Min Yu watched as the girl walked away. A moment later, he laughed and shook his head. What a proud little girl.
Zhuo Yun was sitting in the driver's seat. He looked at Min Yu in the rearview mirror. Min Yu clearly despised him but was not angry at all. Zhuo Yun questioned himself again. Was this really his boss?
He felt like he had been replaced!
"Drive," said Min Yu coldly as he glanced at Zhuo Yun. His tone was completely different from before.
Zhuo Yun went speechless. "..."
No. Min Yu was still his boss.
Zhuo Yun glanced at the wooden box in Min Yu's hand as he started the car. He asked him curiously. "This box looks old. I wonder what's inside."
Min Yu lowered his eyes and looked at the wooden box. It was made of sandalwood and had engraved patterns on its frame. It must have been around for a long time, as the edges had been polished smooth. The color was a little dark, so it did look old.
However, the pattern on the edge of the box looked familiar. He seemed to have seen it somewhere before.
Min Yu pondered. He fiddled with the buckle of the box. In the end, he did not open the box. Instead, he placed it aside and looked out of the window. Then he said casually, "Curiosity killed the cat."
Zhuo Yun went speechless. "..."
Did Huo Yao possess some kind of extraordinary ability?
About half an hour later, Zhuo Yun arrived at the old lady Yang Qiuhua's apartment building.
"Yu, let me take it up," said Zhuo Yun as he turned off the engine and unbuckled his seatbelt.
Min Yu glanced at the wooden box. "No thanks. I'll go up myself. Wait for me in the car."
Hearing this, Zhuo Yun's eyes flashed with astonishment. After a moment of silence, he said, "Then be careful."
Min Yu raised his eyes and glanced at him. "Don't be alarmed."
Then he got out of the car with the wooden box. Zhuo Yun touched his nose. He was just being cautious out of habit.

Min Yu took the elevator up and rang the doorbell of Yang Qiuhua's house.
The inner door opened about two minutes later. When Yang Qiuhua saw who it was, she hurriedly opened the security door. "Min Yu, you're here."
Min Yu smiled politely at Yang Qiuhua. "Hi, Grandma."
"Come in quickly." The old lady found a pair of clean slippers in the shoe cabinet and gave them to him. "Why do you have time to come over today? Don't you have classes?"
Min Yu changed into his shoes and walked behind the old lady. He replied politely. "I have the afternoon off, so I dropped by to see you."
Min Yu walked into the living room and looked around before he handed the wooden box over. "Grandma, this is what Huo Yao asked me to bring to you this afternoon."
The old lady was holding a glass of water. She was about to pass it to Min Yu, but when she heard what he said, her hand trembled and the glass slipped from her hand. It fell to the ground with a clang, and glass shards and water splashed all over the floor.
Min Yu hurriedly placed the wooden box on the coffee table. "Don't touch it, Granny."
As he spoke, he reached out and helped the old lady to the sofa. He was about to clean up the glass shards on the ground when the old lady grabbed his arm.
The old lady's face turned pale. Her lips trembled as she gazed at Min Yu. After a long while, she managed to mutter a complete sentence. "Yaoyao... does she not want to come here anymore?"
