Standing before the doors, she stared at the three words "Waning Moon Chambers" hanging upon the loft and paused a moment before she walked over to the door, raising her hand to knock.
Just standing outside the door, she smelled an intoxicating aroma of wine. The aroma seemed to be coming from behind the door.
The Cloudy Brook Academy forbade its disciples from drinking alcohol and even the teachers were not allowed to drink it easily. It was currently in the afternoon and the sky was still bright. Why would the fragrance of wine appear at this hour?
Jun Wu Xie's heart was rather puzzled but she did not tarry for too long and immediately knocked on the tightly shut door.
There was only silence behind the door and not the slightest sound could be heard. Jun Wu Xie waited for a while but the door still did not open. She knocked again.
The clear sound of knocking on the door rang out in the silence, sounding highly out of place in the empty Cloudy Brook Academy.
There was still no sound coming from the pavilion.
There was not the slightest hint of impatience on Jun Wu Xie's face and she only paused for a moment before she continued to knock on the door, rhythmically, neither too fast nor too slow.
